Got a stomach-infection. Was sick through the whole vacation (2 weeks). Says now on the news that Sunny beach got an epedmi of rotavirus.
The glasses were not clean, went through alot of glasses and then we got tired of it, so we drank just from water bottles. At breakfast the juicemachines often was broken. Bugs and ants by the pool and in the restaurant. Many plates were not clean either… Me and my boyfriend saw how the cheifs was sweating right in the food they cooked.
Not a place for kids and non-smokers. We couldnt sit outside for dinner because there was just a big fog of smoke and the same by the pool area, and everywhere else at the outside of the hotel. You couldnt open the balcony door because everyone smoked; we did that mistake and woke up in the night and the whole room smelled ciggaretts!
Worst vacation I have ever been on. After beeing at the hospital for 3 days with drop because of the infection, all we got for replacement was a box of chocolate… We got promised that my boyfriend could bring me food to the room from the restaurant because of the infectionrisk to others. But when he went there for breakfast we got a no, because they didnt have plastic plates? — So we needed to buy our own food when we paid for half board.
The majority of the staff couldnt speak english, the first day we went there, the receptionst couldnt explain in english where our room was located.
There were also sea gulls bathing in the pool and the lifequards just let them. And we are not talking about 2-3 sea gulls; there were around 10-15 every evening!
The only thing that was good was the cleaning of the room and the location of the hotel.
Wouldnt recommend this hotel!
