We had the worst experience of confronting an ill — mannered, arrogant and disgusting owner in the hotel industry.
When we found that there was no hot water at eleven the first night, we asked the duty staff who was helpful and asked us to wait fifteen minutes. But then the manager and the owner came and tried to explain why there was no hot water. We asked them to do something to let us to have hot water but the man simply refused and said that is the way they operate in Cambodia and if we don't like it we can check out.
This really spoiled our holiday and we shall never return.
We got hot water the following night because we returned to the hotel early but the last night was back to square one. According to the manager, their hot water system can only cater for certain amount of guests and if all the guests have shower before ten, there is no guarantee that you can get a hot shower that night.
Like other comments, the staff were helpful but the pool was not clean and the outside of the hotel was diabolical. Location is no where near a place of interest and if you have to walk through that dirty and bumpy mud path to get any where, it will spoil your holiday mood.

Nice pool area and helpful English speaking staff, pretty looking hotel, but in a noisy neighbourhood — dogs barking and non-stop club music through the night. Terrible breakfast.

Location bad: dirty, smelly alley from which escape is difficult on foot, only by car or motorbike. The room is very poor insulation-hard to sleep quietly, the breakfasts are bad. Well, the pool is more decorative or for children. The staff is polite and attentive. So for the money you can find something better and closer to the beach.

Great place, staff were excellent and attentive. The hotel was amazing and it was very luxurious, pool was fancy, rooms were very nice and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks for such a great stay Boutique Deluxx.

Pool with nice view, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful cocktails. Very clean and well maintained room. Good free Wi-Fi. Lots of lovely comfy chairs in hotel area. Location is too far away, terrible roads getting in and out of hotel. Noises from nearby constructions. (Sept 2016) No lift. Hot water not constant, had to shower in cold water at night a few times. Waited almost 10mins to get water warmed up. There's no kitchen in the hotel, but they will order take away to deliver to your room.

Amazing new luxury hotel with no expense spared. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, ultra modern and all look out to a swimming pool/garden unparalleled in its beauty. Away from all the noise of the city center but only 2 minutes and 2 dollars by tuk-tuk. The staff here are very helpful and are genuinely interested in maximizing our stay in Cambodia, giving an abundance of tips and advice regarding our plans and activities which for someone who has spent many years traveling South East Asia, is a breath of fresh air. The photos I saw on the Internet when booking this place do it no justice at all. I was left in awe as my taxi from the airport turned into a hidden alleyway only to arrive at paradise, hence my not being able to recommend this place enough. 6 stars out of 5.
