Beautiful place to visit! We've traveled all over the world and we are still amazed at the beauty of our own back yard! What a beautiful place we live in!

The new ownership promised a stewardship, but the changes reflect anything but. Decline in service, atmosphere, and simply no longer the Rossmount that earned a reputation for best in class. The food is fine, it’s just no longer an experience.

This is our must go to for a nice and romantic date night. The food is always consistently excellent and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service is professional, nice and courteous.

We had dinner here as recommended by a friend. The service, food and ambiance were very enjoyable. It was our first time to St Andrews and our dinner experience here made the trip memorable!

I discovered this little hotel when looking for Canadian summer travel options. I’m happy to say I found a great place to stay and visit again. The rooms are small but tasteful and clean, the environment is quiet, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It’s a beautiful property and I would be happy to go back again.

We booked months in advance and it was the highlight of our trip to St. Andrews. The chef made us an amazing 5-star 3 — course meal for supper and the bed was quite comfortable. We also loved the poolside seating in the evening which had great ambiance for spending time with family. We will be back again for sure!

The dinner was the most memorable experience. Everything was so good. I am still savoring the dinner. Thank you all for a very special evening. 😘❤️

Another amazing stay here at the Rossmount. We lounged by the pool for the afternoon then hade a delicious meal, and I mean delicious, that evening. Every bite is superb, so fresh. We can't wait to come again next year!

We visited the Rossmount Inn 20 years ago with our children and just had the opportunity to return last week. We had an absolutely fabulous stay. Our room was perfect with a beautiful view of the pool. Very comfortable accommodations. We had delicious breakfasts each morning and had dinner twice during our stay. The food and drinks were outstanding, and the service was top notch. We walked up the path to the top of the mountain with spectacular views. The inn and the grounds were immaculate and beautiful. Thank you to Rossmount Inn for a wonderful vacation! Definitely recommend!

If you’re looking to relax and have a great meal, this is the place. Great romantic getaway. Make sure to take a walk up the trail in the back to the top of the mountain. The view is spectacular and worth the hike.

The grounds are stunning, and the service was lovely. Our only complaint was that our room was right above the kitchen and until about midnight we heard nothing but loud clanking and crashing/banging as clean up was done. If you are open to staying in a more traditional style b&b room — with no real amenities in the room (no fridge, no kettle etc) then you will likely be fine. But if those type of amenities are important to you, I’d skip the overnight stay here. The food is the best I’ve had in NB, and the pool was perfect.

The Rossmount Inn is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Canada. The food is consistently outstanding, with every dish prepared perfectly. The lobster cocktail, in particular, is absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The setting is charming, the service is warm and attentive, and the overall experience is unforgettable. A true gem.

Overall an ok visit … we've been before but unfortunately this time the experience was negatively influenced by some inconsiderate guests who opted to convene a get together in the corridor until 1 am … being boh loud and frankly inappropriate. This is not reflective of the Inn mind you … and they apologized for the guest's behaviour but the net result was a bit of a frustrating experience. We will return again and give it another chance and hope not to experience this again. The Inn even had signs posted regarding noise but evidently some people are incapable of reading or simply too disrespectful to care about others.

In the past 5 days, we had 2 fantastic evening meals and 1 breakfast at this FABULOUS location. The menu is very upmarket, innovative, using high quality (whenever possible) ingredients. The atmosphere in this heritage mansion is super relaxing, simple with plenty attention to detail. The service is so very attentive. Arrive early or stay later and take a stroll up the hill to appreciate the scenery and the garden. I would give it more stars if that would be possible.

Got the dinner and overnight package.
Dinner superb with delicious courses and attentive wait staff.
Breakfast good. Prepackaged Kraft jams on table was disappointment.
Do know that the whole package has an automatic 15% gratuity added. That includes the room. We didn’t agree with this.
Room needs updates badly. It was a big contrast to the faultless meal.
Carpet old with stains. Grout needs bleach. Caulking old and peeling around sink fixtures and shower stall.
Empty wall spaces cry out for local art.
Window treatments outdated and sad.
Take earplugs as the walls are thin. It’s an older building so this is understandable.
The bed was very comfortable.
Be sure to go up Chamcook Mtn if you can. Well worth the short hike.
Rossmount could be a weekend destination place if rooms matched the standards of the day.

If you are looking for a fine dining experience you should plan a meal at the cozy dining room at the Rossmount Inn. We were a party of six visiting for the first time and were treated to an excellent meal with great service and excellent food. Our server Chris was outstanding in suggesting slight modifications to the menu offerings based on input from the group. He also handled the vegan diner in our group expertly and arranged for the chef to create a “surprise” vegan option that arrived at the table to a round of oohs and aahs from the non vegan diners. Desert and wine selection was excellent as well. Overall a lovely dinner in a cozy environment with great food that was expertly presented and served. Highly recommend.

Always a favourite place of ours but this time was even nicer. We had our one year old granddaughter with us and she was a bit unsettled. Without been asked, the waitress brought the baby a small bowl of perfectly steamed wee carrots which the baby ate with enthusiasm. Lovely, homey, touch. Thanks to all the staff. Update — checked my bill. We were charged extra for the baby’s carrots. Bit of o buzz buster. So much for the homey touch.
