Good place to stay, good price too. And they have a good restaurant with projector slide of live sports and music. And their pizza is really good.
I stayed in the dorms here for one night. The air condition does not work and it gets EXTREMELY hot in the room, and I have never seen such a disgusting bathroom in my life. I asked the reception to please send someone up to clean it. When I came back, they had hardly cleaned at all — just the sink. We were not given blankets to the beds either, but of course we didn't need it since it was so hot in the dorm. We were given no way to lock the door to our dorm, so it stayed open for most of the time. Anyone could walk in and out. Would not recommend this place.

I did not stay there so I am only reviewing their restaurant service and their claim to have "The Best Pizza", and I disagree. The pizza at Treehouse Bungalows is much better and it doesn't smell or taste like sea water like the one I tried to eat at Coco's last night. The location is very convenient, and if you're desperate for something to eat, this place will do but there are much better options on the island just a short walk away and the service was remarkably unfriendly. It felt like we were bothering them by ordering food and drinks at 7pm. The bartender and cashier seemed genuinely put out to have to receive our money and make change. Just a few steps away by the pier, is a lovely Khmer woman making sidewalk Pad Thai which was delicious and perfectly safe from a food safety perspective. If we all stopped accepting poor service, barely average food, and bad attitudes just because we're tired or hungry, things would improve overall. On second thought, don't settle for Coco's. Spend your money where it will be appreciated, and you'll know it because you will see smiles as your offer (and money! ) is taken.
