Reviews of Bear on the Lake Guesthouse
An interesting place to stay with lots of people coming and going. They offer dorm bed, private rooms for families etc. The kitchen is good, and has everything you need to make meals etc. The beds are not ideal for several nights, but are adequate. The Wi-Fi is not very powerful in case you need that. Great hosts who are personable and kind. This was our second stay and we will be back again sometime, I am sure.
We stayed here two nights as we traveled the Cabot Trail and could not be happier! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful! The place is very clean and there is lots to do near by. If you happen to get bad weather, there are plenty of games to play inside, and, even Netflix! I would highly recommend booking your stay here! * Also, if you book with Hi Hosteling International, be aware that you pay a deposit when booking online! Make sure that you don't pay this twice :)
