This is one if the worst hotels we have stayed in. We booked ad paid for two nights, but moved out less than 24 hours after arriving. There was no lift, the room was cold and here were no facilities for heating it. The water was barely lukewarm, there was no window in the room (apart from a small one opening onto the corridor! ) and the breakfast was miserable. There seemed to be only one person doing everything at any one time. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody! We found a real hotel in the city centre for the same price.
The area is run down, with no good restaurants nearby.

The only thing to like was the location.
We were taken to a room with no windows, it was really cold. We did ask for a heater but the answer was we don't have a heater. Considering the location and the cost of the room you would expect to have a warm room. We did ask for extra blankets they said they would bring them up but in the afternoon we still had no blankets. My wife went to reception to get them but the answer was… we have no extra blankets… we spent a sleepless very cold night an experience not to repeat.

We received a warm welcome even though we had not booked in advance. The whole hotel was immaculate and our room was spotless. The shower was hot, towels new and fluffy, breakfast generous. As with many Bolivian properties, the building's architecture meant no external window, but our room felt cheery and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — and our visit to the El Rey baths just around the corner. Our private eucalyptus-scented steam room experience was a treat!
