What an absolute gem in paradise! Mambembe Ilha Grande is the perfect place to stay on the island. Excellent accommodation and lovely atmosphere. Hostel very well maintained, with lovely and very helpful staff, offering advice on all the best places to see. Hammock heaven in the gardens, often accompanied by beautiful birds and butterflies, with the howler monkeys whooping in the distance! I cannot recommend this hostel highly enough!
Cool staff, helpful and caring, nice ambient, beautiful garden with rare species of birds.
