I am very very very satisfied with this hotel and am now the second time there and certainly not the last time.

My family visited here often, but this visit was a terrible experience.
The room was very stinky and the cleaning was very poor. Overall, the number of employees seemed to be too low and the attitude was also passive and unkind, which did not fit the five star hotels. The morning buffet was also crowded with so many people, but the hotel did not expect it, so the my family couldn't eat properly because there were so many people using only one restaurant without opening other restaurants. The hotel's preparations seemed too insufficient.

But Buffet For Children Expensive. I think you Should charge From 10year up. You know 5 years old is too small, they don’t eat much.

Beautiful location, staff is nice. We had a great time!

Sadly I was only there for the day. It's a beautiful 5 * hotel situated on a yellow sandy beach which is kept immaculate, cleaned regularly. Offers excellent facilities I could not fault. However at the time of my visit the rest of the resort could only be described as a construction site — I could have been in a war zone — such a shame for the hotel as they work so hard to keep tip top. When construction finished I'd not hesitate to return.

Beach is wonderful. Service is VERY SLOW and unpredictable. Got one entree 15min after ordering, got second 75min after ordering. Would not recommend.

We loved it! An oasis amongst all the rubble. Lovely polite staff!

Hotel pool & grounds are nice but service in restaurants is lacking — I gave feedback, received half an apology & was told if they have what I was informed “ VIP” guests in, they get priority? I insisted that all paying guests should be treated as such!

Filthy — beach was partially cleaned most days but beach full of plastic & fishing debris.

I’m not recommend this hotel to other guest. The front desk staff behavior and attitude unacceptable they are very rude to the guest they never ever say hello welcome or good bye especially never ever smile. Also this morning the front desk staff can fighting with the guest. I wonder why this hotel 5star rent that kind of staff working for. Breakfast staff also very rude. To who it may concern.

Been here all the time when I come to Sihanouk over 10 years since this hotel just open.
Never been disappointed like this. The air-con not cool. I call them they said will come to check but no, they didn’t come.
Tonight my little daughter accidentally spilt water on the bed I ask them to change the bed sheet they said they will come, but bomb not come again.

Sotuated in a bulding up area the resort as a very nice view and swimming pool. Restaurant is excellent and personel are friendly and smiling. Easy acces to the beach. The beach its self is not impressive.

Room nice and they got friendly staffs. There is 24h room service which is a good point. This hotel got a private beach, nice and refresh. The beach is very clean good for people who would like to avoid the crowed placed. When you go into the sea you can leave your personal stuffs on the bench concern less about the thief.

Stayed in the sokha express. Room was very good but the bathroom was terrible. No power points. One Towel rail. And water every where as the shower was in the middle of the room. Over all the resort is over priced to suit the Chinese. Staff was fantastic.

Beside hotel there is a Good restaurant.

Stayed here for 3 days on January 2018, 100% clean and tidy rooms, with very nice pools and bars. The breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of options from oriental to continental. The only problem is the rooms are quite humid.

Their property stretches across 90% of the beach front. I suppose it wouldn't hurt them too much to do the public a service and keep the remaining 10% as clean as they keep their side of the beach.

A nice Beach Side Hotel but not on a 5 Star International level. However, if you look at it from a Cambodian prospective only, ok, I give them 5 Stars. The best parts of the hotel are their pool and of course their beach which is cleaned and maintained daily. Food is good but rather on the expensive side. If budget allows, check out their Lemongrass Restaurant, a romantic place for high quality dinner.

For the price paid, excellent. Stayed at the cheaper budget wing (bookable separately on Agoda), room rate was about US$40 per night. Room was quiet, a bit dark but as I only stayed for one night didn't notice it. No desk in the room and no shower cubicle, but again, this was no issue for a one night stay. All hotel facilities are shared among customers from both the main hotel and the budget one. This means the pool breakfast and casino are all accessible. Breakfast buffet was amazing, by far the best of any hotel I've stayed in Cambodia. I ate 5 full plates and if it wasn't for the fact I was full, would have gone for more. Dinner was nice too, a little pricey for Cambodia but worth it, especially the organic salad from Bokor mountain for US$6. Interesting mix of staff of various nationalities, including one Russian lady and a manager from Malaysia who previously worked at a hotel in Myanmar. He was very friendly and helpful. Would talk to all the guests at breakfast and help them with any issues they were having. Will be back again the future.

Great room, good breakfast choice, plenty of lounge chairs by the pool and beach. The staff is friendly and anxious the downtown area is noisy and dirty, restaurants are nothing special. For that there are game casinos to wave.

My first room was so filled with cigarette smoke, that my eyes hurt by just staying in it. Checked with reception, they said this is a non-smoking resort, but often, Chinese tourists would smoke in the room nonetheless. They changed my room to one that has no smell. Please do proper enforcement on smokers if this is indeed a non-smoking resort. I would prefer to have an option to make the room brighter.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I came here to relax in solitude and absolute silence. The huge territory of the hotel allows you to stay here without the need to enter the city. Where, as we know, construction is underway and noisy and dirty. Lemon Restaurant is a beautiful place on the beach with a romantic setting. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. I recommend it.

Now the hotel mainly has Chinese guests. Even in the breakfast room you hear Chinese songs. Sihanoukville is now Chinatown.

Great beach, perfect for R&R. Ocean wing rooms need refurbishment. Room 160 had cracked tiles and black mould in shower from lack of care and cleaning. Hotel aimed at the Chinese Market. Staff varies from wanting to help and cannot do enough for you to ignoring everyone. Would not stay here again.

The last oasis of Sihanoukville, the hotel is a village with 2 central bodies, and various cottages for a greater contact with nature, beautiful swimming pool, a sea and a beach that tell a past of enchanting place… visit it in slice, now mega hotels are Surround and the sea, do not want to balmeazione… a gem, dine at the restaurant lemongrass, excellent fish, atmosphere, if quiet romantic. Nb for breakfast prepare an assault on the seats, but then there is really everything!

I came from a nearby hotel and therefore cant rate the rooms, etc. And about the beach I can tell. Although the security of the Hotel Melteshit in a beautiful shape, but fetch attentive thieves on the beach a lot. They are easy to distinguish by a close look, Prikleivshemusja to your stamps and purses. The water in the sea is muddy because of the constant wave. If you want to clean, then go to the island Rong 30 minutes to bot. The hotel as a hotel is only too expensive, we are in the nearby for 30 dollars bungalow for three and with a lovely breakfast taken and linen change every day and water is free of charge with tea etc.

The foods was not great what we expected as 5* as well as the service from Restaurant the Manager and their staff's seem very relaxing and left customers waiting for served and even their impression as we reeled that dislike the way works. No smiling welcome to the customers what so ever or not even say good buy thanks you… etc. Other things when welcome drinks and the staff's just standing watching the customer rather welcome customer and proving the soft drinks as stated in our booking until we as for it the they rush a. D painc to brought the drinks for us.

The money is definitely not worth it. If you want to lie down on a chaise longue after the beach-be good-walk along the entire coastline until you find your cherished chaise longue. The water in the sea is muddy, the mask with itself to take meaning no. Wi-Fi Tupit unbearable, constantly disables, and 4g + does not work fundamentally. In the bathroom is not difficult to find someone's hair, and in our mini-bar did not have a bottle of vodka for $7. All cafes and restaurants from the main building are at a great distance. In general the last minus is compensated by good breakfast and supermarkets with low prices, to which a hand to serve.

Nice hotel with a very welcoming staff. The pool is large and quite deep. The children's Corner is a little small. Otherwise there is a rate (as well as rooms, I think) for Khmer. The rooms are spacious but very ageing. The cleanliness is average with bcp mold in the bathrooms.

Disgusting rooms of course the older breakfast is fine only for Chinese restaurants dearest cleaning by crap.

Beautiful hotel. Cheaper rooms a little run down. Meals are very nice but expensive when compared to the price in town. Fantastic pools and beach with a complete gym facility. All hosts within the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful hotel. A perfect welcome, amenities and excellent rooms too. A very rich and varied buffet, as well as a huge swimming pool with cinema screen above and deckchairs. To do nothing to spoil the staff is to small care.

A huge hotel complex with its own gambling casino, swimming pool, pool bar, sandy beach, spa & sauna area, fitness room, sun loungers, parasols, beach towels free, live music evening, bar, free shuttle bus to the city, however it is only a 4stars hotel U. No 5star Hotel.

Horrible, unhelpful staff, constant noise from construction, people spitting all over the grounds and right next to breakfast every morning. The only good thing about it is the spa Massively overpriced.

Very nice hotel with lovely staff, hotel is spread over a very large area so can be a bit hard dragging your stuff around with you too and from beach, breakfast, pool in 30c heat but they provide an electric car service to move you about if you choose. Beach is stunning very clean, food is good and rooms are nice and big. Only real thing that bugged me was the construction work going on around the hotel but it’s jobs for the locals and brings money into the country.

The menu is geared towards western travellers with very little emphasis on local cuisine. The air conditioner in our room was stuck on so we had to take the card out of the slot so we wouldn't freeze, 2 light bulbs were blown making for a very dark room and our toilet seat was broken and had to be careful we didn't fall off and the stench of stale cigarette smoke was foul. The restaurant staff were very slow and I had to ask for cutlery and service. On a positive note the beach is beautiful the front office staff are very attentive and the pool staff were also friendly and helpful. The breakfast variety was also very good.

Clear sea water, beautiful white sand, dream of Lanzao, pork ribs especially delicious, do not miss.

We tried 3 different hotels in Cambodia and comparing the ratio between price and service provided, this place was the worst. Staff was polite but slow. Hotel room looked great but at the second glance it was just a well hidden mess. There was a big bathtub but we could not use it because the water heater was not able to make enough hot water. Cleaner only changed the towels and made up the beds, no other cleaning was done all 5 days of our stay. Part of the hotel complex is still being built and the construction works from dusk to dawn, so it can get noisy. I am not saying this hotel is bad but they should either improve their services or go down with the price. I must not forget to mention that all food was delicious and very good quality.

Everything is old, on the beach Daily quest "Find free Shizlong" What to order on the beach is also not easy, as with towels, the level is clearly not 5 stars. Excellent Hotel but that loses a star for: air conditioning malfunctioning in the room suction fan broken bathroom mould in the shower towels sea not always available in the morning insufficient sun beds and umbrellas in the beach total absence of baskets x litter at the beach not to have rest in dollars or local currency staff of the lobby not always very good: The restaurant buffet breakfast The cleanliness (Service H 24) The estate of the green the overall aspect of the Resort.

The hotel is divided up into difference sections however they share the same facilities, restaurants spa etc. We stayed in a "water" chalet, which was one of the more expensive options. On arrival we were told about the construction work both on site and from neighbouring developments. Pre-warning at the time of booking should become part of the policy as so many people will have been disappointed at their 'luxury Christmas getaway. ' Huge concrete blocks. Heavy machinery. Noisy and an eyesore, not what you expect when you're paying several hundred dollars per night which by Cambodian standards is extremely high. I appreciate outside development is beyond the hotels control, but the huge construction within the resort is another thing altogether. The hotel actually offered to downgrade our room without compensation to move us away from the construction… it was a standard room in the hotel block, basic / fine just not what we'd booked and paid for — after a 3hour wait in reception we were finally put in an 'upgraded' chalet. Internally it was extremely inferior to our originally booking but there was a jacuzzi on the balcony which overlooked the swamp. We thought it would be romantic to have a Christmas jacuzzi together (in the dark to avoid the disappointment of the view) and with a glass of bubbles, however the water jets chucked out sewage and dirty water and bugs when it was turned on. Some upgrade! The interior of the chalet was like most of the hotel, tired.

Hotel was perfect. Service even better. If you like a good room, take Ocean Wing Deluxe. Breakfast was excellent. There is also free shuttle bus to the town, which in my opinion can travel bit often and to other parts of the small city as well. Resort territory is huge, but you can use buggy cars with drivers to move around. 3 great restaurant in territory etc. Only thing what can be better, is the Wi-Fi connection. Otherwise super hotel.

At least they clean this beach. Only the small easter corner is open to public. Private hotel owns the rest of beach. If you buy something you are very welcome to go in to middle of beach $$$ all about the. $. In cambodia.

A very nice modern resort with several bars & restaurants, a couple of nice swimming pool areas, and a large well-kept private beach. We stayed in one of the upper-end villas and it was beautiful — Asian style room with a hot tub in the middle and a TV opposite. Only issue was that the little lake it's built over looked quite dirty and spoiled the scenery somewhat. As expected everything is pretty expensive here (for Sihanoukville) but you're not too far from the main tourist area (Serendipity). If you're looking for a little luxury during your stay then stay at Sokha for sure.

Beautiful five. The reception has a Russian-speaking girl Anna, who will tell and help. Houses on the water are terrible-it's at home in the swamp. Camping are small houses and far from the pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Delicious burgers! Lemongrass Restaurant-can only go because of the view of the ocean. Service and portions are worse than in the main building. The Chinese restaurant is small. It is easier and more convenient to eat downstairs, where the main building and the pool. The pool is very nice. There is a children's slide and a children's pool.

Terrible food. I'm allergic to onions and bell peppers. Ordered typical mokorony without onions and pepper. Brought with pepper. Italian mokorony with bell pepper. Let's change. Waiting. Brought and forgotten to put fakache Italian baguette with garlic. Okay. I'm looking forward. It takes another 15 minutes to bring three baguettes and two buns. Having said that Fakache contains onions. Like they prepare them in advance. But could make a regular baguette with garlic ( ( ( (eating its tasteless mokorony with a bun. Because the baguette is rubber ( ( (terrible food for such a crazy money in this hotel. Level God. $190 a day. Imagine everything further.

An escape from real life sihanoukville, with prices to match. The place is excellent but day passes for $20 for the pool and the inflated food prices.

It's a slightly old resort. Good value for the facilities provided. Beach is kept very clean by the staff. Staff are incredibly helpful. Only problem was the cleanliness of restrooms.

Great resort more than 400 rooms a favourite for Chinese tourist and also has got an in house Casino open 24 hrs.

No hot water in our room. The price is only justified by the private beach. The rooms in the 3 stars building need to be renovated.

To whom it may concern, my name is Navneet sahota. I can from siem reap in morning flight. I checked in sokha beach resort sihanoukvilke at 1pm. They gave us different room as one which we booked earlier was not available. Room which they gave was lake view it was huge in size and only one small AC was there. Manager Mr. Kim gave us a room intentionally and later on after waiting for 1 and half hour in the room it was not getting cold. It's 4 pm right and still I have not taken lunch. Mr Kim on complaint told me due to maintenance there is only one AC so he put was in 40 degree temp to a room which is not ready with one AC. I am here on my honeymoon and wasted 4 hours without having lunch roaming Here and there on your cart looking for rooms. Then he shifted us to 328 room number where AC was not going down below 26 degree. Again they shifted us to 316 and temp is not going below 24. We are not able to sleep and our two days trip to this city is ruined I need proper explanation and need refund of my money and will talk to my travel agency not to recommend this hotel. I an going to put this feedback on travel sites.

It's a fourth star hotel, good design, good environment, fresh air, clean and next to the sea.

Very dirty water. Trash on the beach makes constantly. Crystal clear waters will not see. In no case do not take water bungalows. There's no water, there is a swamp with frogs and mosquitoes. And the stench is terrible. The hotel was clean. In dirty. The resort is not worth the money.
It makes sense to go only for fans of pobuhat′ and go to "massage". All. Attractions are no more. Fruit a lot. And sea foods in abundance. The people are friendly. Advise The Deck Restaurant, on the beach. Lunch from one main course + wine would cost 15-20 dollars. Dessert $ 5, $ 4 Latte, espresso $ 3. Cocktail raspberry Daiquiri, for example $ 5.
In for $ 10, you can eat very tightly.

So, in October 2014 we rested at Sokha Beach Resort in Sihanoukville. My impressions were not very pleasant. We had two people — my mother and me. On arrival we were put in a room on the 3rd floor. Smiling staff bowed and brought the suitcases. Everything went wonderfully. We laid out all the things and all the Luggage. When I wanted to use the safe, it was found that when there is no instruction manual. Had to call the employee to demonstrate, how to open and close the safe. Okay, have a safe figured out. We were about to leave the room and to get to the city, when suddenly it turned out that we do not have door lock. We called the wizard. 15 minutes for us no one was even after another call to reception were all in parallel. In the end I had to go to lobby and demand a room change. Barely, only after I asked to connect me with the General Manager, we were moved in adequate number. Frankly, for a 5 star room is not drawn. The standard layout and arrangement as in the hotel 4 stars. In the room we flew shower. At positioning itself in the highest rating, I believe, is not valid. Another negative point is the hotel there is NO CLINIC. When I hurt my hand, I helped the staff by the pool and at the reception I cute and smiling offered to take him to the hospital. Even minus one to the karma hotel. Pro pool — liked that the water was not felt chlorine.

Vacationing in Cambodia twice, and both times by choosing this hotel, it was not a mistake. Service at the highest level, the friendly staff, the food is delicious and varied. With regard to the beach, this is the only clean private beach in town.

I liked. The territory is big, people "resorbed" (holiday hours). The sea is unclear, but it is not crap. Massage-$ 8, and local cuisine-7-12 $ in the city. Road 2.

Do not expect 5* hotel! 3* I can say… Very old shabby rooms, bad smell, mold in bathroom, extremely slowly internet, dirty walls and curtains… overpriced… Only one positive moment — nice beach. We were disappointed.

Good hotel in Sihanoukville.

I do not recommend, this is the biggest beach in Cambodia with the best sand, night heat (+27C) but not stuffy, sea breeze. pros: SPA, sand, good landscaping cons: double-off the light on for 5-10 minutes, 2.5 hours drive from the airport, Phnom Penh. was from 19 to 21 October 2007.
