I had reservations for a week and because of my sick and dying dog had to return back to the USA. The manager would not give me a refund not even a rain check or even respond to my email. Very bad experience. Could not and would not recommend this place to anyone. Sad little man this John is.

Awesome place!
John, the owner, is such a lovely guy and goes above and beyond to help you. We stayed for two months and loved the apartment. It was nice and clean, with all the dive facilities and we had a beautifull seaview.
Within 5 minutes you are at the beach and a supermarket is nearby. The balcony has mosquito nets so you can really enjoy being outside without being bitten. Overall our stay has been awesome.

We were super pleased with our stay at Divers Paradise! We were there for 8 nights. John and Luna were very welcoming, friendly and helpful — lots of individual attention if needed. It is a very quiet place, absolutely clean, and nicely appointed including a useful kitchen and a very comfortable bed. The freezer froze things quickly, so we were able to have a nice steady supply of ice cubes :-) The selection of furniture was ample and all comfortable. We especially liked the balcony which is big enough to be a whole room on it's own and even has a sliding mosquito screen if wanted. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and an easy drive to downtown or to the northern dive sites. It was super to have easy parking and auxiliary storage closets as well as room in the spacious apartment. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Bonaire. There is a reasonable grocery store an easy walk from Divers Paradise as well as an outlet of Dive Friends (to arrange dives and such — ask John for a voucher). There are also a couple snorkeling spots an easy walk from Divers Paradise — they are also places where you might enjoy watching the sunset. Be prepared to give Luna a lot of love — she is a sweet dog. We rented from AB (FOX) car rental and they did a good job. Upstairs (ocean view) apartments have air conditioning only in the bedroom but nice quiet fans to cool you in other places. Downstairs (garden) apartments are air conditioned everywhere.

John is a great host. Accommodations perfect! Couldn't have made it any better. Will certainly stay here again! Thank you, John!

Appartments close to the see.

In general, it's okay. Unfortunately, there's no A. C. In the living room, only in the bedroom. However, there's a nice balcony with sea view.

Outstanding accommodations! Economical and ideally suited for couples and families. Located just north of the downtown area, the apartments are centrally located to all the dive sites and restaurants on the island. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. A grocery story is only a few blocks away to make good use of kitchen in your room. John Schwind is a fabulous host and provides a personal touch, to meet all of your needs and guide to the best possible experience.

Fantastic apartment with a lot of space and very comfortable. John is a great host and knows what to do and where to go. The apartments are on a road near the sea and it's very quiet. We love to sit down at the porch and see the sun go down. We didn't rent a car because we're not diving and the host suggested that we rented e-bikes, best idea ever! We go everywhere on our bikes and are not bothered by the winds at all. The trip to Sorobon beach was a beautiful ride — and we saw flamingos on our way to and from the beach. Love the place, love the island.

Great place great owners, clean and has everything you need, Beds are nice and soft, We paid little bit extra for ocean view. Well worth it!, John the owner will go out of his way to help you. Would recommend this place to everyone.
