We’ve been here a few times and are seriously impressed with the new team.
Krista and Jonathan are the difference. Under their management, this place has a completely different feel. From the moment you walk in, you can sense the pride and care. Krista is genuinely warm and welcoming, and Jonathan puts real thought and intention into every plate that comes out of the kitchen.
The burger was outstanding. Thick, juicy, and cooked perfectly, topped with crispy bacon, fresh tomato, red onion, and pickles on a soft toasted bun that held together beautifully. The house cut fries were golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and clearly made fresh.
We went back for the butter chicken special and it was off the charts. Prepped for days and made authentically, the sauce was rich, layered, and full of depth. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. It is not something you expect to find in a small town spot, and it absolutely delivered.
Unmatched hospitality. True small town comfort. Cloyne is lucky to have them! We will absolutely be back.

Krista and Johnny are amazing. Incredible food, The bar has a great atmosphere, will come here every weekend I'm up as long as they are here.

We showed up late at night after a long day, broke down sleds and running out of gas. They were very nice and friendly even reopened the kitchen to make us something to eat while getting the room ready. The rooms were nice and clean and got to have a nice breakfast the next morning. Overall it was a great experience would recommend and would come back.

Stopped in for lunch and had a club sandwich with the best fries I've had in Canada ub decades. They were quite obviously fresh cut potatoes fried to perfection and equally obviously right out of the fryer. I'll be back on basis of the fries themselves.

Went for Whiskey night and tried some delicious drinks and had the nacho wontons which was fantastic! Service was amazing, food and drinks were delicious and it was great atmosphere all around. Big thank you to Olivia, Krista and Johnny who made us feel welcome and took great care of us! Look forward to going again.

Cute little spot. My server was very friendly. I had drinks there with a friend and the drinks were good! The music was nice, the bathrooms were clean and they have a cat walking around near the entrance which is always a plus lol I will definitely be coming back!

We as a group of 6 had dinner here on Halloween night!
We are not local to this area so we chose this place as per ads and recommendations.
The restaurant side was clean and the bar side was nice.
Our server was great. And she was also our cook and our bartender! The restaurant had a lack of staff this evening but this server did her best and still gave us a great dinner!
There was a few other guests as well but e.
Everyone was very patient and understanding of the situation.
We would recommend a stop here if passing through!

Great spot, the food was awesome. The rooms, I did not experience myself. The staff was very friendly and handled the bustling night life accordingly (Playoff Jays Game). Krista has only been there a short time but is seeming to make some good changes. Dont let past reviews reflect how far the business has came.

So pleased with our recent stay at Lakeside Inn Restaurant & Bar. The staff were friendly, caring, and we were definitely wowed with the tasteful room renovations right down to the detachable magnetic shower head! The Inn is in a continual upgrade mode with restaurant and lounge services. Other close by amenities are right across the road offering everything from fuel to a range of confectionary items. Great place to stay in this beautiful community.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms were quite nice and service was really friendly. Rooms used electronic locks with codes instead of keys which was convent for a group. Price was right & I would stay here again.

Overall the room was great for the price. The photo on the website was identical to what our room was. No filters or weird perspectives. It'll be what you see.
Newly renovated. As stated on other reviews, some renos were not done yet (specifically the tubs weren't replaced yet) so no surprises. The tubs are clean but have chips so no big deal. Rest of washroom was bright and clean. Beds were comfy and clean.
The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The on site cats who have around outside are hilarious — they keep trying to sneak in.
The food at the restaurant was good — this is a small town so they didn't have full staffing, so be patient. They are actively looking for more help but no luck yet.

The staff were super-friendly and accommodating of our last minute booking due to a change in plans. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would definitely recommend for anyone needing a place to stay in the area.

Great place to stay! Stayed while visiting Bon Echo Provincial Park. The lady working is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Best part of the stay was probably the cats who live nearby and love to greet all of the guests of the Inn.

We did not stay here, but we stopped to eat at the restaurant. Good serving sizes, reasonable prices. If you are passing through and need a place to eat, we recommend stopping in here!

Close to Bon Echo Park. The room is clean and spacious with a fridge and microwave. A nice place to stay if you prefer not to camp at the park.

The rooms in this motel are fine. My grandmother and I have stayed here twice — once a year ago, and again just recently. If there were other motel options in the area relative to the location we were needing to be close to, we would have gone somewhere else this time around. Last year we had issues as our room was on the top floor which is only accessible with many stairs. They told us at that time there was no other option for us. This time we booked specifically on what was supposed to be the bottom (I assumed main) floor. There is no main floor rooms, only bottom (stairs down) or top floor (stairs up). When we went to see if our room was ready around 3:40pm, we were told check in is at 4pm. I asked if she could check if our room was cleaned yet. I let her know we booked for the main floor and was told “there is no main floor, there is bottom and top and everyone was moved to the top floor tonight”. I told the worker that we specifically selected the bottom floor and she then got the cleaning lady to stop what she was doing and work on our room on the bottom floor. We were told it would be a 30-45 min wait. It was about 3:50pm at this point. So we confirmed that we could check in later in the evening and they said that was fine. When we arrived again around 9pm (we went to a friends cottage in the meantime) all of the parking spaces near the entrance were taken up. We had to park at the farthest end from the door. There is no designated disability parking.

Not sure how you can tell operating hours. Says on the door — but then it’s closed? Hit up Marble Lake Lodge if you’re looking for good, local food! Without the guessing game.
