Camping Kromidovo Campground

A warm and friendly welcome by the owners after our long trip in our motor home en route from Brasov in Romania to our house on Lefkada in Greece. We had our 2 year old grandson with us so the clean facilities and electric hook up was a boon. Thank you John. The email responses were quick and encouraging, as we neared the campsite after a 12 hour drive. One word of warning, if arriving after dark, the roads are very bad in the village and almost impossible to avoid the potholes!. You have been warned!. Drive slowly!. Very beautiful countryside a feast for the eyes.

What a perfect spot on our trip from Serbia to Greece. Very calm and with a swimming pool at the end of the street! The owners are in one word lovely. They helped us get around, let us taste their homemade beers, got us wine from the region and were always in for a talk. 10/10!

A great place to find English spoken hospitality by a couple from Manchester. You can learn Bulgarian along with John. Sarah is doing great cooking and gardening. The pool at 300 meters is open june, july, august.

Sara and John were wonderful hosts. Our tipi was very comfortable and had plenty of night lighting, we were able to use their BBQ, herb garden and kitchen. There are lots of nice places to sit and eat. You can also buy local wine and John brews excellent beer. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time around the area and we ended up extending our stay! We highly recommend you visit!

Friendly small quiet rural clean campsite. Eco-friendly. Good value. Good very local wineries.

After a visit of melnik we was surprised about this little paradise. Just relaxing and enjoy your holiday. Top sanitary, places under tarps and a fireplace and sunshine ;-) More than a recommendation…

Really nice small campsite close to the Greek border, great facilities and very accommodating hosts! The village swimming pool a short walk from the campsite is a massive bonus in the mid summer heat!

Great campingsite with everything you need in walking-distance, such as a nice swimmingpool and two small groceryshops. The facilities are excellent, clean and eco-friendly. We visited Melnik, famous for it's wines and enjoyed the sightes, wonderful food and friendly people. The owners of camping Kromidovo, Sara and John, did everything to make our stay extra pleasant, like providing more shade and taking the time to inform us about interesting things to do and see. A beautiful and kempt place with very clean and modern sanitation. The owners are helpful and likeable. The pool in the near of the campingplace has a comfortable temperature of water and is not crowded.

Evrything is Ok. Owners speak English perfectly :)

We enjoyed our stay at Camping (and B&B) Kromidovo al lot, very relaxed. The breakfast is a do it yourself, just take what you want from the fridge. The dinner was prepared for us and has been great, including beers and wines, bbq, moussaka etc and good company. It is more like staying with friends than in a hostel/hotel. The location offers a lot of options for things to do, even a swimming pool very close by. For things further away (e. G. Melnik) you can use their bikes. Be aware that they still are in the process of setting things up, so it is not all finished, which to us gave it even more charm. Our room was a finished one, the others were 'less' finished, but for these prices you won't complain. Camping is also a nice option, plenty of space. Showers and toilets are shared but nice and clean. A relaxing place to stay and also a good location if you are on your way to/from Greece.
