Service at its best — always my first choice in Sofia
And I have already tested a lot of hotels. The Hotel Metropolitan is by far the best (value for money)!

We enjoyed our stay there. The rooms were clean and neat.

Very nice here with the good view over the city. English-language staff. All very friendly and helpful. Despite the crisis, everyone is trying very hard. A chic clean room. Okay for one night. Gladly again without crisis and lockdown. Without any doubt a recommendation from me as a conference hotel completely sufficient and ram.

Thank you very much for the perfect service and the extras that were all offered to me free of charge — the shuttle picked me up from the airport and brought me back on time the next day. The room was nice lyquiet and pleasant. You don't notice that the Metropolitan is right on a busy road. I was also happy about the free minibar! All staff are very friendly and accommodating! I am very happy to come back at my next stopine in Sofia and look forward to it! :-) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

This hotel is recommended. It leaves nothing to be desired. We have been there for 4 days or 3 days left and there is really nothing to complain about. The rooms are super clean and leave no wish unfulfilled. Both the free minibar and the cuddly bathrobe invite you for convenience, the friendly staff both in the room service and in the restaurant at breakfast, as well as the adorable and attentive waiters in the Met and Bar, and not to mention the delicious food, just don't let you remember that you actually live in the middle of several busy streets.
If Sofia, then only Metropolitan the stars are deserved, we even give one more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

About the hotel restaurant, where we made our christmas party — for the first time, I see a restaurant where the customer's food and drink are taken in his absence without being asked. Full plates, side-left utensils (which means that the client didn't finished his meal) and full freshly poured glasses with wine were taken if the customer was not in his place. Usually at a restaurant, people ask if you want anything else, not picking up your salad when you've been out for a while. We talk about 10:30 PM, We understood this like a "Ok, it's time for you to go home". Strange politics, offensive to guests.

Staff are lovely and very helpful. Comfortable and clean accommodation.

Staff was very rude and unhelpful very disappointing experience room was cold and not recommended for tourists.

Room not as described, poor service. Avoid! We've checked in to Metropolitan after a long drive — party of 4: 2 adults, 1 kid, 1 baby. The room booked was a double room with King bed, additional bed and a baby crib.
When entered the room we found that the extra bed isn't there and room seems too small for 4 people.
Went down to talk to receptionist, named Maria, who advised that this is the room we've booked — standard room. My wife then showed her that the prices and room specs are different, but this changed nothing to Mrs. Andreeva. She insisted that to get bigger room we need to add 30 Euro or 50 Euro for suite with 2 rooms.
This wasn't acceptable from our side as the room sold should have been adequate in size for number of people sold to (4 in our case). You just can't add beds and a crib to room, charge extra, even if it physically can't support this, especially with small kids that can fall while trying to make their way in this passage between bed and luggage (see pics attached)
My wife insisted to speak with manager directly, but Mrs. Maria Andreeva rudely blocked her attempt to do so.
Eventually we gave up as we had an early flight and didn't want to ruin the whole evening.
For sure will not be back again and advise other people to avoid this hotel. They will sell you everything, charge and just don't care if you have an issue… The only positive note about this hotel is its proximity to the Airport and included minibar.

Friendly reception staff on arrival at the late hour of midnight.
Lovely room on 7th floor, full of bathroom amenities. Comfy bed and hospitality tray along with mini bar was a nice touch. Breakfast was fresh, comprehensive and good quality.
I would stay here again.

Compliment mini bar from hotel that includes 2 beers, Pepsi's, waters and fruit juice… Plus bonus choice of 5 different types of pillow… high or low. Memories foam etc…

the entire hotel is always very clean and the spa is perfect. Delicious food is served and the restaurant and the morning buffet is very very rich. I highly recommend this hotel and if im ever back to visit Sofia I will defenetly book this hotel again.

The hotel is very pleasant. Staff and service were excellent. Central location and quiet. Close to the airport and on the road to the center. Rooms were comfortable, I fully recommend it.

We loved our stay at the Metropolitan Hotel, room was clean and tidy and we also had a free bar in the room. Staff were fab, so friendly and willing to help. The food was delicious and price's were reasonable. Hotel in general was in a good location. Would definitely recommend.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. However, there are not enough power supplies and the mirrors are located in dark places which is Not comfortable for women. There is not enough light. Some of The receptionists do not speak or understand English and this matter makes difficult the communication. The breakfast is excellent with fresh fruits and variety of dishes and juices. I was expecting better coffee instead of the instant one.

The hotel was awesome. Very clean, staff very polite and helpful, nice rooms, and a free mini bar with some sodas and waters. Close to the airport ($2 cab ride), walking distance to a huge mall (10' min walk) and not far from the center ($3 cab ride). Has an EXCEPTIONAL bar with some unique and very expensive spirits and the bar tender although in his 20's knew everything possible about every whiskey and malt scotch the offered, with locations, history etc. Not pricey for the level of accommodation. Easy 5 starts.

Nice, friendly and good looking staff. Tasty breakfast, fish, pancakes a lot of fruits. Secure underground parking, rooms are clean, fresh with good quality sheets, Metropolitan please put extra pillows and shoehorn in the rooms :)

Beautiful environment, welcoming staff, smiling and helpful. Bar prices expensive, spa abbordabilissima at the level of the prices but I have used x lack of time. Food and wines good. Hotel to choose if you want to stay near the airport and close to the center of Sofia.

A very modern western style hotel. The rooms are very spacious. They have a minibar with complimentary content, juice, Pepsi, beer. The bathroom have shower/bath combo. The design of the shower holder few cm into the wall is not such a good idea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has many options — typically western style breakfast. The cabs are quickly available and the connectivity to the airport and metro is good.

Good business hotel. Wi fi is OK. Breakfast is nice. Almost all the staff speaks English. Complementary mini bar in the room. Restaurant closes early on weekends. At about 5 min. Walk to a mall.

Top hotel and there were clean rooms in the middle of Sofia Capital city of Bulgaria near the shopping mall had gone shopping was not bad was good.

Large rooms, comfortable beds, parking. 13. Breakfast buffet. Jacuzzi and sauna are also paid. Very tasty in the restaurant prices are moderate.

A great hotel, offering excellent services to guests, featuring a cozy bar, a very good breakfast lounge, very well-decorated rooms, nice views, very clean & last but not least, very polite, helpful & English speaking staff. We'd love it if it also offered tea/coffee facilities in the room though :) It's located in Sofia's city centre (a bit far from restaurants & cafes though), yet very close to a big mall.

It's a nice, modern hotel with friendly staff and everything is very clean. However the beds are way too hard for my liking and sleeping on them was rather challenging. Obviously some people will prefer a firm mattress but for me this wasn't ideal. Also the location of the hotel is not good for very much as it is somewhat out of the way but taxis in Sofia are cheap of you need to move around.

Very nice, modern hotel with attentive and polite staff. Some colleagues have complained about the firmness of the beds, but I find mine to be comfortable. For room service, the beef stroganoff is out of this world delicious — — highly recommended! Oh, there's a free beer in the room everyday. Incredible!

We booked this hotel at the last minute before our flight to be close to the airport. The room was very clean, fresh linens and didn't smell bad. The staff was awesome. Everyone from reception, wait staff, housekeeping… They were all very pleasant and helpful. Most of them spoke English enough to communicate. The AC took a while to cool down the room and in my opinion never got cool enough to be comfortable but that seemed to be the normal standard for all hotels in this region. I would stay there again.

This is a pleasant budget hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff.

Great hotel in a good location. Rooms are quiet and cosy. Stayed with my kids for a night. Really recommend it. Only 15 minutes from the center.

Close to the International airport. Perfect breakfast for early birds. Free shuttle to the airport. Fair room prices, good value. One of the best shopping malls on the other side of the street. Super food court…

Nice hotel! Not exactly in the center, but in 10 minutes with taxi you can go wherever you want. Taxis are so cheap in Bulgaria (if your coin is euro or dollar), moreover all the taxis know this hotel, so it's easy to reach.

The location is very good and the staff are very friendly.

Bad experience, although the hotel is nice, new, full of accessories: (Bathrobe for example), very clean but… it's in nowhere! The mall requires on returning 5 kms of taxi, going there on foot is dangerous,, the elevators are insufficient (although the security is very good). Unfortunately I took a period with closed restaurant, closed Jacuzzi, closed massage. The room is nice and pleasant, you sleep well. It is suitable if you have the car and if you are not tourists. Good Wi-Fi, complimentary mini bar and shuttle Airport.

Good rooms and beds, nice and clean bathrooms. Stable and fast internet connection via Wi-Fi and ethernet. Breakfast is ok and quite standard if you like cooked breakfast. I didn't see all the ingredients of a continental one, but there is plenty of fruit and cereals. There is no variation over the week. Bar and restaurant seem to be mixed up. You'll get more choice in food at the bar and beer from the tap at the restaurant. Food was basic with a rather short menu. Prices are probably quite high for the country, but normal for European standards. Guests seem to be mostly business with some higher-grade tourists in between.

I stayed with a wonderful impressions from your stay at the hotel. Friendly staff, polite attitude and a very convenient location for business trips (10 min from Sofia airport).

Metropolitan Hotel Sofia can easily compete with all the top 5 star hotels in Sofia, but with a much more reasonable price. They have taken care of every detail and made my stay an absolute delight. The proximity to the airport is also a nice plus.

The location on the map is wrong. The hotel is 1.5 km southeast down Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd, at the crossing to Sofia airport.
