Ngamiland East Hotels

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The receptionist was warm, friendly, and professional.

The Maun Lidge is a very nice hotel with large clean rooms. The restaurant is excellent. There is an attractive pool area. Airport shuttle service was comfortable and on time.

We only stayed here for one night, having been moved from our previous hotel. Sadly, they could only accommodate us for our final night — and I really wished we could have moved sooner.

I spent a couple nights in total here, camping with Absolute Africa, and really enjoyed my stay.

What a nice place this was! Thank you to Elsie, who was our first contact and what a reception!

Marije and Rene went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. From the friendly staff to the amazing dinners-everything was perfect.

My friend & I wanted somewhere outside the hustle and bustle of Maun so we could chill out for a couple of days after our tour. This lodge was perfect.

We felt like family as soon as we arrived. Verena and Russel are excellent hosts, the food was great, the rooms are comfortable, cute and cozy.

We had a wonderful dinner! Excellent Indian cuisine at affordable prices. Plus: the best service (by Phenyo) we had on our whole trip. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! So yummy 😋

Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff was very good always ready to help you. Good place to stay. Highly recommend.

Stayed one night after arriving from the UK via Johnnesburg. A shuttle picked us up from Maun Airport. We stayed in a Cottage room with breakfast included.

The place is very beautiful and relaxing. The staff were a 10/10. Sadly The food was small though. I ordered prawns and they were the size of a nail.

Good location, inhouse restaurant serving best indian cuisine. Very clean and family friendly environment and atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Great little housse well maintained, clear and secure. Owner nice and helpful. I recommand. Quiet place.

Lovely holiday home for families absolutely wonderful and the hosts are very helpful 🙂

Had an amazing week there.
The staff is so warm and welcoming.
Breakfast was good.
The place is so peaceful, away from city noise, loved that ♥️😍🫰🏽

Place is beautiful. Good get away for loved ones. Well done I will come again. Food was delicious. Beers cold.

Our stay at Boteti Tented Safari Camp in Botswana was truly unforgettable. The beautifully furnished tents are perfectly located right by the river, offering a unique and immersive nature experience.

I had a week at this lodge and it was PERFECT for my first week in Botswana: quiet, luxurious, good food and a mokoro trip on the river each afternoon. The staff here are 10/10: attentive, friendly.

The rooms are spacious and well kitted. The staff are friendly and helpful.

My stay was perfect for the business trip. There is a restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Rooms are clean and there is Wi-Fi. There is a pool but not sure if it is usable.

We had an absolutely stunning two nights at Leopards Plains with great service and always with a smile. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Beautiful, romantic getaway location. We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip and are so glad we came here!

Perfectly adequate accommodation for one night. Views over the river are lovely, and the outdoor dining terrace very attractive. Rooms a bit dark and dated, v clean.

We had a pleasant stay at Thamalakane River Lodge. We stayed there for two nights.

The lodge is ideally located right on the river, perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunrise, and set in a huge, fenced and secure area where you can walk independently along marked trails and

While there may be many places to stay in the town of Maun now, Island Safari Lodge is an absolute gem and hands down the best place of all.

Clean and quiet place to stay. It’s a bit far out of town so unless you have a vehicle it’s awkward getting in and out. Would stay here again if we came back to Maun.

Love the huts in the bush … maun is quite busy town. Jump street has a bush feel few whislt close to everything. Friendly staff and owner are open and friendly.

Friendliness from staff they make you feel home.
Welcoming so warm, you feel like you can stay more.

The service staff is extremely friendly, however, the house house itself is quite out of the way as a location, and it felt obvious that there needed to be security guards overnight.

Spend 4 nights and had everything we needed.
Had everything we needed. Simple, clean, air-conditioning etc etc.
Perfect. Thank you to the team.

I booked for my international guests for the 11th and 12th October 2024 and the place is exquisite. I know they are going to love the place.

Simply perfect. It is a well equipped apartment for a very fair price. Host Mmapula was very friendly, prepared dinner and even took us to the Makoro spot for a trip into the delta.

Best homestay, would absolutely recommend! Mmapula is so kind and has a lovely family. The rooms are very clean, there is AC, a coffee station and a fridge.

Very modern and chic rooms with great amenities.
Delicious, individual breakfast.
Safe parking available.

Very nice place to relax in Maun away for the busy town. Very peaceful.
