What a delightful place. Everything is very well maintained. The cabins, the beach, the docks with sitting area, all were top notch.

First time at this resort on a fishing trip. I'll be back next year.
Fishing was real good.
Darren and Sarah keep everything from cottages to their boats real clean and maintained.

Friendly staff. Huge lobby was decorated for Christmas. Rooms are decent. Nothing that has been mentioned in previous posts. Big room with a balcony overlooking nature. The price point was great.

I remember this hotel from it's great days. It's still on the post-pandemic recovery path. Much work to be done yet. It's convenient for me, clean, affordable. Rooms are large and well appointed.

We booked my son and his young family in here last minute after an issue at another hotel. The rooms were very clean, the service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for 4 nights and it was very pleasant. The room I stayed in was quiet, and clean. I felt very relaxed and comfortable here.

I've been staying here for the past couple of years and have enjoyed my time here very much. I'm here for work and stay 2-3 months at a time.

These Cottages are on Lake Nippissing with an awesome view. Staff is friendly, helpful and always there to assist. This place is Pet friendly too.

Great little hotel. Prices is very good. Clean rooms and comfy beds breakfast was fantastic.
Loved that it was pet friendly as we got stranded in north bay due to highway closures for a winter storm.

Location was good for us, it was quiet and the rooms were clean. I wish there was a double queen option for rooms but it was still a comfortable stay.

Second time visiting this location the place is nice and clean and comfortable. It’s a nice place where you can park outside your room.

Wow! What an amazing find. This hotel is spotless. Very clean and welcoming rooms. I stay in a lot of hotels for business travel and this place, by far, outdoes the newer and bigger chains of hotels.

We like travelling mid-week off season, so here we are again!
BW North Bay is on our calender every spring. We love this place.

We had some initial confusion because we booked through Hotels. Com and the hotel cancelled our reservation.

The staff are very friendly, willing to help and go above and beyond. The breakfast is fantastic, better than other hotels. Clean and comfortable rooms.

I highly recommend Comfort Inn Lakeshore — North Bay. Fair prices, exemplary staff, and comfortable rooms. The 'free' breakfast is the cherry on the cake.

Cozy bed dog friendly. Our dog doesn't like mirrors he's a rescue and the front desk was happy to try to help. For the money and the area you cant go wrong.

The customer service representative Craig I think his name was was friendly and absolute a blast to speak with.

Very friendly service. Very clean rooms. These are people who clearly care about their business and their customers' comfort. Service was super friendly.

The Inn keepers were so pleasant to deal with. The room was spotless and smelled great. The outside of inn was neat and clean… each room had a bench outside you could sit on and enjoy some quiet time.

Beautiful spot for a couples get away nice lake front view rooms were beautiful and the Jacuzzi were spacious highly recommend.

Love going here for the ice fishing opener every year. The rates arent bad, the service and breakfast is fantastic and its clean and good quality for your money and they allow pets!

When arriving from a long drive the front desk was a women who was very nice and friendly. She was fast at checking us in.

The perfect spot for a girls weekend. Cute rooms, comfy bed, perfectly spacious for 5 girls! The beach front hangout area was the cherry on top. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend.

Very cute little place, and well priced. Loved the vibe of the cabin. Spacious. Very clean and beds are very comfortable. Fully stocked with all we needed for the weekend.

It would be hard to beat the location, right on Lake Nipissing. Incredible sunrises, lots of activities on the water, direct access to a beach that stretches to the nearby conservation area.

Little places like this are lost gems! Sure it’s old… bathroom is 50’s (which I like) and rest is, well… not modern. But it’s right on the lake!

We have not stayed in the rooms but they are all being renovated. The campground is great, well run and right in town.

The staff here are really good. Super friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel is directly on the snowmobile trail, making it a very convenient place to stay. It's close to restaurants.

This hotel was average. We stayed at 3 different Quality Inns on our nothern Ontario road trip.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had lunch in the breakfast area and needed a microwave to warm up our leftovers. They delivered us a microwave to use.

Rooms were spacious and in good condition. Staff was friendly and inviting. No issues with any aspect of check in, check out or getting a replacement card when one was lost.

We just got back to Niagara from a 4 night stay. I honestly don't understand the critics here. We had a very clean bedroom and bath, the bed and the pillows were so comfortable.

Decent enough hotel. We stay in our camper regularly but it's been leaking (no thanks to the repairs we got at Tin Can Ranch near Kitchener but another tale).

A spotlessly clean hotel located within walking distance to downtown and the lakeshore. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room spacious, comfortable and well appointed.

My son attended Teacher's College at Nipissing University and Homewood Suites was the best option to accommodate the student's schedule consisting of in classroom courses as well as the practicum

Clean rooms. Bang for your buck. Great pool and gym facilities with everything you need.

The room was small but very clean. Some might find it too clean and the smell of cleaners too strong. But it was a good bed, good sleep and the person at the front desk very friendly.

Very convenient for a one-night solo stay in North Bay. Excellent value as well. Great for a summer stay to take advantage of the space you get.

Perfect for attending an event at Nipissing U. Bare bones but clean and comfortable enough.

It’s a bit outside the main downtown area, but still just a five-minute drive away. The family that owns it is very accommodating.

What a great little spot. Right off the highway. Rooms were super clean and large. Bathroom was wonderful. After 10 hours driving the jacuzzi tub was a wonderful surprise. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 2 nights of ice fishing. Perfect setup in the cottage for 6 guys clean, warm, and comfy. Caught some nice walleye and had a blast.

Just back from a fishing trip to Sand Bay cottages. Bungalow was great with more than enough room for our group. Huts were spacious and warm. Jeff and the hut crew made sure we were on fish.

Great location for work and with it being on the outskirts of town, there isn’t a lot of city noise.

Voyageur Quest Log Cabin Christmas was absolutely magical. An idyllic winter escape shared with wonderful people from all over the world.

We had the most wonderful weekend at the logcabin in the middle of beautiful nature and wildlife.

This was our second time at Top of Algonquin Bed and Breakfast. We came last year at the same time. Rick and Colleen are wonderful hosts! They are friendly, knowledgeable and amazing cooks.

We stayed with Rick and Colleen in mid June 2025. They are very friendly and accommodating hosts. The location was quiet and perfect for a good nights rest.

Nicole and Rey were wonderful during my whole stay. They were very accommodating and considerate — always checked in on us every mealtime. Will definitely tell others about those resort.

Came up to this quaint cottage resort a few weeks ago with family and friends, and had a great time disconnecting from the world.

Had a great stay at Algonquin Motel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made the whole experience really relaxing.

Reasonably clean room. Not very well maintained but tolerable. Location is good, near the highway exit. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I would stop there again.

I come here with my friend for ATV and Snow mobile rides a few times a year, and it is always great!

First and foremost it's clean, I mean the floors are white socks clean! This was our 2nd stay at the resort and we were not disappointed.

We stayed at the Caswell again for our yearly cousins reunion.

Very well hosted by Mr. Neel, amazing place, close to nature.
Must visit for nature lovers.
Felt like home as Mr. Neel provided us with whatever we asked for.
