Visit it a year ago we booked for 3 days but we loved the nose and the chela we ended up staying 5 days, nice, good attention, good rooms, and above all very good vibes, ideal to meet new people!

A horror experience. We arrived and the room expensive… they took photocopy of my document and my girlfriend without giving reasons, during the night impossible to sleep as the air conditioner did not work because the hostel had low voltage (could not light or a lamp). Besides this at night there is no running water! Imagine that beautiful night of 29 ° without air conditioning and without water! Also at 7 am the people who come to work in the kitchen put the music to a volume with which it is impossible to continue resting.
In short… A night of TERROR!

Cozy and clean room with AC, though some guests were complaining theirs wasn't working. Great breakfast. Friedly staff. There was water / power shortage, but it wasn't the hostel's fault.

Excellent staff, really great at responding to requests great and small. Dorm rooms very limited space and door knobs to bathroom needs to be secure. Surprised how quiet it was being a party hostel.
Well organized with special events and meals offered designed for singles to mingle.

Except that the hostel is maintained at a high level and very secure. I think I should mention the amazing people who work within it and the excellent atmosphere that is in it. I arrived on vacation at the hostel for a week. As the only Israeli in the hostel and the only Israeli in Morro de são paulo, I did not feel alone from the first seconds. Just one of the big, warm family that accepts every one and call Che Lagarto hostel. Must note that after an amazing week in this hostel with the amazing people who included a lot of guests who came from different places in the world. It was very hard for me to say good-bye and leave my family. I came by accident and it was the best "mistake" that I had!

Overpriced and not as clean, nice common area, but in the end just dosent worth the money.

Muy bien la habitación privada! Tiene todo tipo de lujos. Limpieza diaria, aire acondicionado, TV por cable… Perfecta.

The 4-bed room (beds, locker, washroom) could be better. The bed and the locker are really small and the shower was broken in the first night but they got it changed after we warned that. Get your spanish ready cause most of the guests are Argentinean. The staff is really nice.

This is one of the best hostels I have ever seen! Great fun place and would definitely stay here again when I visit Morro!

Morro is a unique place, the best beach of Brazil that I and the best I knew. It is a lovely place.

Some comments, recommendations and shafts:
Purchases and payments:
• Accept credit card on all sides.
• Supermarket, it is best to do an assortment in Salvador (if before make scale) in morro everything is a little more expensive, perhaps in the spirit is where there is more difference. I am sure that agrees to buy it in the shop free.
• Gifts: it is complicated, hard to find something that don't say Bay and Morro. There are brands of surf and other crafts.
Walks
Nose:
• Climb the lighthouse for a side view towards the beach 1 and 2 to the nose. For the spectacular viewpoint across.
• Island beachfront 3. You rent a kayak for 1 hour and half, 15 reais per person, includes protective case for (non-submersible) camera and a snorkel. You walk, you reach the small island. You got a "valet parking" which you park and caregiver you (included in the ride) there… enjoy of weigh them and the pretty water (better than the natural picsinas that sell you on paseo de Boipea by 130 real and not see anything)
• Walk on beach 3 and 4.
• Strong, perfect for watching a good sunset.

Very careful with the issue of rides, the main costs 130 reais per person and they lie much agencies.
