Akhard Haus is the best guest house in Buea as of the moment based on my assessment. Located close to the second gate of the University of Buea. Quiet, clean and nice. Excellent staff.

Review of my stay at Akhard Haus, Molyko Buea (December 2025).
I was directed and baited by a friend who spent just a day at this location to try it out. Out of trust for this friend, I decided to give it a try. I ended up spending about 9 days at this location and frankly I LOVED IT.
First of all, it has a great location, serene and friendly environment.
Secondly, is not the most technologically advanced accomodation one can get in that area but fair to say, it stood out clearly in its own right. No water issues, no light issues, constant Wi-Fi with good signal, cable system allowed me watch just about anything I wanted too. For that amount of money, Akhard haus will be the place anytime I happen to be around and will encourage my friends to try it out.
Third, the few staff, very clean environment and good finishing of furniture etc is icing on the cake. Kudos to the management. Cameroon and Buea can also have good things, you guys are ontop of your game.
Fouth, this is just a suggestion for the management to think over. Mobility in Cameroon is a big issue, if the management can afford to get a rental standby vehicle, that could boast longer stay for tourist. During my stay, if such existed, I wouldn't have hesitated to hire for the period I was there.
In conclusion, Akhard haus far exceeded my expectations.
