Everyone gives five stars on things that meet expectations. Still Point is getting five stars because they far exceeded expectations and went above and beyond for us. They were generous and helpful, even when the issue was my own mistake, and I cannot tell you how great they were about it. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area I wouldn't even consider any place besides Still Point Lodge. And you shouldn't either.

Gorgeous Location! And wonderfully friendly, helpful hosts. My daughter and I stayed in Riverview Cottage in September. This cottage was spacious and comfortable, with 2 bedrooms, large bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The porch gave us a tranquil space, with a wide, beautiful view of the river. Cabins are far enough apart to give each one some privacy and it couldn't have been a more peaceful and quiet environment. Access to trails, both for walking and running are close, as is access to beach. Still Point's location is also very convenient to anything you'd want to do in this area. Our only regret was staying only 2 nights. There is so much to experience in this area and this location is perfect. This was one of our favorite lodgings in all of our travels through Nova Scotia.

While travelling the east coast, we stayed 3 nights in Eagle View cottage. We were blown away by everything about this cottage. It was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. All the amenities you could need were right here. This cottage is perfect for 2 couples. Private large bedrooms each with a full ensuite. The view from the balcony overlooking the Bay of Fundy was so beautiful and the sunsets were spectacular As we stood on the deck with our host Laura, we were pleasantly surprised to be visited by a couple of eagles. What a welcoming that was! Many times as we sat on the deck, the eagles made their appearance. Check in and check out was very easy. I wish we could have stay longer. Thank you Laura & Gavin!

A fantastic place to land after flying into the region. Gavin and Laura were wonderful to speak with, and accommodating in anything they could help us with. We felt that our toddler was safe on the grounds (with us), and the property was GORGEOUS! We stayed in Cabin — it had everything we needed. We will absolutely be returning again.

Stayed for a few days in July 2024. Best stay we've had in a long time. Cottage was emasculate, very well equipped, not to mention the unmatched bay view. You can tell the owner operators have put a lot of attention to detail and care into this. A warm and friendly reception to boot.

We only stayed for one night because of a cancellation elsewhere, had a lovely two bedroom two bath in the main house. The owners helped us out of a jam and were very kind. Sweet location, maybe a 15m drive into Digby for food.

I stayed 2 nights in one of the smaller units.
The Good.
1. An amazing location with stunning views out to Digby, the Annapolis Basin and Bear River. Lots of trails to walk on and to explore the grounds, including a lovely beach. A great place to relax.
2. The owners were very friendly and provided helpful tips on places to eat and places to go.
3. The little cottage had a lovely deck overlooking the foliage in full Fall colours.
4. The bedroom and sitting room were clean. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. Internet and TV were fine.
The Bad.
1. The kitchen area was very dated and dark. I think other units may more recently developed. There wasn't any water or a coffee machine, which would be nice given the distance to the nearest shops.
2. There is no signage from the main road, so not the easiest place to find.
Overall.
A stunning location and great place to relax or explore this beautiful area. A few extra touches would have just made thjngs perfect. Would happily recommend.

Very scenic and restful. The tide changes are amazing as well as the view of Digby across the bay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. There are also several trails, including one that leads down to the beach.

Our stay at Still Point was an absolute delight! Beautiful property and surrounding area, plus incredible views. The cabin was clean and bright and had everything we could have possibly needed. And the hosts were top-notch! Very accommodating, lovely people. I highly recommend — 10/10 amazing stay! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot! Definitely coming back. Beds were comfy and the view was devine. Laura was delightful as a host and made our stay memorable.
Eagle view could use a couple more large glasses for beer, a couple larger bowls for dinner sides and a plastic tray for carrying BBQ stuff out to the deck. Just stuff from the dollar store would be perfect!

Of all the places we stayed in Nova Scotia, this was our favourite — everything was perfect from accommodation, welcome, location to views and absolute tranquility of the place. The guys that run the place are fab. I have nothing negative I can say about this place, it’s worth every penny. We initially planned to stay for 2 nights but asked for a third as we loved it so much. If we go back that way, we’d definitely be looking to stay again. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Heron cottage, and my husband and I loved every moment of it! Gavin and Laura were perfect hosts, attentive but not intrusive, and knowledgeable about the area. The cottage was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We had our own little deck overlooking the water — stunning sunsets! It was cool but sunny weather; the walk along the beach during low tide was brisk but we enjoyed the scenery and watching the clam diggers! We did not take advantage of it, but there was plenty of chopped wood for a fire in the indoor fireplace, or the outside fire pit. Highly recommend this property :)

I stayed in the Sumac cottage, a sweet cottage with one bedroom, living room, kitchen, and patio area. Wonderful views from every window. I couldn't believe how clean everything was! A holiday in itself with great viewing deck to the sea or Annapolis basin, the grounds are lovely with lots of walking trails into the woods or to the beach. Great location close to Annapolis Royal, Digby and to the Replica House of Maude Lewis! Lovely stay!

Still Point is a little slice of heaven. The owners are absolutely wonderful, kind, helpful, accommodating, interesting. It’s clean and ohhhhh such Beautiful scenery. Highly highly recommend. Thankyou for such a terrific experience. Bryan and Debbie from Ontario.

10/10, cannot overstate how thrilled we were with our stay at Still Point. We stayed in Sumac Cottage for several nights and were very happy with both the location (10mins to Digby, 1hr to Brier Island with amazing whale watching) and the property (well-maintained, well mapped). The cottage itself was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a well equipped kitchen and a wraparound deck. The bed was very comfortable, and the cottage is just the right size for two people. The cottage itself has a partial view of the water from the kitchen/deck, and walking outside for the full panoramic sunset views was one of our highlights. We didn't walk many of the trails but those we saw had great signage, the beach is a short walk away and is best for seashell finding/exploring at low tide. Laura and Gavin were excellent hosts, very friendly and quick to be generous. We will definitely be returning!

I spent the night at Still Point on Friday, June 24th. Although we arrived late in the evening, we were greeted by Laura who did an amazing job of making us feel welcome and showing us our lodging. We had the top floor of the main building which was beautiful and spotless! The grounds are serene and well kept. If you're wondering where to stay in the area please consider Still Point, you won't be disappointed.
