Nice hostel with great breakfast.

I had an excellent 3 weeks at Maracujá Hostel, everybody made me feel very welcome from day one and the place has a really friendly atmosphere backing onto the main river in Paraty. The Hostel is located in central Paraty close to all shops and the bus station and a 5 minute walk to the main street & 10 minute walk to the beach an boats. The internet is super fast 30mbs, the breakfast is great and the rooms & bathroom are extremely clean and comfortable. Thanks again to Diogo, Rafael, Pati, Leandro & Nita for the brilliant 3 week stay at Maracujá Hostel!

Really nice place apart from the relative chaos of the center. Raphael and Diogo, the owners are rrally really nice and the hostel perfect if you are looking for a place to chill by the river and located closely to the center. Ask them for some advices, they know everything here!

Small and very noisy room. Breakfast very simple, it lacks fresh fruit. Friendliness of the owner.

We had booked four nights in the Tangerina Suite and had paid a two-night deposit. Nice place, helpful guy, good location etc. But the room smelled badly of damp and had a big damp patch behind the bunk beds. The smell was bad enough that we decided to leave without refund of our deposit. There were other minor hitches like an exposed socket and a dripping A/C unit, but the damp issue needs sorted.

Raphael is more than a host. It is great, and we had actually spent an unforgettable stay. He is nice, funny, good dancer and a fine cook. Mention most for its hostel which is well placed, clean, and very enjoyable from every point of view. I highly recommend it!

Pretty much best hostel I ever been in. Breakfast was amazing, the hostel owner make every morning fresh cake or a pie and there is a lady who makes you scramble eggs! Good air conditioning in the room, Wi-Fi was great. So nice we didn't want to leave.

I was 6 splendid days in the hostel Maracuja … a beautiful welcome from the people of the hostel, especially Camila … I attended with a lot of cordiality, and especially offered me a huge smile and a great kindness and warmth.
The lady who prepares breakfast, Wanda, is especially sympathetic and pleasant.
The hostel is very clean and has a beautiful view over the canal. It is an excellent place to spend beautiful days and enjoy Paraty in good company with people very willing to help you enjoy. They recommend the best rides and possibilities of the place. Without the advice of Camila could not have conosced or enjoy the music and culture of Paraty in all its possibilities. Breakfast by the canal, perfect way to wake up!

When I came here to stay I felt very comfortable with the friendly staff and they help us get a great deal on some local sightseeing and scuba diving, totally a fun spot to stay for a quite some time because there are amazing beaches all around!

De fácil localização, pertinho do centro histórico e comércio, ambiente muito agradável, donos super simpaticos e cordiais, fiquei num quarto confortável com banheiro, ar condicionado e excelente ducha. Voltarei com certeza, recomendo!

Just great: accommodations very comfy and lovely. A clean and quiet place, so perfect to spend weekS. There is much more than a hostel, with all kindness and good services that are offered by every single one who works at Maracuja.
