Strongly recomment his business hotel! Very nice and wel designed spacious rooms. Great and reliable Wi-fi with office room in the lobby, very pleasant meeting place and a great restaurant and breakfast!

A great hotel with a great location and a wonderful breakfast.
We arrived in the morning and we were immediately settled.

We stayed for 2 nights and overall the hotel was good but there were a few things that should be improved. There were lamps in our bathroom that kept switching off, some cracked tiles, and the door handle to the bathroom door was so loose that once I ended up holding one part of it in my hand. If you get a room with a courtyard view, it's going to be an awful view. If you get a room with a street view, there will be window lamps switching off and on constantly. We don't know what the hotel management was trying to achieve with that light show. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. The reception staff was friendly.

Good hotel with very good Wi-Fi (even if for one day it didn't work). Rooms are clean and spacious. Maybe the breakfast could be improved, the machine for coffee/cappuccino basically didn't work.

Good clean business hotel in downtown Sofia. Good breakfasts and a surprisingly good Italian restaurant.

Perfect location. Very quiet and yet central. The rooms are not big but cozy. Cool modern style with lots of real wood. Breakfast is almost average. Reception good. The bad rating is available for the impossible breakfast waiters. Are grumpy and inattentive. When I drew attention to the fact that the coffee machine was not working properly, I had to listen to the fact that I was just too dumb to push the right buttons.

The room was smaller than I expected. The service was good. The breakfast was really nice with a large diversity. Had dinner in the restaurant and the service was top notch the food was good as well.

I was 2015 here, and for the price I was overall satisfied. Friendly staff, good bed, room OK — so all right. The location was a bit decentralized but by myself so elected.

"Good location and breakfast, not enough professionalism for a 4 star hotel! " The hotel is well located at the city center and features a breakfast with fresh products and a wide variety. The parking is right outside the hotel and serves excellent on all trips. Every request was made directly and there was good communication with the staff, although the majority of the employees were not over 30 years of age and did not show the corresponding professionalism of a 4 star hotel. We booked the Corner Suite for 3 people, but the third bed (sofa) was not ready on our arrival and there was only one set of towels. The windows and the balcony seemed to be dirty for months, as well as there was spider web in the bathroom. On the mattress of the double bed you felt the springs, while the sofa mattress was very thin. The general picture of the services could also correspond to a 2 or 3-star hotel — in no case the expectations we had for a 4 star hotel did not meet with this one.

Toilet for a fee. Rough cooking. Untreated cleaning. At least it's hot.

Too loud the volume of music that makes a discreet service conversation impossible. Good food.

It was a very nice place to walk to. Very comfortable and modern room. Fabulous breakfast and great restaurant we enjoyed for two dinners. Absolutely recommended!

Great location, friendly staff and worth trying!

Hotel is tidy and offers everything you would expect. The shuttle service has arranged a cost-effective transfer from/to the airport. The staff were very friendly and the reception area was a small bar with seating. The rooms are clean and tidy, there is a mini bar, digital cable TV with flat screen and also German programs, shower gel and soap, desk, wardrobe, seating etc.
Why a star deduction anyway? During our stay the in-house restaurant as well as the large bar were closed every evening because of "private party", moreover the rooms were heated too warm and could not be regulated. Heat as a window on and outside. The drawback with the "private party" was not so tragic, in Sofia you can find very many and very good restaurants. Here I would like to recommend Spaghetti kitchen, not only for pasta dishes.
Overall I can only recommend the hotel, the 4 stars are absolutely justified and for the price always.

After the original room we were given turned out to be not what we paid for we were immediately moved to the Superior room that we had paid for without any problems! The room is spacious and spotless! The staff are all fantastic and the food in the restaurant was superb. The choice for breakfast was also very good and plenty of good products. The hotels location is perfectly situated and all the main sights and public transport is within walking distance. If we are ever back in Sophia this would be my choice of hotel and I will certainly be recommending it. Thank you we have had a wonderful stay.

For a 4 star hotel it has very basic&small rooms. Mine was constantly cold and on the last day a found some big bug in room! The only good thing in the hotel is the breakfast and location.

High level hotels with competing prices. We were very good and we were pampered with a comfortable room and a convenient location to visit the city. Restaurant very good but poorly attended.

WOW! Great location, great staff. The hotel is about a 10min walk from the city centre and most popular attractions but on a very quiet street. There are some excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable! Highly recommend!

The City Hotel is a great place to stay in Sofia. The rooms are clean, the service and staff are great. I have stayed there a number of times. The Italian restaurant is really good.

A great looking hotel, a bit to fancy for the location.

I usually review hotels by their Wi-Fi and this hotel had a consistent, strong signal throughout. Having stayed at Best Western hotels throughout the US for business, I chose this one hoping the Wi-Fi would be good and was glad it was. The hotel though is better than a standard American one with a sauna service and excellent restaurant.
