The service is not commensurate with the price at all. This is one of the most expensive hotels in Natal—they belong to a hotel group called “Roteiros de Charme” (Charming Itineraries), but the service is mediocre at best and not to the level of a hotel that touts itself as a boutique hotel.
The room’s door is posted with a list of 18 rules that guests must follow; the receptionist presented us with a form taking responsibility for beach towels, even though we hadn’t decided if we’d even go to the beach or the pool—he insisted that I sign the form even though it was blank.
I booked an Ocean View room for my wife’s birthday, but the view from my veranda looked at the hotel across the street (if you stretch your neck, you can see part of the ocean from the room). The internet was incredibly slow; while they advertise that all the rooms have satellite TV, ours didn’t work (we were told that it was a provider problem, but why wasn’t it noticed before the room was rented? ). They do not provide shower caps in the bathroom; the coffee maker in our room didn’t work. Parking is terrible—they have 4 parking spots.
During the night, I was bit by some insect and had an allergic reaction. My wife tried calling the front desk, but nobody answered. We had to go down and ask if there was a 24-hour pharmacy nearby; the reception indicated a pharmacy, but on the way there, I found one that was closer (thank goodness).

Exquisite hotel. Adore the décor and style of it, apart from the great oceanfront view it has. The staff is very nice and the restaurant very good.

Divine hotel, we were greeted with a few glasses of coconut juice and chestnuts and superb food. What if, to order the towels from the pool, you have to go up to the reception which are 3 floors. But this is a minimal thing compared to the view, the pool, the room, the bathroom. He would definitely come again. Thank you.

Location. This hotel is all about location. It is on the beach. It is in an old building but it is lovely and clean. The breakfast was enjoyable with lots of fresh fruit. A strange thing was that we never got new shower gel after each day. Even though we stayed there 5 days. Staff in reception were mostly very friendly.

The hotel 10 points, location, infrastructure and attention. The food in the restaurant is too expensive for what it is.

Spend some amazing days in your hotel, with an excellent attention of all the staff, lots of human warmth, the restaurant with the best dishes I tried in Natal. I would return without hesitation.

Great staff and wonderful restaurant. The hotel design is a bit old fashioned for European standards but well maintained and very clean. It's sufficiently small so you quickly feel at home.

Great food on a beautiful and romantic restaurant.

Traveling is my passion and I've stayed at some pretty amazing hotels on this beautiful planet. I honestly believe I may have just found my favorite! We've stayed in Natal, Ponte Negra a few times before and love it. It's such a beautiful, tranquil place. The Manary Praia Hotel is the PERFECT hotel for this area. The most important element of a hotel (especially in a foreign country) is it's staff, so I'll start here. We arrived late. 11pm. Diego at the front desk was kind and welcoming. Genuinely warm and really helpful throughout our week long stay. He was always happy to give recommendations, call taxis and make sure that we were completely comfortable. Gilberto who works the desk days, has the biggest, happiest smile and a beaming personality. He also speaks great English and is so pleased to help. Our new amigos who serve the gorgeous patio area restaurant, Joaô and Paulo, had our backs every day and really made you feel welcome. They speak mostly Portuguese and Spanish, but communicating is so easy. The ENTIRE staff was great! How often can you say that about a hotel? The Manary Paria itself is off-the-charts charming with beautiful rustic architecture and colorful local art and artifacts everywhere! As you take it all in, it strikes you that everything is impeccably clean and neat here. The lush grounds are a tropical botanical garden, perfectly manicured and cared for. The hotel sits right on the beach.
