Amazing hotel, friendly staff. Comfy beds. Bathroom was big. Breathtaking view! Breakfast was great with everything I could imagine. I loved that place and I’ll definitely come back :)

Very good location. The hotel is old and despite some rooms (not all) had been remodeled the hotel still need new intervention (i. E. The elevators and the other rooms). Gym, Restaurant and some upper floor rooms have one of the most beautiful view on this Earth.

The perfect place if the windows overlook the Bay-the view of the sugar head (Sugar Can) and the statue of Christ at the same time above all praise. The rooms are clean, spacious, the Metro "Katete"-next to the Internet-works, breakfast-very good. Prices are highly inflated. The area is not very calm at night, probably, but in the afternoon quite calmly. Nearby there is the Katete Palace and the park, where there is armed guards.

Noise air conditioning, safe not locking and only very hot water in the shower. Not very good acoustic insulation. Can hear airplanes from nearby airport. Good breakfast and nice staff.

Good place for a short lodging. Excellent location, two blocks from the beach and one from the Metro. I loved it!

I think without a doubt. Which was the best option for Rio de Janeiro. There is transportation, very well ubacado, spectacular view. Very friendly staff. Bueb Breakfast.

It is a cozy hotel with very good service. The kitchen is good and they serve some delicious caipirinhas. It is close to the beach.

Excellent hotel. Very good location, close to all types of transportation, bus, metro, taxi. The restaurant very good but expensive. Close to many cheap places to eat. Good view, large rooms. To go as a couple, with family or with friends. One block from the beach which is not so good but if it is nice to walk around.

A nice city hotel, very conveniently located near the downtown, the airport Santos Dumont, and the Catete Metro Station (5 mins. Walk) in a safe neighbourhood. Fantastic views over the Guanabara bay and the Pão de Açúcar. Very moderately priced huge rooms with views either over the Flamengo beach or the lush Parque do Catete. Excellent breakfast and a good buffet restaurant (lunch only) on the 12th floor with breathtaking views.

Bed was uncomfortable with really old springs almost getting out, plenty of bed bugs and an AC as loud as a car engine, the bathroom didn't have glass doors so it got easily flooded. The Wi-Fi is free, yet the impression you have is that they paid a child to run around the floor with the router because with your device absolutely still it will vary from no Wi-Fi to full signal. Thankfully I had my 4g which was way faster! The good things I could find: nice water pressure on the shower, friendly staff and really nice breakfast.

Great hotel, great location, however, the minibar prices are outrageous.

Old Hotel in all its splendor. Excellent location in front of the beach and very quiet surroundings and good accessibility to Metro and buses.
Breakfast is varied but can improve, and implement more items. P example. There is only one toaster for the entire dining room.
The other important thing is the lack of information to the tourist that in reception do not drive. They would appreciate having maps or the staff will handle certain places to recommend to their tourists. Out of that all OK.

Hotel located in a quiet area and well served, rooms not at the top but plentiful and varied breakfast.

Good Hotel in residential sector. To be perfect you would lack a pool but it fulfilled our expectations. Close to Metro, next to a museum and park.

Nice and clean rooms with air conditioning. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Location is great and walking distance from the beach and other shopping malls. Internet is fast and sufficient. Some rooms don't have a great view and face to other high old buildings. No complementary water in the rooms like other hotels but a bar fridge with the drinks, water and snacks are available in the room. Breakfast with a good spread. However not a full English breakfast with bacon etc. Taxis outside the hotel is available with a reasonable rate. The hotel also assist with tours in the city with outside service providers. Prices are reasonable and the service is trustworthy and very sufficient. Hotel has a gym and restaurants for supper. Hotel is only twenty one kilometres from the international airport. Safes are in the room to keep your valuables. Laundry services are also provided with fare rates. No deposit is required when booking in. All extras can be paid after booking out or day of departure. Rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels put in the rooms. The hotel is seven kilometres from Copacabano beach. Elevators are also a bit old but efficient. Televisions in the rooms with local TV stations. Hotel prices are reasonable and affordable for guest who don't look for to much luxury.

We found a worm at the salas we ate and a dead cockroach at the floor.

Great location staffvery helpful friendly most speak English. Restaurants and bar are good rooms are clean and fine only draw backs are Wi-Fi very slow no in house laundry but other than that I recommend the hotel for a place to stay.

Uma das melhores hospedagens do RJ. Atendimento excelente, prédio lindo com uma vista surreal da praia do Flamengo, Corcovado e do bondinho. Café da manhã completo, sem contar os dois restaurantes com pratos deliciosos. Recomendadissimo!

A localização é ótima para quem tem a intenção de conhecer os principais pontos turísticos da cidade. Próximo de praticamente tudo e com uma estação de metrô há cerca de 400m de distância.

Nice location. I had a little problem. I asked to leave the car for sometime after the check out, in the check in they said it was fine, but in the check out they said the garage was full.

The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Only the rooms were reformed the rest a bit dated.
