Beautiful place, wonderful hostess, beautiful home and wonderful breakfast. It was perfect.

Very friendly people here. It's incredibly clean and very well kept. It has larger and better quality rooms than a hotel for less. I can definitely tell that the people who live here put in lots of effort for their guests. I love the style of the house and how they use it to their advantages with the decor. It is perfect if you like older-styled houses. Great for kids as well. It's also very close to town where many things are located. The location is very beautiful and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Food is amazing. Everyone should go!

A feel-right-at-home experience at Four Winds Bed and Breakfast. We've visited several B&B's throughout the years, but Four Winds was by the far the most comfortable and welcoming. We had a large, family suite which was beautiful and completely stocked with everything we could possibly need. Beautiful furnishings and a lovely view of the water from our bow window. Lisa is the perfect hostess, warm and fun! Congrats on your new adventure, John and Lisa! We hope to return someday.

We absolutely loved our stay at four winds b&b. The gorgeous views, beautiful family suite and house and lovely attentive hosts made the trip. Lisa and Jon welcomed us in and made it feel like we were home. Waking up to the sights and smell of the salt water was therapeutic. Our daughter was asking "when can we come back "before we even left! We will be booking again and you should too.

I have known the proprietors of Four Winds for a decade, and had the pleasure of their hospitality many times. Lisa is warm, reliable, fun and thoughtful hostess, with the highest standards in all she does. From the details of every room, to making everyone feel relaxed, to delicious meals. Lisa grew up in Newfoundland but has stayed in hotels around the world as a first-class business, so she knows what gold standard is. Love these folks.

I stayed an incredible week at Four Winds during their off-season. It provided a beautiful and serene retreat even in the cold March weather. I would highly recommend the Purple Room for its large windows and morning views. You can sit in the sofa surrounded by windows, watching the bay literally glisten in the sun. Upstairs and down, the house is filled with windows, letting you enjoy the cozy inside and verdant outside at the same time. The window seat in the upper hall and the one in the breakfast area are two of my favorite spots. Jon and Lisa have done a wonderful job seamlessly integrating their renovations with the beautiful old bones of the house. Each bedroom and sitting room has a unique character that will make you feel at home. Care has been taken with the smallest details, making the rooms seem simultaneously like an old family house and a much more expensive hotel. As hosts, Jon and Lisa are attentive but not intrusive. Their love of Four Winds is obvious and contagious, and they are knowledgeable of surrounding towns, shops, and day trips. There are plenty of reasons, however, not to leave the property at all: the long porch, the path down to the water, the seclusion that makes you feel like you're on your own island. Book this gem while you can. I can't wait for my next visit.
