Hotel staff entered my apartment and took possessions. The hotel does not answer the claims. This silence clearly supports the behavior of its employees who in appearance and in my experience can enter, steal and continue to work. It's a shame because I was attended very kindly by the front desk people but sadly the robbery was done by the hotel staff and the management didn't even have the education and respect to answer my emails.

Um dos melhores hotéis de Copacabana! Quarto 605 parece um pequeno apartamento: Sala com sofá cama, cozinha americana com microondas, cama alta e confortável! Ainda teve mimos da equipe do hotel com chocolates! Aliás, equipe atenciosamente e sensacional! Com café da manhã bom apesar da pouca variedade.

Excellent location, hotel and breakfast in relation price quality. It has a pool on the roof with an amazing view!

Very well located hotel, easy access to copa and arpoador. Rooms have two rooms (bedroom and a living room) and a small balcony. The cleaning team is efficient, but late in the day.

Sand sand sand everywere in room, even in the bed (we are sleeping first night) Asked to clean floor, but wasnt done properly. Otherwise fantastic location and well equiped rooms.

Nice staff but the room was not clean and old. Room service is poor and stop too Early. Panini machine was broken and dangerous to use. Breakfast average. Only the lobby and lunch room was good looking.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, 19 — 21 September 2014 inclusive. After having flight delays and getting to the hotel later than expected (about 2230), we weren't impressed with the reception from check in staff member (female). She welcomed us then told us that only a single bed was booked. I disagreed with her and showed her proof that I had booked a Privilege Room with 1 double bed. She then went on to say that because there was more than one person staying in the room, that an extra charge would be charged. Room comfortable with just the basics. Bed comfortable and we had good night sleep all 3 nights. Room was cleaned on first full day we stayed but wasn't cleaned on the second day, and no cleaners had entered. We got back to room late afternoon and requested clean towels and some coffee. There was some noise inside hotel due to not much sound proofing. No ocean views from hotel. Check out was good and we didn't get charged the extra person charge that we got told we would. Breakfast nice and breakfast staff very pleasant.

Hotel mercure arpoador — hotel um pouco velho.

Excelente hotel, mas quarto com mobília antiga.

Great breakfast, helpfull staff, simple but efficient room with fridge, microwave, wet sink, and utensils, easy access to restaurants and grocery store, good internet Wi-Fi access, great location. Expensive like anything else in Rio these days, but reasonable price all things considered. We will likely come back here next time.

During my first stay in Rio de Janeiro for me was the proximity to the conference venue the Sofitel is crucial; in addition, the Hotel was the organizer advertised. The location is excellent, in close proximity are the beaches of Copocabana and Ipanema; all sports facilities are within walking distance; in the adjoining house are Surf — and Bikerental. The condition of the room 402 is not in accordance with the known to me Mercure homes, the bathroom is for an Apartement is very small; a vanity old furniture in several areas of the apartments are very worn. The front Desk spoke very little English, on arrival, not at all. The room was gereingt, however, were all the trash from the previous guests not emptied, the shower started Duschsets; the MOP in the bathroom, used and dirty. It took 2 attempts for the complaint, because the first attempt no one engl. Or spoke German. Altogether very in need of renovation. The Pool was at the time of travel in the inspection; the Frühstücksleistung is average. People who travel a lot is sure about this error been overlooked, but anyone who eyes not want to close and are staying in the Hotel wants to, the addiction itself better to one of the many other houses in the vicinity.
