Today was my first visit to Shadow Lawn Inn, however, definitely not my last.
Lunch with the ladies in the Robertson Resturant was very relaxing, comfortable and the food was delicious. The service was excellent, the prices were reflected in the quality of the food and service.
We spent a considerable amount of time over lunch and at no point did we feel rushed.
Highly recommend Shadow Lawn Inn and look forward to celebrating my wedding anniversary there in the near future.

Had a wonderful time last night, we wanted to say good bye to some friends who were moving away, in these times it’s difficult to get together. Shadow lawn was able to set us up in a lovely room that allowed social distancing. The service and food was excellent it was a great night.

Thoroughly enjoyed an Impromptu dinner with a friend at the Robertson Friday night. Our meals were delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere lovely. Each item on my plate was cooked to perfection, including the chicken. The sauces were distinctly flavourful, with a thoughtful variety of vegetables. I’ll be returning.

Tastefully appointed and delicious meals, warm hospitable environment, lovely events held there. A real jewel in the picturesque town of Rothesay.

I had a relaxing few days at the Shadow Lawn this past week. The staff was amazing. Highlight for me was a 5 course meal with wine pairings.

The service at the Robertson Restaurant was optimum. The menu selection was stellar especially if you like something with loads of flavor and flare and want to steer away from fast or deep fried foods. Prices very affordable and such a quaint and clean establishment. Highly recommended. Sticky date pudding on the dessert menu is perfect for sharing as well. We definetely will be back maybe to book a room next time.

The venue was breathtaking, and the food was the best I’ve ever had! You ensured all of our guests had a night and meal to remember, and treated us all with such kindness. Spectacularly Beautiful old mansion with well appointed rooms and a restaurant that must be destination dining in the area. Service staff was attentive, cordial and unobstrusive. I will definitely come back again!

We had our wedding at Shadow Lawn Inn four weeks ago and it was the most magical evening of my life. My husband’s family came from BC and they were so impressed with the quality of the hospitality and food. Their every need was looked after. Jamie and the staff went above and beyond.
Our wedding night was incredible! The Robertson room looked amazing. And the meal was incredible. That night after the festivities died down, one of the amazing waitstaff, Peter, noticed that my husband and I never got a chance to try our cake and sent us up cake. So so thoughtful. We love Shadow Lawn and would do it again in a heartbeat! I honestly can’t wait to go back just to eat again hha. Yum.

They really know how to motivate employees! It’s simple. Appreciation! I recommend this establishment for both the dining experience and as an employer!

My wedding day wouldn't have been the same without Shadow Lawn Inn. Jamie and all of the staff were fabulous and so easy to work with. From hosting my beautiful wedding shower, to getting ready in one of the suites on the day of, to the most delicious meal that my guests are still talking about, this venue was nothing short of perfection. I couldn't be happier with my overall wedding experience at Shadow Lawn Inn and I look forward to celebrating there for many years to come.

No other way to say it. I love the Shadow Lawn Inn. The new restaurant (new several years ago) is trendy, serves exquisite fare, the staff are pleasant and engaging with just a hint of formality. Relax, be indulged. Enjoy a lunch or dinner, a glass of wine. When I am in Saint John, if it is possible at all, I dine or stay at the Shadow Lawn.

Had lunch here. Ordered the seafood crepe with beet salad. Delicious. Service was great too.

Nice older space for groups under 150. Food was great. Air conditioned comfort, great outdoor space as well.

Venue was lovely and historic. Had an extra large foyer with a beautiful staircase. The washroom was a tiny closet off the bar room. Didn't even realize it was a washroom at first. The staff were wonderful! The hors d'oeuvres were delicious and plentiful. We were there for a high school reunion with around 85 people and it was an excellent venue.

Second time here. Bedroom wonderful. Bed very comfy. Beautiful establishment. Very disappointed in the service. Both breakfast and dinner.

Wonderful Easter brunch and trully great service. Greated at the door and seated right away. The selections were prepared beautifully and the atmosphere is charming. 5 stars.

I ordered the "trust the chef" for dinner and I really enjoyed it. The Inn is located in a nice area, there's a park nearby if you want to go for a walk. It's an old house, nice atmosphere.

My husband and I would like to thank Jamie and his wonderful staff for treating us all as family. We can't say enough about this magical place. My daughters wedding day was just that Magical. The entire staff was extraordinary, a special thanks goes out to Natasha, she was a helpful calming presence the entire day, she went over and above of anything we could have ever expected. The meal was delicious from presentation to taste. The venue was beautiful and romantic, the long rooms new decor was perfect for the day for sure. Thank You All for creating such a lovely day for our beautiful daughter.

Was there for a business lunch. Food was great… especially the butternut squash soup! The building and deco took me back 100 years. Very nice!

Love this place. Stayed here for a couple of weeks while moving to town. I will recommend this to anybody. Restaurant also is superb!

We've been enjoying a girls' Christmas lunch here for years. Never disappointed! Lovely decor, friendly staff and delicious food. Who could ask for more?!

My family stayed overnight for a wedding at the Inn. Rooms were clean and spacious and charming. Breakfast was very good, staff friendly and attentive. A beautiful venure for a wedding. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Most recently went for Mother's Day. Everything on the menu was delicious (we were a large enough group that all items on the fixed menu were ordered by at least one person). Staff was, as they always are, very professional, friendly, and helpful.

Beautiful decor in the restaurant. Good food, though we received a small cup of soup in a very large bowl which was gone in a few spoonfuls. Never had the opportunity to stay there, but the owners are lovely and they have a beautiful inn. I only ever hear good things. Very charming!

Dropped by Shadow Lawn Inn with my mother for an impromptu lunch at their Side Door café. Wonderful service and the food was delicious! They always have something a little different. Already planning a return visit.

Great accommodations! Food is consistently great.

Went with a large group of coworkers and had a choice of steak, salmon or chicken with soup or salad appetizer and choice of 3 amazing desserts. The steak was one of the best striploins I have had, and was juicy and cooked perfectly rare as I ordered. I had a mixed green salad that was served with a fine vinaigrette and for dessert I had the sticky date cake with a bit of ice cream which was really light and just the right amount of sweetness. Service was fast and friendly. Servers even happily answered my questions about this 100+ year old historic property.

Great service and delicious food. You can't go wrong.
