Great place for family vacation.

Speaking from a solid traveller experience, I can say that hotel are people. Being in a trouble because my fuel in a car got frozen because of the low temperatures, hotel stuff, here I'm especially mentioning Miljan, made everything they could to make this situation as less stressful as they could. They provided closed parking garage in another hotel for my car, and they provided three of us with extra stay in a triple room, including free dinner and breakfast. Also, because the car couldn't be repaired on the mountain, Miljan helped us with assistance of a mechanic Saša who took us to City of Pale where he repaired the car in his mechanic shop. We are amazed by the kindness and helpfulness of the stuff, from the receptionist, bar tender Milan, Draško and others who work there. Also, rooms and bathrooms were really clean and warm. Wi-fi connection was great in every part of the hotel, and conference room had equipment for simultaneous translation. I'm sure I'll come back again! There is no doubt when making a decision where to feel safe and secure better than in Hotel Avalanche.

Very nice rooms and swimming pool, lousy personnel. Rooms are clean and cozy, bed is very comfortable. Bathroom has plenty of towels, also very clean. A lot of room in the closet to place your clothes, cable TV, ok Wi-Fi (although tricky to setup, not well explained). There is a very nice pool in the hotel. You can go there and relax, swimm a little bit, visit sauna. So, what was wrong? When ordering room, I specifically asked for double bed. That was my only request. Coming in the room, there is no double bed, but two single beds placed next to each other. I went back to reception, said I wanted double bed and eventually gotten it after being persistant as I was ready to go away. The lady there first told me that single beds next to each other are the only type they have. She wasn't rude but I didn't feel pleasant. When I come to hotel, I don't want to justify my wants and needs. During the stay, we were inquiring about sauna, calling reception. We were told 'I think sauna works, to my knowledge'. So they do not know if the sauna is working, and that's where everything stops. Shouldn't they make me happy as a guest and take care of it, check the information and let me know. When checking-out, we were told to stay in the lobby while the room is checked to make sure everything is ok. They literally told us 'you can go now'. Once again, they weren't rude, but they weren't helpful and with smiles on their faces.

Nice, litle mountain hotel next to ski slopes. Has reasonable size rooms, offers spa treatment, has a restaurant with good food and live music during ski season. If visiting Jahorina, I recomend to come here for a meal rather then to any other place there. Try home made wild blueberries juice and signature steak in blueberry sauce.

Great place for stay and rest. I fullfils needs for all kind of relaxation. Great during winter and summer also.

Overall it was a good experience. It's positioned very well. Quite clean. Cosy. The pool is nice. Good value for money. The food was good and tasty. But, there are some buts… There are too many stairs for a stroller. The lobby is quite modest. Pillows are small and the mattress is too hard.

Rooms are great. People are friendly. Food is excellent. The only thing that bothered me was a temperature of water in a swimming pool. Kinda chilly, especially because this is a mountain. It should be a bit warmer, so one feels pleasure instead of chills when entering the pool.

Everything regarding hotel Lavina is perfect — service, accommodation, location, food, atmospehere and staff that is always polite, professional and with smile on face. I keep coming back here because it really feels like home. Ten plus from me :)
