The double room was old and dirty, with a very unstable lock. Breakfast was nicely served, but the time dependent on when they decided to buy the ingredients. The host speaks quite good English, but does often not react, which is especially difficult, as you can not enter house only through his buzzer. On top of all they charged the room a second time two days later. Worst hostel we had in Rio.
Room is old and kind of dirty and so is the bathroom. Once again we were happy to have a travel sleeping bag with us as we werent so sure if the sheets are changed after each customer. But what is even way worse, is the noise. It's like there wouldn't be any door or window — had to use earplugs to get some sleep. The shower in our room was either completely cold or boiling hot — no chance to get any acceptable temperature for more than a few seconds (when changing from col to hot or vice versa). There are no bathing amenities except for very scratchy towels — there even wasn't enough toilet paper! The Wi-Fi is also unstable and sometimes disappears completely. When I asked about Wi-Fi connection the staff member just stated that he is already aware of that and that I should search for the energy and restart the router. From outside the hotel is in a rather boring area (few restaurants, no bars) even though Copacabana is close (basically the only positive thing). Free breakfast is offered and at least offered after asking, however one should not expect something special. After two nights we left and went to a better place.

Very bad Internet, never walked. Little predisposition of some of the hosts. A lot of street noise. And very small environments. It's just to spend a day or two, nothing more. Good location in Copacabana. All the shops nearby.
