I always like to come back to Hotel Balkan.
Great ambiance, nice staff, great breakfast buffet and of course central location in Sofia.

Very good fantastic otels.

Really comfortable accommodation. Nice, big bed. Located next to a tram line. The hot water worked really well and the shower has enclosed glass so water doesn't go everywhere.

The bedroom (4 persons) was, very big with 2 double beds. The bathroom was also big. The hotel is a 20minutes walk from the center. The parking has 24h surveillance and it closes at night.

Pros:
Good location, the hotel isnt as bad as what the comment saids online. The cleanliness is within good standard and honestly I can see the hotel owner trying their best to maintain this hotel.

This hotel has a super location and the price is very reasonable.

Excellent location, easy to reach by public transportation (metro, buses and trolleys stop nearby), few metres from the pedestrian Vitosha Blvd but far enough to be quiet.

The hotel is well situated for access to the main pedestrian street Vitoshka Boulevard with lots of shops and restaurants.

Very reasonable priced, spacious apartment for 4 of us sharing and good location for centre of Sofia. Breakfast was lovely, Help yourself buffet, hot or cold. Clean and Tidy.

We stayed here on the 1st of October 2024 the first room we had was not very good no air-conditioning and stains on the carpet it was quite a warm night as well but the room was nice and tidy really

Stayed with my family (2 adults, 3 kids) in a family studio, it was perfect! Friendly staff, great breakfast, kids loved the pool, and parking was easy. Highly recommend!

It is good that in the center of the city, there are some drinks at the reception, which can be purchased additionally.
But the hotel looks better from the outside than from the inside.

We were a little apprehensive before staying here as the reviews were quite mixed, but honestly we can’t understand why this hotel has been reviewed badly in the past — our experience was fantastic.

We stayed overnight upon leaving Bulgaria for a very early departure. Room was more expensive than anywhere else we stayed, but I guess you pay for the location.

I adore Alpin, we are going 5 years in a row there, Slavcho hospitality makes a difference.

Location is amazing — slopes are a few houndred meters away.
Villas are with comfortable space and cozy holiday-environment. Great heating.

Everything was just perfect for our 5-days stay. The spa is TOP, the massages are done by professionals.

I like the hotel… but the food is just OK. Allergy information is missing. There's a constant noise from some pump or generator that I can hear from the bed through the window.
