Great breakfast laid out every morning. Helfpful staff. Old-fashioned and simple. Great location. No central heating, though.

Rooms were not clean. Only 1 towel per room, No shampoo (had to request it from reception as was charged R$15 for it). The quality of the customer service depended on the person attending you (the concierge was friendly and helpful, the owner/manager was occasionally rude and would take naps on the couch in the reception). If you can, stay somewhere else. Not recommendable at all.
