Millstream Cottages Inn

Awful experience in July l/August 2018. Heard these are new owners not sure if this is true or not but anyway. Found the staff very rude. Rented 2 bedroom cottage for 1 week for approximately $1100. Had one roll of toilet paper, no extra garbage bags, like they offered the bare min. (Cheap) Never came over and asked us if we needed anything. We had to go ask for toilet paper, clean towels, garbage bags etc all week. Only ceiling fans in the cottages. They are too hot can’t sleep comfortably. Needs to be updated with A/C that’s forsure ITS 2018! Internet states pull out couch, not true we wanted to watch a movie — no rental movies available on TV either just cable. No plug, to be able to plug in Apple TV/ android box etc. Two plugs under tv. One for TV one for cable/internet box. If the staff wasn’t so rude I may have asked to borrow a bar or an extension cord. Back to the couch anyway we wanted to watch a movie all together so thought; myself and two small kids could get some popcorn and lay on the pull out couch n watch it. WAS NOT A PULL OUT COUCH! Why advertise and state that in the booking. Not only was it not a pull out couch, but it must have been 100 years old and the springs would stick out and was the most uncomfortable couch ever! Plus felt dirty! Covered it in a blanket all week. And the chair that went with it was old and bulky too, took up all space and the enterance into second bedroom. The Kitchen was small as it was.

We stayed June 13-16 and had two cabins! Very nice cottages, very nice owners. They sell fire wood for $5 and he even drove it right over to our cabin. The showers were new, the living room was nice and bright with a big window. They have a little river that the cabins face and offer free use of the kayaks and canoes they have. We didn’t end up using them but loved the option! They have horse shoes set up so you can play, pool wasn’t open when we stayed but did look great! Can’t wait until our next visit!

Wonderful grounds with a pool and cozy clean cottages. There are local rabbits in the field and there are canoes to take out on the lake. Staff is very friendly and the rates are very good. Only 20 minutes from Charlottetown and 5 minutes from Brackley Beach.

The unit was inexpensive. The staff were polite. The room was dated with its contents. Microwave had a turn dial, TV was not flat screen which prevented me from hooking up my personal devices, headboards looked grungy. The beds were decent for comfort. There were newer cottages on the property that looked much newer and updated. The property looks well maintained with lots of green grass, a heated pool, and a small dock on a pond with canoes and kayaks.

We enjoyed our stay here as we were really impress on how clean it was. Service was nice and welcoming. Peaceful cottage (#14) with our screenporch facing the water perfect for our morning coffee routine. They have a heated pool which was convenient for the not-so-sunny day. Our toddler enjoyed the bunnies and the park. Nicely located in between the 2 main area we were visiting. We will come back and we recommend it.

Service was quick and simple, the place was comfortable and surprising in size and the location was convenient. Bed was a bit stiff bit that's just me.

Great place run by a very friendly couple. Some things in the cottage are a bit outdated but it has everything you could need — full kitchen, bathroom, bbq, deck, fire pit, Wi-Fi, TV & satellite. Cottages are a nice size — can sleep up to 8 people — which is amazing for $100. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

Very nice cottages with excellent service. The location is great for getting to major beaches, but you can spend plenty of time there just relaxing. Highly recommended!

Very friendly host and super clean, comfy and good stuffed cottages! Found here by chance, but very happy now! Would recommend to everyone! No mosquitoes!
