The attention to detail in this hotel was amazing. The staff were extremely hospitable and the food was delicious. I also loved the efforts they’ve made to reduce the use of plastics throughout the hotel. Definitely set the bar high and I look forward to staying there again!

Fantastic quality hotel and surroundings. One slight problem was animal noises overnight making it very difficult to sleep.

We stayed here after having a bad experience elsewhere. Wow, the staff was so accommodating! They got our room ready last minute and so quickly, they even let us have breakfast although we arrived after 10 am. The pool was beautiful, rooms were nice, AC worked great, food and bar were great, and staff was really nice and helpful. I'd definitely recommend for anyone staying in Battambang.

Luxurious hotel, very good restaurant, breakfast a la carte, swimming pool in bright sunlight at night. Unfortunately the nearby area is not very interesting (practically only bars/nightclubs) but you can't blame it at the hotel. Still very well located in relation to the city centre of Battambang.

Top good and very friendly place We come here for drinks and food most of the time when we visit BTB. Both owner and staff are very friendly. The owner almost knows all his customers. Anything you order will come good, it is very hard to complain about this place.

Excellent! The Bambu Hotel is definitely the best option in Battambang. Located in the center of the city, in a corner without tourist agglomeration (the ideal mix). The rooms, type cabins, are beautiful, full of details (coffee, tea, fruit, soaps artisans, Goan…) and the sink and shower are large and beautiful. Everything is very clean and smells of soap. The staff is very polite and friendly. There is a beautiful garden that surrounds a limpía pool with hammocks, towels and everything you need. There is also a bar bar where they make terrific cocktails and a fantastic dining room. Dinners on the terrace are exquisite. It also has a very good and abundant breakfast.  Battambang has many attractions but surely you will want to spend a whole day enjoying only the hotel!

We just spent Christmas Eve there. It is a very nice place, warm welcome from the boss, and staff to the small care.
The Christmas buffet was excellent.

What a great atmosphere with super people. I would totally recommend the family run Bambu hotel to anyone travelling around Battambang. You can always trust the quality of your experience when you see the staff are happy, too.

Only experienced lunch here but we witnessed the effort put into our dishes. The decor was very colonial which reflected the French heritage here. Our curry, sausages and mash were perfect. High price certainly worth it.

Very welcoming upscale hotel. Rooms well equipped with AC. Pool consistently warm in the evenings, bar and restaurant great (in fact lots of expat locals seem to just come for the food and drink). Only criticism is that the neighbors and wildlife is pretty noisy, don't expect to sleep in until past 7.

Friendly staff, beautiful rooms, good price.

The warm climate. Room the use of many wooden materials, give you a very simple French colonial style feeling. The reception to the bar, the restaurant area is overlooking the swimming pool. Room in the back. Very comfortable, and the hotel style, the mirrored it. The bathroom was spacious, and clean. I'm sure I'll be back here to live.

Hotel with lots of charm, situated in a side street a little dark and not tarred, but it is worth the rest and the peace of the hotel, I try very very friendly, very professional.
