A great place to stay, we were celebrating our anniversary! The room was clean w/an amazing view! We did the romantic package and had the lobster dinner, well worth the $. We were lucky enough to have Alan as our waiter for the evening and his suggestions/manner & service were second to none, tnx again Alan! We did make it to the hot tub & pool, again, both great! Breakfast is booked online and finished off our stay w/a 5 star rating! Tnx to the staff…

One of the best experience!

First off the staff were amazing! Friendly, fun, informative! Alan can hook you up with everything interesting! He Gave us local brochures but told us the why we should visit them! He wasn’t just making suggestions but he let us know where he would go and he’s a local! Alan explained Why the Caesars at OOI Were so great! Spicy vodka from Barrelling Tide distillery just down the road. Amazing experience. We will be back again without a doubt.

What an amazing place! We were greeted by the most friendly and accommodating staff. Helped through our stay by more great staff and check out was a breeze with the friendliness and kindness your staff showed! They let our kids be kids. They kept us safe and let us play and I cannot say enough good things about you!
This truely was the best staycation we have had, and I can't wait to come back again!

On December 12, 2020 my now husband and I took advantage of the Inn's new elopement package. It was the best decision we could have made. The staff went above and beyond, the food was amazing, the service flawless. I also had my hair, make up, and nails done at Eau Spa where the service was top notch. If you are thinking of eloping, I highly recommend The Old O.

The Old Orchard Inn looks quite nice in the front lobby and other public halls/restaurant, it has an enjoyable rustic feel and look. A family wedding we attended here was beautiful, and all the food was well presented, and delicious, and having our room so close was convenient. For the wedding on its own, I would have given more than 2 stars. However, this 2 star review is in regards to my hotel room. The room itself was nice enough, and the furniture matched the theme of the rest of the inn. We even had a small balcony, which is always nice to have. But I was disappointed with how dark and dim the room was, even with all the lights on. You could see that some of the light fixtures in the ceiling were either missing some light bulbs, or that burnt out ones had not been replaced. The other thing that disappointed me (even though I realize it's harder to control) was how damp the room was! Getting into bed at night was very uncomfortable, as all the bedding was damp and clammy to touch… Even stepping out of bed onto the carpet felt damp to my feet. So my overall impression of the room was that it was cold, dark, and damp. But I think the thing that bothered me the most was with how much housekeeping entered my room. They entered our room while we were attending the wedding even though we did NOT hang the "please clean my room" sign on the door.

Great place for a business event! Lots of room and great accomodations. Easy to find, just take a right off the highway and then you're there. Catering was excellent. Great food served and staff was very friendly.

Mediocre at best. Outdated furniture, horrible bed, dirty pool and room service not so much. You call and order then have to go to restaurant to pick up. Mind you they can send someone to bvb your room to let you know it's ready when your phone doesn't work. The bathroom was updated though, complete with large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap hanging from the wall. Bed sheets didn't properly fit and mattress felt like it was old with a mattress topper stuck on, maybe that's why the sheets don't fit. Picture includes a $9 piece of "cheesecake" topped with chocolate shards and a purple hew lavender drizzle — good luck finding it!

We stumbled on this little gem after a nightmare cottage rental experience. Matt at the front desk was so helpful. He even offered us a special rate knowing we had been scammed. This is a rustic inn that needs some updating but it's clean, quiet and the staff are super accommodating… even making home made chicken soup when one of our travelling companions fell ill. Great family or romantic getaway with gorgeous views and close to multiple wineries. We had a ground floor room at the back of the hotel. Horseshoe pits and many other lawn games available as well as indoor pool and hot tub.

Always be wary of hotels and motels that don't show pictures of their room on their websites. There is a reason. In this case its because the rooms are nasty and badly in need of renovation. The furniture hasn't been replaced in 30 years (if ever) and it shows. The carpet was so nasty we didn't dare walk on it in bare feet. The bathroom door couldn't be closed completely, and the deadbolt to the outside door couldn't be latched at all. Lastly, our room had a horrible smell to it that got into our clothes. It was if they use to allow smoking in that room for years and when they converted it to non-smoking, didn't bother to fumigate or change the carpet, curtains, etc. I give it 2 stars because the lobby and restaurant areas are nice and well kept. But since people don't sleep in those areas, its about time that the owners started paying attention to the rooms.

I was going to give 4 stars just because 5 means perfect and then I thought “nothing is perfect … but my stay here pretty much was! ” Our room was so clean the cleaning staff deserves an award. All the staff was super friendly but not fake friendly. Dining room was beautiful and the meal we had (clubhouse and potato skins was fantastic! ) prices were average. The waiter who was an older gentlemen (can’t remember the name) was very helpful and friendly as well but not pushy. Gorgeous view from the very large deck, off the dining room, overlooking the valley. The pool and hot tub area is open daily from 8am to 10 pm which was very nice. Sauna as well but didn’t use it. Ice machine and vending machine in the hall way. Board games and cards available at the front desk was a nice touch. We had a room with a queen bed and sofa. Bed was comfy. It was a bit soft for my liking but my daughter loved it! Cable TV with free HBO and movie network. The free Wi-Fi was excellent… no lagging etc. I will definitely return!

Rented a room with a king size bed and hot tub. Great bed and fluffy pillows and a hot tub designed for 2. Food served there always well cooked and taste like they put the effort into it. Great now I want another peice of that apple pie.

Very dated. Rooms need to be upgraded. It's lobby and dining room are ok but the room furniture emphasizes the word "old" orchard Inn… They are often sold out in the summer months at a high rate so it's a real pity the owners don't spend a few dollars and make the appearance better. The closet with no door reminds me of a motel. Put some love into the property!

I stay here once a year for Apple Blossom in the summer cabins. There is nothing fancy about them, and the showers are less than astounding, but they do the job. Beds are comfortable and the room is clean.

The staff here are amazing. Rooms are okay too. Beautiful view if you get a room on the north side.

Perfect central location. Has almost everything you need. No room service delivery but you can order from the restaurant and bring back. Some Rooms have amazing views. Not the most current accommodation but we'll maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices for breakfast side dishes extremely high … Side order if bacon $4.50 approx. Love the million dollar views.

Stayed there for one night as it was close to an event I was working for. Everything about the room was exceptional. Spa and pool was an added bonus. Overall great place!

Visited the inn as part of a convention and had a great time. The wine was rather needlessly and excessively expensive but I enjoyed my visit overall.

Weird… like anything I stayed at before. Wanted to know every name of adult and children staying in each room, no military veteran discount, unless ur on duty, so veterans who served are discriminated… If u want to eat in their vacant restaurant u need to make a reservation, as they state they r too busy. Because of the menu prices and many children we decided to provide our own healthy food choices. No microwave in the room, when requested, told $25+tax /night to rent. Microwaves are pretty much the standard amenity in hotel rooms that I ever stayed at. Since we had a block of rooms for the team, we asked for a complimentary microwave for the team to share, yet we were advised to collect $2 fr every kid to rent it from them! Ha! Ok. Not! Most times cards didn't work to get into building or rooms. Character of the building is very charming.

Pretty run down. An alternative to White point or oak island if you're really sick if those places. Not much around to catch your eye either.

Old building… needs some updating. Expensive menu. However, should you stay here, ask for a valley view room… the scenery is Beautiful! As in the Annapolis Valley.

Very comfy beds… not a great selection in the restaurant for families. Gym is excellent. No free weights but eliptical and treadmill. Pool and hot tub was a nice plus.

Exterior could use an update but it is beautiful inside. Very nice restaurant/lounge area with a huge fireplace. Rooms are very nice but not much soundproofing between rooms…

Excellent location with everything you'd like in a hotel / motel. Quiet, comfortable rooms, accommodating staff, reasonable prices, and great food. I'll stay here, over others in the area, every time I'm in town.

Had a work meeting. Room was okay. Food was good. Stayed for supper. Restaurant has a great atmosphere. They had a wood fire in a huge hearth and the view was spectacular.

This place offers outstanding views, and is conveniently located near some wonderful vineyards and craft breweries, and just a few minutes drive from historic Wolfville and Acadia University. The staff at the Inn are very friendly and accommodating, however the Inn itself is very dated. I have never used the spa services, but the pool area is dingy, something even my kids commented on. There is no real room service (you can order food but must collect it yourself), and the food in the restaurant is no more than average, and pricey for the quality.

Great spot and beautiful view! Jacuzzi tub was stuck on top setting. Could have been better for the price.

Outside looks awful, inside is very outdated but has some beautiful features. Booked the "suite" for the jacuzzi tub but the jets didn't work, complained to front desk, was not told we would need reservations for the restaurant, after leaving and Paying the bill the took $250 offour visa but can't tell us why as they have no record of it. Must be a thief on staff as no one knows where the money went. Beware of getting ripped off.

Best view of the Valley with your meal. Has a great buffet when in season. Lots of parking with easy access to the main highway.

Stayed at the hotel for a work conference. Rooms and conference space is excellent. The restaurant food is very good and the staff are engaging and pleasant.

Stayed for one-night in a cabin since the hotel was full. • Checked in for a one-night stay and was lucky to get a cabin (rooms were 100% booked), or so I thought. Checked in and went to cabin 428, door was open, nice first impression? • Tried to adjust the heating, you can have sweat locker or ice chest, nice options. • Made friends with the multitude of bugs and spiders. Some dusting and maybe a nice wipe of the two mirrors? They were abysmal. • Wasted time trying to tune in satellite channels. • Had a good view of the unfinished wall in the bathroom, really, $20 in tongue and groove pine would finish it. The water damage was also attractive. • Finally placed the smell that hit me when I walked in and probably the reason the door was open, urine. Probably in the carpet but prevalent none the less. • Lastly, enjoyed listening to the party on the row behind me until way after midnight. All in all, not worth the $120 plus tax, far from it and to add insult to injury, Mrs N didn’t even bother to ask about my stay which leads me to believe that she couldn’t handle another complaint.

Love the friendly staff. Rooms are well kept. Food is delicious. If you want to have a private spot try the cabins. Some cabins are kitchenettes and quite cozy.

Place is old and looks like a barracks. It was damp and moldy feeling. The carpets were dirty in the halls. The hot tub and pool are nondescript. The spa is nothing to brag about you can see the entrance in the picture. The staff is not unfriendly but they certainly don't go out of their way for anything. Good place for a hockey team on the way back from a game.

Rooms are a bit dated and the carpets aren't the cleanest. I stayed in a room facing the west, which have a great view. The restaurant has really good food and there a nice large balcony facing towards the ocean. Staff were nice and friendly.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Bathrooms clean and spacious. Rooms very nice. Plenty of parking. Could use better signage for main entrance as you drive in and park.

Hotel and room were very clean. My room had a newly renovated bathroom. The internet connection is excellent. I especially appreciated the dedicated business only connection.

Stayed here a few times. Staff is good, rooms are a little dated (hence the name "Old Orchard I guess).

This hotel is gross. I was told as I checked in that my room was just cleaned however my bathroom was covered in hair (shower, floor, sink) that was from a previous guest. The carpets were covered in stains and overall made me feel dirty staying there.
