It is good but the manager should treat everyone equaly and not only the extra rich people with dignity.

The view to the sea from the hotel is really amazing, excellent service, the people who work there are very friendly, the food is excellent, the pool, rooms, everything! No doubt when you have the opportunity to visit Fortress would return to the Sonata.

It has a good internal structure on rooms, but the location is not so good as another hotels because it stay in the end of beira mar avenue. Services sometimes fails too, and the breakfast begin late if you stay there by work.

The hotel is actually pretty good. Everyone is nice and the view when you wake up is amazing. The only not nice thing is the way you're treated if you simply don't want to eat at the restaurant's table and prefer to take the meal that you paid for and is over your table out of there and eat someplace else. I mean, you paid for that, right? It is our right to take whatever is on our table and we paid for it and not to be humiliated in front of everyone, that got me really pissed at the hotel. The rest is all good.

I was part of a 2 day workshop that used a business room in Sonata, everything was great, the technical assistance with the computers and sound equipment, the food served, the evening party and the accomodations.

Great location on the sea, and at the beginning of the safe waterfront for tourists.
