We had a small issue with our reservations and the staff went above and beyond to help us figure something out!

Nice little inn with clean rooms and a good dinner in restaurant.

Fantastic stay! Comfortable beds, nice duvets, rooms were clean and a nice warm temperature for our arrival. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating — Thank you so much for having us :)

Staff were unavailable and unwelcoming. Only one pillow per person. Staff were resistant to providing a coffee packet for room. We stayed 2 nights. Sink faucets reversed. Worn appearance. Small bathroom. Hot water in sink, but cold showers. Ice machine outside door made noise all night. No staff had any interest or ability to solve even the slightest problem. Management refuses to return our calls. Advertised as warm and welcoming but we found it to be the exact opposite. No choice except to warn others of place. Expensive for what we got.

This was an acceptable basic motel in central St. Anthony. The accomodations were basic and clean but somewhat plain — for example, no fridge or microwave. A good jumping-off spot for local activities. I would stay here again but wouldn't seek it out.

We didn’t make reservations for St Anthony and this was the only hotel available. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Probably the smallest bathroom I have ever had in a motel! Adequate amenities.

Hubby and I stayed here in June 2024. Our room was lovely with double beds, microwave, fridge, clean bathroom. Only complaint was that it was hard to set the thermostat as it had no numbers and we couldn't get it to cool down. We finally opened a window. We had supper at the restaurant there and enjoyed it. We especially liked the dessert which was Carrot Cake topped with Cream Cheese icing and Partridge Berries. Yum!

Absolutely amazing motel. We spent 7 nights there and we felt like at home from the first moment when Sheri welcomed us. Absolutely amazing, welcoming and helpful staff, very clean, restaurant on premises, malls and all shops literally around the corner. In short, amazing! We have already visited dozens of models across Canada and this one was absolutely top. We'll be back! Thank you Haven Inn!

The Inn would probably be rated a 3-star, but the people were amazingly friendly in a real sort of way. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fare, but served "Toutins" — a traditional type of fried bread.
Rates for the Inn were very reasonable and location was good to see all the local sites and Lance Aux Meadows two historic sites.
On our last morning we had to leave early but were met at the door by a staff from the restaurant to give us some Toutins for the road. She came in early to make them for us … typical of the friendly staff.

Haven Inn — what a great place. Only been here an hour and feel like we know everyone. Dog friendly with a dog park right across the street to let your traveling companions play.

Didn’t have a pet friendly room available but offered us a room for a small upcharge.

Dinner was great cod for me and Jeff got the fish platter. Tried Cod tongue for the 1st time. A bit salty but you should try them if you come. I describe them as the “Bacon” of the Cod.
Clean room, comfy bed, quiet and VERY accommodating-wish we could stay again. Maybe someday.

This was a very good hotel on our tour — everything we needed, except air conditioning. There was an overhead fan and a portable fan in the room, so it was fairly comfortable. We did appreciate that the room was very clean. What seems to be most memorable is the use of ramps instead of stairs, very handy for our 'senior' tour, and for hauling luggage.
The bathroom looks to have been recently renovated with a new toilet and a full countertop, though had fewer toiletries than most. The beds were very comfortable. The room included a small fridge, bedside clock, a nice desk but a rather small TV — hard to watch from the bed. We liked the extra table and chair, plus the good lighting with both overhead and wall lamps. We noted that this hotel did have an ice machine. The internet connection was very slow.
Nearby there is a Timmie's, a variety store, Foodland and an Irving Station — a great convenience.
The restaurant meals for both breakfast and dinner here were excellent. It would definitely get a higher rating!

We were greeted with a very warm welcome and processed very quickly. The rooms are clean, tidy and has been updated with a soaker tub. The super double which is a longer version of a standard double, being 6 ft 2 inches was great. Tomorrow we'll be checking the restaurant which has a decent menu and the lounge.

This is a decent place to stay but there is nothing special about it.
The Haven Inn is very dated. The room was large and had a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights.
There is a restaurant onsite which was good for breakfast. There aren't a lot of options for meals in St Anthony so having a restaurant onsite was a plus.
The room was downstairs at ground level and had a window but still it was quite dark. Many rooms we passed seemed to have no natural light at all. The bedspreads were horrendous floral affairs. The bathroom was clean but clearly in need of a refurbishment.
On our first day, our room was not made up because we had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on… until 10 am! That certainly gave them plenty of time to go back and clean our room but that did not happen. The front desk staff were not terribly friendly but not unpleasant.
There was an added marketing charge on our bill which I didn't catch at the time. These charges were not mentioned in our quoted rate nor were they government taxes.
Overall, I would not recommend this place but if you have no other options, it is safe and clean.

Stayed here for a medical appointment and when we arrived it was super stormy and the power went out literally as we walked in the door. The lady at the front desk was wonderful made us feel like family and welcomed us down to the fire to keep warm. Needless to stay it was a memorable trip but our room was excellent… clean and beds were super comfortable. Room 216 was perfect.

Staff are amazing and so friendly. The restaurant feels like home and the partridge berry carrot cake is absolutely unbelievable!

We visit the haven inn today excellent service, food was delicious & staff was amazing ☺️ can’t wait to visit again.

Rooms were clean and had a fan. Food at their restaurant was delicious and service was terrific.
