Reviews of Barachois Inn 5*
Such a lovely place, and such lovely hospitality ☺️☺️ would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay!
My husband and I just spent 4 days there celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. The Inn is beautiful, the service is spectacular and Judy and Andrea are the most hospitable and friendly hosts you can have. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to everyone!

Judy and Andrea are marvellous hosts. We had a special Rustico Romantic package which included passes to two of Anne of Green Gables sites, including the Heritage Home — a recreation of Anne’s home. So well done as it was actually owned by Lucy Maud Montgomery’s aunt and uncle. We went to the Anne of Green Museum and had an exciting horse-drawn carriage ride down to the Lake of Shining Waters which included a picnic lunch. It was a little chilly that day so we had a picnic in front of the fire in our room. Our package also included dinner for two at The Pearl Eatery but it had closed early due to Hurricane Dorian, so Judy sent us to the historic Dalvay by the sea, a summer mansion built in the late 1800’s by a millionaire from Connecticut. It is now a full service hotel in one of the island’s national parks. Beautiful. Judy is proud of heritage aspects of her home island so we were able to visit the first Acadian house ever built allowing us a look at how the Acadians lived in the past. We also enjoyed a visit to the first Farmer’s Bank of Rustico, a precursor to credit unions. Both are within walking distance of the Inn. Our stay was on Prince Edward Island was wonderful and the Barachois Inn was everything we could have wished for.
