Ravorn Villa & Resort is the gem and oasis in Battambang. My wife and I just finished our trip to Pailin and last stop in Battambang. Ravorn Villa & Resort was the one we loved the most. It's located a bit of the busy city of Battambang. It takes about 5 minute drive to tourist pub street in town. The room is large and well equipped with a functional AC, TV which has lots of channels with different languages, bathtub, fridge, … The bed was comfortable and all rooms face to the pool view. The staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged us a Bamboo train trip to see all the real Cambodian life in a countryside. It was a fun trip on the Bamboo train. It's close to the hotel, and I highly recommend this trip to everyone. It costs you 5$ per person. And Mr. Pitou, the GM, also assisted us to arrange a car for us back to Siem Reap. I would recommend this resort to any couples/family and honeymooners.

Nice simply and clean rooms, with a large swimming pool. Its a little far from town but the staff arranged good tuk tuk.

Great host! The pool was good, and the bungalow spacious. Except the host some difficulties to be understood by staff who needs a little more experience to earn the fifth star.

Very good hotel. We found the Khmers ' kindness. The boss is in a little care with you. Good advice for excursions. The rooms are spacious. The pool is beautiful and great. The very ornate garden is extraordinary with hundreds of species. Good Asian food in the restaurant. We will return.

Lovely guiet place with clean air away from the city. The gardens are beautiful. The manager/owner and his wife have fairly good English and are every helpful. They only opened in March 2016 and clearly have no training or experience in hotel work. Cambodian food here is good and is usually cooled by Mum. However, they are struggling to find staff so housekeeping and restaurant service are not what they should be. Breakfasts are a disaster. That said, on balance it is well worth a try and I hope they will make a success of this venture.

Chosen via Trip Adviser definitely a wise choice. Delightful small hotel just outside Battambang. Lovely Lake side room, clean, comfortable and a good bed. Very friendly staff lead by the owners who made us feel most welcome. Excellent breakfast and evening meal. We regret only booking for one night as we should have booked more.

Peaceful surroundings, large airy bungalow, good sized pool, helpful and friendly staff, out of town but only a short TUC TUC ride away. Pool side restaurant with good food but catering a bit too much to western tastes. Apart from that, I can't fault this place and would certainly recommend it. Breakfast good too.

Just outside town down a dirt road — dont get discouraged as you get closer. You drive through a walled gate into a parking entry area and as you pass reception you are in another world. Only 14 rooms laid out in bungalows around the gardens and overlooking a pond (or is it 14 bungalows? Either way you will never feel a crowd). Central open air 2 story restaurant bar beside a gorgeous pool which is a perfect temp for an early morning or evening dip.
Ravorn and Paree are lovel…y hosts — Paree opened the kitchen and made us sandwiches when we arrived late because of plane trouble. The staff are sweet (generally true of Cambodia but still worth pointing out). The garden view bungalows have a terrace area shared between 2 rooms — divided by some things so you have your own bit — looking onto a garden area. Off the terrace is the room. Good size with a minimalist polished concrete design which is perfect for the heat and keeping clean (be like the locals and take your shoes off before going in). A/c is fine and the bathroom is a good size with an excellent shower. Nice touches of complimentary toiletries. No TV which is bliss. Cant remember if the Wi-Fi is in the rooms but it definitely works. Firm bed. Slept in the arms of morpheus. You are an easy tic-tuc to town. Battambang is not big but has a decent set of French colonial buildings, nice restaurants and bars and some art galleries. Nice place to potter.

The owners, Ravorn and Paree, have created a lovely sanctuary a couple miles from town center, where they welcome you with quality service, high design and very comfortable rooms. Only a couple years old, the details all hit the mark. Good beds, quiet A/C and fan, even a ceiling fan on the porch to keep the bugs at bay. Plenty of room to put your bags, clothing, and bath items. Best of all was the huge saltwater pool. Perfect! They gladly arrange day trips for you, or like me, just appreciated that we did nothing but lounge by the pool, enjoy delicious pool side lunch and then took their free tuktuk shuttle into town for dinner and return. This was truly a wonderful sojourn to experience peace and quiet after the more crowded and chaotic towns of Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. We spent four nights but could have stayed much longer.
