I really love Laguna Samloem Resort for it's a very peaceful and quiet place. A perfect resort to relax and chill. Your staff are very nice and friendly. I would like to also thank the owner of the resort for being so amazing and helpful to me. I love the food, it tastes delicious. I am so proud that your cook is a Filipina, like me. And what I really love the most is your unlimited Margarita. The next time I will go there, I will stay longer. Thank you for making my vacation amazing!

A quiet place to enjoy the beach and jungle while still being in a great location to go explore the island. On the private beach there were sun chairs, hammocks, and a recreation pier that is boat free. The restaurant has great food and a great view. I stayed in a villa and enjoyed relaxing in the swing seeing the ocean through the jungle.

It was the great refreshing from long traveling to check in, the view and location are really fit to price. But be attention and careful if you'd met any danger here, on one from resort side come with accompanied you or even not give you the first-aid as I got in the sample. Terrible staff and manager where I am extremely not recommend. Stay far if you want to keep yourself and your family safe.

Great place to stay with the best sunset view on Saracen Bay.

It was amazing! New accommodation, private beach, beautiful garden, nice restaurant! It’s so peaceful and quiet ❤️ I enjoyed every minute there and I definitely recommend! You can relax, go on adventure trips organized by resort and Saracen bay is like 2 min away by taxi boat. I will come back!

The best resort of the island. Excellent location, amazing villas with stunning views, private beach (with its beach bar), beautiful gardens and nature all around, excellent customer service and food. Premium amenities such as a tennis court, yoga space and others. Highly recommended to spend a quiet and peaceful time in the paradise.

Unfortunately spend there last Christmas, what’s a disappointment… supposed to be luxury treat (over 200$ a night) but end up being overpriced hostel type of standard stay. Very low standard, if I would be charged max 50$ a night my expectations would be much lower but for the price we paid I expected at least hot shower (no matter how early at morning or late at night you try no even once had warm shower during 5 days stay), clean room and friendly service. Non of them was provided. There is many hotels on island, some of there are in similar price range but none of there has such a bad standard I would never come back!

Be careful with dogs! This resort has a warning sign.

Place is quiet and peaceful, the room is clean and spacious overlooking the ocean. Staff is very friendly and the boatman is very helpful.

Don't go here if you are afraid of dogs. A pack of dogs lives in the restaurant and goes after about one in three passersby. Occasionally they bite someone and draw blood. If you are a guest the hotel will pay for rabies shots. Roughly half of the Cambodian service staff are "interns", working an apprenticeship rather than getting a real wage. If you don't tip they get little other than board.

We came from Vietnam and stayed 2 nights here in occasion of Vietnam's public holidays. This was an nice resort where every staff and manager (who can speak English) would always smile and give you a very kind question if you're doing well, feeling good, eat well, etc. They helped us plan our trip on the island, showed us the way to the most beautiful scene and beach on Koh Rong where we wished we could stay there forever. Its facility might not be the best on island, but its people are absolutely the best: nice, kind and warm.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Pity your beach is not very suitable for bathing, so hedgehogs in the rocks! But up to the common beaches go 10 minutes!

The most wonderful home away from home ever — we didn’t want to leave all the staff was so kind at a very speciel — rare seen — level the houses are luxury and the seeting with the seaview and the sound of the waves are stunning — the Chef makes the most delicious food — from the musli and yougurt with exotic fruit — burgers and sandwich to the set dinnerbuffet. And don’t get me started on the freshly homemade cheesecake and the cocktails — just go and enjoy it by yourself.

Magic place with wonderful people! We intended to stay 4 nights and ended up staying for 9, still not wanting to ever leave! Loved our stay here!

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

We spent three nights at the resort and I couldn’t be more happy. The area is relaxing and surrounding by nature, every morning we woke up with the sound and view of the sea. The resort has its own private beach or also you can walk less than 10 minutes to the main beach of the island.
Nice to eat and drink something in the restaurant, the food is super good. The staff is amazing and also very helpful, you feel like home. If you want to spent a few days in Koh Rong Sanloem this is your place.

Queenie Kung is my wife. What our request is repairing our cell phone and the stuffs what we lost due to your taxi boat sinking, and the psychological compensation we will donate to orphanage or children’s school that what we told you, but Mr. Indrek’s attitude is no any responsibility he should take for your boat sinking and almost let your customer died, even no apology that what we angry. The key important thing is he doesn’t mentioned how you improve your facility to decrease the risk of same accident but only excuses for responsibility, if some day your customer who cannot swim and same thing happen again, what the disaster it would be! Attitude is the first we anger. And we hope all of your staffs has travel insurance otherwise if this accident happen on you, your boss will tell you — why didn’t you have travel insurance? maybe you can’t talk anymore and he talk to your family. We will keep posting to other hotel agent website and relatives official department to notice someone who will travel to Sanloem island and avoid your hotel. Anyway Mr. Indrek doesn’t care the reputation on internet.

Our while family (4 adults and one kid) planned a trip to Cambodia Koh Rong Sanloem island and booked Laguna hotel on 2nd Nov.

What a great team! Far away from the agitation of the island. The chef cooks fabulous meals! Rooms are big and clean.

Service impeccable. Very secluded and relaxing. Private beach. Great food.

Lovely place on quiet island of Koh Rong Sanloem. Really quiet.

The bungalow bedroom part was nice however for this luxury grade price there was no air con and no minibar, there was no handtowel in bathroom, the showering corner wasnt very clean and the water was disposed very slowly (after a minute of showering you had a mini pool there), the restaurant had no proper tables and the variety of foods and drinks was very limited. All the time there was at least 2 or 3 anoying dogs around you while eating or with your drink. The "beach" was realy terible, lots of dirt and fragments of sea shells, many big stones in the water so you could not comfortably swim, water wasnt so clear so you didnt see where you are going. Its not worth the money!

My 5-day stay has proved to be very enjoyable and comfortable. The spacious villas are stylish, sleek and filled with the modern amenities you would not expect at the most island resorts: panoramic tinted glass walls, a comfortable bed, artwork, modern shower design and very welcoming plushy beanie couches. Two hanging chairs at the patio: you’re set to enjoy the ever-changing beauty of Saracen Bay’s sunsets streaming movies (yes, high speed internet! ) or enjoying a glass of chilled white wine! :) The restaurant caters to all tastes (continental and local specialties) and the bar offers a variety of beers, cocktails, wines and spirits. I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite white Bordeaux and to request music videos of my choice. :) The staff is Khmer, English, Estonian, Russian, Polish and Slovak-speaking – professional, attentive, respectful and attuned to your individual needs whether you need a laid-back joke or a queenly treatment. A private beach with the bar, gazebos and hammocks, kayaking, snorkeling, hiking trails to explore the island — I kept myself busy creating new exciting memories every day! :) Thank you! :)
