I must say a big THANK YOU to all the hotel staffs who were really sweet and friendly. Special thanks go to the chefs who prepared customised dishes as per my needs. Everyone made me feel at home. Last, but not the least, the true charm of Bhutan art, culture and tradition is present in every wall of Taj Tashi, yet no compromise to modernism.

Fantastic Hotel. Good hospitality They provide you traditional bhutanese wear for the bhutanese traditional show. Behind the restaurant near the meditation place you can have an antique look of the hotel good for photos. Indian food is not that good.

Taj is Taj, reliable and solid in service. But I rate a 3 due to the ongoing works within the hotel, which threw the service off by a bit! But still expect the same professionalism, warmth and a sense of belonging!

It is one of the 5 star hotel of Thimphu. It's very expensive but committed to provide world class service and facilities to its guests.

Upper scale hotel. Little bit expensive. But services and rooms are up to international standard.

When it comes to hospitality, I think Taj is the best and Taj Tashi in Thimpu was no exception. Located bang in the centre of town, it close to most restraunts and shops. The clock tower is about 5 minutes walking distance. We had two delux rooms and they looked exactly the same as in the pictures complete with bathtub and all. Since we were short of time we couldn't use the heated pool or jacuzzi, but we did use the sauna which was complimentary. There was a program and a bonfire every evening around 6:30 with local musicians, dance, archery etc. You will be spoilt for choice at the breakfast buffet and they also do packed boxes if you are planning to hike early morning. The staff were very polite and courteous. Infact they got me hot todi in my room every night because I was suffering from cold, all free of cost. Special mention to Karma at the front desk for being so helpful in getting me the paracitamol tablets on a day all shops were closed in Bhutan.

What can you say about a Taj property. This one surely maintains the reputation and also over does it. The hotel is elegant, beautiful. The staff is great and so is the service.

I loved the structure firstly… then comes the hospitality I think Tata Group must be the number one in Hospitality. From the beginning to end… all are excellent in their respective jobs. I felt like I must attend their training programmes. Last year I had been to Venetian Macau… now am proud of myself… we too are no way far from hospitality. Though it is Bhutan Taj… for me… Tata's means … my own.

The place and infrastructure is excellent and the staff is very friendly, and the food is awesome but all the luxury comes with a cost.

This place is awesome and a reflection of the Taj Hotels services. Everything from the warm welcome to our send off was truly world class. This is one hotel with the most beautiful rooms and views. The food quality and variety along with pricing, all put together was excellent. I really liked the complimentary costume dressing they offer for the guests as it is a unique experience.
