Just what I needed. Perfect holiday, amazing people.

Paradise on an island! Amazing food! Sweet people! Very nice tent with a nice bed to sleep in. Own hammocks and happy hour between 4-7☀️ Everything was better then even expected. We decided to come back! ❤️☀️ Big thanks to Sebastian and Julie for running such an amazing place. Big love from Sofie and Yuri.

Amazing place and location. It is great to see the appreciation you have for the environment and the beautiful Sunset Beach! The staff are great and very helpful, and the food is awesome too!

Needed quite some effort to get here. Walk through the rocky jungle with ups and downs in between. It was all paid off when you arrived at the place. Lovely host and lovely place. Staying at the edge of the jungle by the beach. Felt like its your provate beach tho. Really worth the energy you spent on.

It is rustic, but don't mind the whining princesses telling you this ain't good enough. If you are looking for that kind of getaway, this place is more than perfect.

Fairly clean but people are generally unfriendly and the food is an overcooked mash. More a group of kids maintaining shacks then any kind of bungalow resort. Expect the night sky to be constantly lit by sickly green night fishing lights.

This is the place to be in the island… everithing was perfect. I would definetly stay here again.

We were at the Robinson for 9 days. It was a great and unique experience. We (2 people) had booked the Family Bungalow as the other bungalows were fully booked for the duration. Accordingly, the stay was quite expensive. It was clean, the beds were fine and there is a great terrace with hammocks overlooking the sea.
There is no Wi-Fi on this side of the island, which I personally perceived as very relaxing. As a result, you could make many contacts at the bar during happy hour.
There is a wide range of food, both Khmer and Western Food. Everything has always tasted good to me.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
One should not underestimate the path through the jungle. But it is precisely this barrier that makes Sunsetbeach a special secluded place.
There is one criticism, however. By being there for 9 days, we would have welcomed it once someone had come and cleaned or at least emptied the bin.

I was there and volunteered for 10 days! It is an amazing place where I left a piece of my heart. Sebastian and Julie are wonderful bosses and their appreciation for the local Khmer culture is a very Important tool in leading a Business there. A Business where everybody is equal and everybody gets enough space to explore, share and contribute it's talents and non talents, westerners as well as the local Khmer staff.

This place is one of our most beautiful discoveries of the trip. We got off the boat at the Saracen Beach Wharf and crossed the island through the trail (despite the steep hiking warnings, we went into sandals and were on the other side 30 minutes later, without having any trouble). Once on the side of Sunset Beach, we immediately fell in love with the place. It's beautiful. The beach is deserted (much nicer than on the other side of the island). At Robinson Bungalows especially, the houses are spotless. It seems like the best choice to stay on the sunset Beach side. We slept in a tent, huge and very clean, with a comfortable bed and even a safety deposit box. The common toilets are very clean too. This is a luxury campsite. Several relaxation areas are available (chairs, hammocks, huts, platforms). The lack of Wi-Fi and electricity is wanted, and more than welcome! Finally the reception and service are extremely friendly. The restaurant is very good but could offer larger portions considering the price higher than the average. We keep a great memory of the place and recommend it to everyone.

It wil be difficult to leave this place. It's a great place to relax totally.

Thorougly enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable and reasonably clean bungallows with cute geckos roaming inside, for $ 30 a night. The cuisine is great — the best lok lak and extremely tasty and inexpensive natural cocktails. Very peaceful and far away from civilisation, yet you can always charge your devices. No internet or phone connection. Be warned that the 1.7 km long path from the pier to the other side of the island is challenging: it goes up and down the steep hill. It can be covered in a half an hour. You will have to scramble dangerous rocks. Suitable shoes and plenty of water are recommended. The path starts in a different location on the beach than marked on any map. Just follow the sign just right of the pier.

We hiked from the other side, lugging our backpacks through the jungle to the serene and peaceful sunset beach. Robinson had awesome tent accommodations and wonderful staff. I hope sunset beach takes a long time to become overcrowded!

Very peaceful and quiet. Great location with friendly staff and a fantastic view of the sunset. We stayed in the 4 meter bell tent and it was more than enough space for two. Food was good and slightly on the expensive side, but no more than anywhere else on the island.

Psychedelic sunsets, amazing beach, good snorkling, the tents are cleans and the food is very delicious. Paradise on Earth!

We slept 2 nights in a private big tent for 20USD/night. Great place for relaxing. Food is really good too. We recommand that place for lovers or people that want a relax vibe.

Unfriendly staff, didn't want to show the room, nobody felt responsible.

They have nice bungalows for $20 and offer nice seafood BBQ for dinner.

My friends and I spent a week at Robinson Bungalows late december 2015 and I got to say that the stay was just amazing! Robinson bungalows location is just perfect for those who are looking for a quiet holiday where you can chill out, relax, enjoy breath taking sunsets and perfect beach. But honestly, the reason we had somuch fun and had such a great time was because of the crew. I can';t say enough about the owners Sebastian and Julie, the manager Bradley and the whole crew. They were more than friendly and welcoming and did everything in their power to make sure our stay was as good as can be.

We stayed at Robinson Bungalow for 3 nights in January 2015. If you are looking to escape from the world, this is the place. The bungalows are rustic and bare bones. There is running water, but only cold water in the shared bathroom. The beach was amazing, usually only 6 or 7 other people on the beach. The water was warm and there was pretty decent snorkelling just steps into the water. There is a dive shop 200 meters down the beach. The day we went diving there were only 3 of us on the boat. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and serving sizes were huge! When we enquired about a cooking class one of the chefs enthusiastically agreed to set up their first ever cooking class for us the following day, and it was lots of fun. There is a daily boat to and from the beach which you can take. We however took the fast ferry that arrives on the other beach. We then hiked to Robinson Bungalow. It is a well established jungle path that in our minds added to the secludedness. It takes between 30 and 45 minutes and we were able to hike it with 20 kg packs. That said it was a little challenging in places. Wear proper shoes as we saw many blown out flip flops along the route. We wish we could have stayed longer, one of the highlights of our Asia trip!
