This is now my go to guest house and restaurant in Cotonou. I enjoyed my stay and meals at the restaurant. Everybody is friendly and accommodating.
Food is hit or miss depending on what you order. I've been here a couple times with mixed results. I hear the bagels are to die for, but I usually just order dinner. My issue is the waiters… keep a close eye on your receipt. The waiter did a weird change of my receipt after I paid. The change came back with a different receipt and believe it or not, part of my change was folded up and tightly wedged in the bottom of the receipt envelope. It was the most sophisticated switcheroo I've seen a waitstaff pul.

It is a nice restaurant, the service is good and the wine selection is even better, but the fish was undercooked, with blood getting out. One of my partners got a hair in his pasta too. Hygiene is the basis for everything. Since I became sick, I cannot give more than two stars. Sorry. Precise directives should be given to the cook.
