It’s a good airpor in terms of location. It has some restaurants that you can have something to eat while waiting. Also there are some stores for gifts. You should be careful about the traffic. To get there it’s very intense, even in the early morning. Sometimes it’s a good choice to get off the taxi in the opposite side of the airport and take the overpass. It’s a safer alternative. Besides, I recommend you to consider the time of the X-ray queue. In the rush time (morning and 6pm it is usually full). It’s easy to take uber (arrivals) and taxi (underground floor). Parking is expensive, but you can find alternative ones next to the airport with free transportation.

Very busy airport, many restaurants (overpriced), charging stations. Many domestic Flights. I would consider Safe inside. For me it’s fine that I speak portuguese but I noticed that many gate agents, and other staff doesn’t speak english.

It's funny to read so many misleading tips from other passengers in here. Like it's an international Airport (only domestic), or it has 24h flights (6h to 22h only) or small airport (top 5 most passengers in Brazil), not many cafeteria options (there's the underground floor with lots of options), hard to get to (where in SP is easy? ), and lots more…

Its a small domestic airport to connect to other Brazilian cities. Much more crowded than other Brazil airports as a major transit airport for intercity flights. Basic amenities and facilities available for passengers. Nothing much to do if you have to wait for long transit hours. Clearly marked signs help in easy navigation within the airport. Neat and clean public spaces. Staff is helpful but language is a barrier as very few understand English. Overall a nice experience without any hiccups! Bus and Taxi service is available outside the airport, ask the helpdesk. Also, there are free connecting shuttle buses every hour to Guarulhos International airport and back for onward journeys into and out of Brazil. ✌

It's uncommon for breakfast to paid after paying 100 dollars for a small room no mini bar. Ibis please step up.

Well located hotel, very close to the Congonhas airport. Check-in may take some time. Small, comfortable and clean hotel. The staff helps a lot.

Great service and location. The girls at the front desk were extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. They gave us the option of an early check in which helped us a lot!

Oh my, when we remember this place, always have the feeling of the small city airport, always busy and crowded. In general is very basic and it's fine if you don't need to wait couple of hours inside. It's used for the domestic flights, so don't expect to much from it. The are few places to have a snack and small shops inside.

Very clean, friendly staff (except at the cocktail bar at night). Breakfast buffet very delicious (deserves the 5 reales)

The Congonhas airport it’s convenient for those who looking for a domestic and more affordable, in terms of price, flight. Its open 24 hours, for those unfortunate enough to wait for the next day to catch a flight and has an available sitting area, where you can hangout. I had a flight from Miami with a final destination to Goiania with my total down to $760. A cheap flight but I had to change airports, from São Paulo Guarulhos to Congonhas. Overall, I am happy for what I pay, but for someone not so adventurous, I will advise him to reconsider. That being said a few tips for those future travelers that are planning to take a flight from Congonhas. How to get to São Paulo Congonhas from São Paulo Guarulhos : -With a bus. It’s a free shuttle bus which leaves every hour and the last one is at 22:00. You just show him your boarding pass and free to ride with it. (it works with a first come first serve basis, so if it’s a big line you might end up missing it and then you will have to wait until the next one) -With a taxi. It’s service is 24 hours and costs 167.59 reals or around $55. In order to find where to take them, ask around, they will be more than happy to help you out.

Hotel bem localizado para quem precisa pegar avião em congonhas. A primeira van com destino ao aeroporto sai do hotel às 5 da manhã. Muito em cima da hora para quem precisa pegar vôo às 6 da manhã e despachar bagagem. Só não perdi o voo pq fui de táxi.

Efficient security check. The bad part is it is hard to get to even though it seems not far from the city. The traffic to the airport is horrible.

Even being a small airport considering its number of passengers and flights, I would say it is one of the best airports in Brazil. I'm a frequent user (every week — more than 100 times / year) and things just work fine there. Very well located. For the pilots and aviation-lovers, its runway is a plus!

The hotel is very easy to find a d its located in a good area. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is very polite.

Good, but I found it strange that you do not have a minibar in the room, you have to get off by water. Outside of that everything good, is exactly opposite the airport, but you have to cross the avenue for a pedestrian bridge to get there, so if you have lots of luggage, remember that there are many stairs hahahah!

Located in front of Congonhas Airport There is a shuttle van which runs every 20mins between airport (in front of LATAM vheck in area) — hotel. The view from the hotel was nice. I could see plane take off and landing The staffs are helpful, but they cannot speak english very well.

Very poorly maintained and dirty hotel. This is nowhere an Accor standard. Toilets not working and not properly cleaned. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible airport, it is ugly, dirty, cramped and small, not enough seating, the Wi-Fi doesn't work and you usually have to take a bis to get to the plane. I do not recommend this airport at all.

Well, only at the Check Inn I handed the key without it worked properly and had to go back to reception to be rescheduled. But apart from this little problem, everything else was very good.

Generally good stay. A few more toiletary items would be nice. (shower gel, larger soap bar, larger shampoo). Shower door did not seal very well. Bathroom floor got very wet.

Staying at Ibis Hotel was a very nice experience. Despite the incomprehension on my request to have a agent coming to guide me through the airport to the shuttle hotel. The complete absence on personnel speaking English, thankfully one of your agent was so far so good in Spanish so we tried to understand each other. Without these little inconvenience my room was perfect, the buffet delicious both for breakfast and dinner.

It was good stay and gave me to work quiet.
The checking was the one that took a while, but my exit was very fast.

Just another business trip. Ibis was good enough to rest. One thing. I make the reservation working for Ernst&Young using the Wagonlit Travel Services. On their page I was looking for this hotel and did not appear, so I had to explicitly ask for an off-line reservation. Maybe you should check why they are not offering this hotel as an alternative… even when it is cheaper that others, that will give you more chances to be booked.

Very good only that the income confirmed that I had breakfast included consult twice in the reception and then I had to pay —

I always stop at the IBIS/Accord hotels and this one is very nice. What is not understood is that it does not have heating, only cold air! And in Sao Paulo, in winter there are very cold nights. The room was frozen because it had the A/a tied and there was no way to Calefaccionarla.

Never been to an airport as unnecessarily loud as this one. I think the airlines dont trust the passengers to be in time for their flights. They have to announce every single flight, gate, delay, changes, missing passengers, horoscope, etc so loud in the speakers. It is extremely annoying. PLEASE take earplugs or earphones for music. If you are already travelling for hours, this airport will definitely drive you insane.

They Didnt answer the phone at comercial time. 15:00 on tuesday.

Sometimes I come here just to admire the vast beauty of the bathrooms. I eat here often but honestly I wouldn't trust your pilots with a glass of water as they are large and in charge more often than they are gay.

0 stars. Worse airport ever! Horribly unorganized. Delays upon delays and cancellations upon cancellations. All flights get grounded and then massive chaos happen when rain falls because of their dangerous short runways. It rains often in Sao Paulo, shut this airport down!

Good place at a good price, and in front of the airport. Just cross a footbridge.

(CGH) is one of two airports in the Sao Paulo city. If you are flying internationally you may have to transfer between the two airports. A bus (free) will drive you 1-hour to the other location if required. This airport was O. K. With some stores and services available. It wasn't a particularly large airport so walking across the location didn't take long. The airport was set-up differently and it did require some help understanding where to go.

Hotel lindo, organizado e limpo. Muito bem localizado, pertissimo do aeroporto, da pra ir a pé atravessando as ruas pela passarela, mas o hotel tem um servido de transfer também. Ótimo café da manhã e ótimo restaurante.

There's a big room nice and clean. They have a good breakfast with a low price and great variety of food. The best part is the distance between The hotel and The airport. No problems and great attendance. I recommend.

I like the speed of the reception (check-in and check-out) and the proximity to the airport of Congonhas.

Excelente food and confortable place to be.

The lady that checked us in was efficient but not too friendly. We asked her to bring new sheets and pillow cases because the ones we found were stained. After an hour we went to look for her but there was a guy at the reception so we asked again and got it straight away. There's an IBIS hotel cross the road with a bar and snacks, so we had no problem getting a beer :) warmer blankets available from a wardrobe. Looks like it's 5 minutes walk from the airport — we are not sure yet. In all — the cheapest and quite OK place to stay if you are having an early flight and want to avoid the early traffic :)

Apart from the big line to get checked in, it is indeed a good hotel, with a simple and decent room, but for a quick stay (if you do not fancy luxury), this is indeed a good hotel. Food and breakfast served are also good (nothing extraordinaty), but good for the hotel proposal.

Excelente localização, ao lado do aeroporto. Uma vista muito bonita da posta. Atendimento bem rápido e cordial. Acomodações super confortáveis e limpas. Excelente hotel e custo muito em conta. Recomendo.

The rooms were hot the AC didn't work properly and the overall experience was a bit dull.

The room is beautiful, the food is good but the dessert is great, service is excellent but the check in is slow a most people in line.

A nice hotel. Clean rooms and not expensive. It's very well located, however, the breakfast is expensive and not as great as the rest of the hotel. Beverage at the bar is also really expensive.

Just besides Domestic airport. Must be paradise for aviation freaks, as you can observe deprating/landing aircrafts. Others might be slightly disturbed by the nose of its engines. The area around isnt spectacular. But it offers a few restaurants just around the corner. The hotel itself is alright. Its got a bar and a restaurant. No Gym or Pool available.

Estou ligando de fora do país pra tentar conseguir uma informação no Ibis Congonhas, e já liguei 5 vezes, fico esperando que nem um ba**ca na linha e no final a ligação cai. Como podem os hoteis Brasileiros terem um nivel de atendimento TÃO RUIM.

The hotel is good and comfortable, on the other hand, the breakfast is not so good and we have to pay separately if we wish, in addition to that the shuttle service to Congonhas Airport is not free. I think the breakfast must have more variety.
