Perfect beach getaway, exactly what was needed away from the busyness of NYC. Most gracious and polite front desk staff. Beautiful room, on the beach. 10 min taxi ride into Hamilton. Will definitely be returning.

I love staying at Coco Reef! This is my 7th stay and I wish I didn’t have to leave tomorrow. The rooms are well done, sumptuous beds & pillows, I can hear the waves and see twinkling stars from my beachfront patio. I❤️ Coco Reef Resort!

Hotel staff was friendly. Loved the view from our room. We could lay in bed and watch the ocean. Private beach that was NEVER crowded. At times I felt I had the beach to myself.

The view and private beach is fantastic but the most amazing part of our stay is the staff, they really made us feel welcome, were pleasant and all clearly took so much pride in the resort, thank you all soo much.

Can't wait to go back, friendly & accommodating staff. Food is wonderfully prepared, a little pricey but that is to be expected. Cruising soon but hoping Coco will make me an offer that I simply won't be able to refuse!

Delente was one of the best waiters I've ever had and the management staff turned out to be very accommodating.

Had the best room just a few steps away from the stairs to the beach. Absolutely the best beach, ever. Not a fan of the art or gilt decor, per se, but the location is SO stunning, it doesn't even matter. I will most definitely be back! And Kerry at the front desk was wonderful, very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Location: The resort was centrally located, which made it easy to get to other parts of the island. Another plus, re location is that the resort was super close to Hamilton City, from where many excursions departed, and much night life occurred. Beach: The private beach was a nice touch— nice sand and no crowd. Beach chairs and towels were complementary, and the water was purely beautiful. The device down on the beach was slow, but available, nonetheless. Food: The main drawback was the food… it was simply awful and over-priced. The Caesar salad was probably the best thing on the menu. I’d recommend planning accordingly to ensure you’re able to eat at alternate venues during your stay. Staff: Carrie, one of the front desk staff persons was amazing. Super personable and knowledgeable. Another one of the women was the complete opposite, and she forgot to call for a cab EVERY SINGLE time one was requested. Rooms and Environment: The atmosphere is a bit antiquated; the property is definitely due for renovation. Price: The price was a bit more affordable than some of the other resorts, which was nice.

It was an okay place to stay. The rooms have a great beach front but It's hilly. No room service. If you don't have a meal plan with them, you might not be able to get dinner at the hotel when they have an event night. My bf and I starved one night there. We ended up going to a local supermarket and got a roasted chicken. We probably won't stay here again if we ever go back to Bermuda.

Beautiful beach front property in a quiet serene location. Excellent for R & R, snorkeling and enjoying the scenery. Restaurant had sufficient variety so you didn't have to leave the resort if you didn't want to. A microwave in the room would have been nice. One serious drawback was the cascades of stairs that was necessary to get to beach and other venues, plus a few very steep inclines — this was very hard on my knees.

I have been to the hotel many times. The first time we went was about 20 years ago… nothing has changed. Although the grounds are beautiful and the beach amazing, updating is needed, especially considering the amount of money you can easily spend there. Everything was very clean and staff courteous but showers are in desperate need of upgrading and more beach towels need to be available to guests. And for goodness sakes tone down all the gold. I would still go back.

I was there for just 2 nights and it was the perfect place to spend them. First off the location is amazing. On Elbow Beach right next to the resort named after it, but charges double the price. Granted theirs is a more modern hotel but if you just want to relax on the beach why pay double the price? In desperate need of a makeover, the rooms are clean and the housekeeping was great. They seem well maintained so the decor didn't bother me at all actually. I stayed in a beachfront room and the views were sublime. Breathtaking! The staff was excellent… very friendly and courteous. I ate at their restaurants exclusively and the food was great. Prices are high, but everything is expensive in Bermuda. Around noon time if you are laying by the pool or beach, the bar menu is brought to you so you can order drinks or food. Awesome! I spent the majority of my time on the beach and you couldn't ask for better. Beautiful sand and clear blue water. Perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The Modern Mart grocery store is just down the road if you want to pick up some items. My room didn't have a mini fridge so it would be hard to keep perishables. I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone who wants a clean place to stay with a perfect beach and views. If you're looking for 5 star accommodations you'll have to look elsewhere, but definitely consider Coco Reef. I'll be back!

The great thing about the Paraquet was it's location — it's one of the only restaurants on this stretch of road near Elbow Beach — and it's variety of food options for reasonable prices. The Paraquet had a ton of fresh and flavorful options including vegetarian. Their staff members are friendly. If you are looking for some good food option with reasonable prices, this is the place to be.

This place is very eloquent. Staff goes out of their way to help anyway they can. Best beach I have ever been to. Near perfect in every way.

For us, this resort was the perfect balance. The location is fantastic — the beach and the view are both stunning and it's a quick cab ride into Hamilton. It is also quite close to the bus route (they'll give you a lift on a golf cart if you prefer) and the rail trail. The rooms were clean and nice and the bed was very comfortable. Some might consider the furniture in the rooms dated, but that was not a problem for us. The staff was very friendly — though to be honest, I think that's just Bermuda. The service is good, but not super fast — if you are an impatient vacationer I would recommend somewhere else (maybe a different country). The food and drinks from the restaurant and bar were good.

I loved being on the beach. The view from my room was absolutely amazing. The housekeepers do an amazing job and are very efficient. The grounds are very well maintained. The furniture is from the "Golden Girl" era, but overall I had a wonderful wonderful time and would stay again. Oh and the drinks are DELICIOUS. They also have a service fee for everything, so bring a little extra cash.

Staff was friendly, hotel was was perfectly positioned on the beach and not to far from downtown Hamilton ($15 cab ride). Hotel decor was unique and pretty but furniture was dated. We would stay there again.

The second hotel in Bermuda, all close to the Atlantic Ocean! Bask in the sun by the sea! Very comfortable! You can go snorkeling and snorkeling at any time!

Eating outdoors at the coco cafe was much more affordable than I expected. I ordered the burger and it was delicious and came with an amount of fries that did not disappoint.

Room was nice enough and staff were very friendly but food prices and quality was disappointing. Breakfast was only mediocre at best. Being asked by a waiter how I wanted my chicken cooked for dinner was scary. Surely he must know you can NOT serve chicken half cooked. Overall I struggle to recommend this hotel. However the cat was very cute!

We went for restaurant week and the food was amazing! I had the lobster and wildmushroom ravioli then crisp duck confit followed by the in house stick toffee pudding. So good! We were all pleasantly surprised as Coco Reef was an unknown to all of us and we wanted to try something new. I will definitely be going back.

Convenient location on the bus network, friendly staff, and really good food at the restaurant (much better than I was expecting from first impressions).

Coco Reef is a great place to stay in Bermuda! The location is Central to the whole island. There is a bus stop at the end of the drive (staff is more than happy to shuttle you). The bus is a great way to get around and one can meet wonderful people on it! The local people are extremely friendly and love to tell you about their island. I can't say enough about the staff at Coco Reef! They're the best (including Coco the friendly cat! ) and bent over backwards to help us out in any way. I feel as if we've made friends for life!

Good experience. Pros: Amazing views from the rooms. I've never had a better view from my hotel's room my hole life! Period. Staff really nice and super friendly & helpful. Karry at the front desk was really helpful for our daily activity planning! Great to see people who care about their job. Great value for a generally super over priced island! Location on the beach is positive, 10min & 15$ taxi away from Hamilton, activities & with better food choices! Cons: Hotel is dated as other people have mentioned before. 300$ +/night hotel does not have 50cent tooth brushes? Don't mind paying for it, just buy some for God's sake! Service and food is super expensive & sometimes unreasonable, e. G. 10$ for a bottle of water?!?! Are you freaking kidding me? It was even cheaper @ eifel tower! Restaurant's food at best is mediocre. For the price, you can get best mid-high end fine food anywhere else in the world, but apparently not in bermuda.

Comfortable rooms, excellent view, great beach, very close to elbow beach. Restaurants at the hotel and food options are not good and expensive. The swimming pool is small. There is a supermarket, modern mart, about 10 minutes walk away, that was so convenient. There is a bus stop near the supermarket, buses run to Hamilton every 15 minutes. Its about a 10 minute ride to front street.

First off the beach is amazing here. Beautiful soft white sand with ample chairs and umbrellas to choose from. The water is crystal clear blue and you can find colorful fish swimming just a few feet from the shore. The rest of this resort is pretty average. We had a beach front view from our room which was spectacular but the rest of the room felt run down. The shower barely had any pressure which made cleaning up from the day at the beach fairly difficult. I wouldn't say the rest of the room was bad but it definitely wasn't great. The staff was super friendly when we interacted with them but getting their attention at times was difficult. We tried calling the front desk a few times to schedule a taxi and such but were always meet with a busy signal. Going to the desk itself usually resulted in waiting for a group or two before us to be handled. The beach service was lacking as well. They would come around maybe twice a day to take orders and even trying to flag them down was an issue. The lunch items we did order on the beach were quite good. We only ate dinner at the resort once and that was enough for us to not go back. We went on a Thursday night where the a la cart menu was replaced with a BBQ dinner. What that actually was is a very mediocre buffet style dinner that cost $50 per person. The rest of Bermuda is very expensive and that's pretty average price per person if not slightly more but that was our worst dinner of the trip.

Would give it no stars if I could. Brutal hills, in desperate need of update, tiny rooms, unsafe or kids on second floor rooms/balcony and really rough water at beach.

Did not stay here, but instead visited the beach for the day. When walking in the resort seemed really nice, with everything you could ask for (cleanliness, nice staff, etc). The beach itself was pretty nice, but relatively small.

The beach and location are terrific. The food is excellent but expensive, like most places in Bermuda. The place is generally dated with memorably bad style. For over $400 a night, you don't even get a gym or a concierge. The staff needs better training.

You cannot beat the view here! Rooms and staff were adequate. Food was ok. We usually walk down to the Lido for our meals, the food and staff were way better there.

We were very disappointed on arrival, we are elderly people and we were just given our key and room number and sent to find it with no help with our luggage and no idea where we were going, if it hadn't been for another guest we would never have found it, bearing in mind it was dark. The food is very good but the menu needs to be changed often as when you are staying for two weeks you exhaust it. The staff are very friendly, the resort is situated in a lovely place, the rooms need a little TLC.

Took a spur of the moment trip to Bermuda. Fortunately we stayed at the Coco Reef Hotel. The staff were very friendly and with it. The beach was stunning! The rooms were a nice size and layed out properly. The lobby and restaurant decor is beautiful and over looks the ocean, the menu is small, yet effective. The food is very good to excellent. A bit pricey, but we were never disappointed with any of the meals we had. My wife and I are in our fifties and have traveled enough to know when a hotel does things right. We live on Long Island and dine in New York City and Long Island on average, once a week. I recommend this hotel, we had a great time.

Even though I've only been to Bermuda once, this will be my only destination for future visits. Won't bother looking anywhere else. The location is amazing, service excellent, food is incredible.
