Pousada Bonita Ipanema Hostel

This is easily one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, and I have been to 34 countries. The receptionists are friendly, helpful, and always down to chat. The rooms are quite large, and the beds are comfortable. There are lockers inside the rooms. The hostel itself is an adorable pink colour, and the 60s vibe is great. The pool and lots of outdoor seating is a huge plus. The breakfast is delicious — the coffee cake was my favourite part. The hostel is ideally located — it’s close to everything: beach, shops, and public transportation. I can not recommend this hostel enough. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Also, book the tours. Yes, they’re more pricey, but both tours that I booked through the hostel were amazing. The one that I booked outside was horrible. Amazing value.

Very unclear the conditions of payment by card and payment on site. On the web they tell you one thing and in the place another. Confused wrong! The location is relatively nice but the double beds were two mattresses of different height together.

We spent the last night in Rio in Bonita Ipanema. It as a good experience: quiet, clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Near to Ipanema beach, restaurants, ATMs and supermarkets.

Little competition anyway in this price level. Clean, pleasant, very well situated and rather quiet. Medium Breakfast.

Very good location in just three blocks from Ipanema, very close to a high-variety of restaurants, pharmacies, stores, the subway, etc. Nice staff with fancies for helping you, good room, swimming-pool confortable and energetic breakfast.

Very stinky matress. Did not like the breakfast offer.

Just expensive because it was the place where Tom Jobim uses to live. The rest sux. Cheap breakfast. Ambient is not cool and rooms have few charging spots. I was completely disappointed.

Beautiful place, good people, good vibes. 3 blocks from the beach! Highly recommended because you're going to want to come back.

Great place… Great people…

It is a very nice and nice place, the breakfast is spectacular and the people treat you very well. The rooms are girls but cozy, the cleanliness is very good and they change the sheets followed. The bathroom is shared so many times you have to wait to use it, but outside of that it is a very nice place to stay.

A nicely designed hostel. Our room for two was OK. Small and air-conditioned. Unfortunately, the rug, which was provided a. The bottom of a bed, had quite a gemüffelt.
The communal shower is fine.
The reception is nice and open 24h.
We were allowed to put our bags in a closed room before departure.
The breakfast is typical of Brazil. But in that respect everything was there.

Very good location in Ipanema. 1 block from the Metro, two from the beach and two from the lake. Very close to bars and retaurants. I recommend 100%

The double bed are two beds together and in the middle a super-incomfortable wire. The mattress is defeated. The room is very very small. The water to bathe leaves just lukewarm. Of 10 days we were changed the sheets 1 time and left us a frasada of 1 1/2 Square for a bed of two squares.
The only thing I rescue is that the hostel attendees have very good treatment.
For the price we were charged we got much better and equipped departments.

Went there for a barbecue. The place is nice, small but clean pool, the employees were nice and the whole experience went very well.

Nice Pousada, good atmosphere in the evening around the pool during happy hours.

Excellent location and friendly staff.

We enjoyed our one night stay in Ipanema. The hostel was very conveniently located, breakfast was good and it was easy to share stories with other travellers in the friendly atmosphere. We rented bikes from the hostel which made it easy to cover Copacabana and Ipanema. Room was clean and comfortable and free luggage storage and well researched city map was very helpful. Friendly staff.

Localização ótima. Quartos são bons, mas faltam ganchinhos para pendurar coisas, tanto no quarto quanto no banheiro. Mas tudo limpo e cheiroso.

Experimentei alguns drinks e o ambiente e legal.
