Bocawina was absolutely incredible! I didn't have the chance to stay at the property, but we ate there for dinner on our last night in Belize. The manager Artemio was amazing — he picked us up from our hotel and gave us a tour of the property before dinner. After dinner, we stopped near a field on the way home to take pictures of the night sky. Everything about this place is magical and breathtaking! I can't recommend it enough.

We did the zip line tour today and it was fantastic! Beautiful views and so much fun. The guides did an amazing job making us all feel comfortable, even the 7 and 10 year old kids! Highly recommend!

We repelled a waterfall today and had the best time. Our day also included some hiking and we brought a picnic lunch. Perfect way to spend the day with friends.

Loved my zip line adventure! Amazing guides, beautiful location, great food at the cafe after. Easy to get to after a little bit of a long bumpy road but very straightforward. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The most amazing staff members here. My husband and I had the best honeymoon packed with lots of adventure and beauty. I fell in love with Belize, but especially the accommodating staff at Bocawina who made every day so interesting. The food here is also nothing shy of amazing!

My wife and I loved our stay at Bocawina, we had an amazing and adventurous trip! We did Cave Tubing, hiked Antelope Falls & Bocawina Falls, Went on a tour of Xunantunich, and ziplined. Highly recommend visiting Bocawina if you are looking to visit Belize.

Some of the best zip lines I’ve done. Far superior to anything in the States.
We did the 100’ waterfall rappell. I found it doable but quite challenging. We got caught in a rain storm just as we started the rappelled, so the water level rose and the difficulty increased as our group proceeded, but the guides were very professional and everyone felt very safe.
The grounds are beautiful. As with many places in Belize the real highlight is the staff. Friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend.

Two waterfall spots available. The newer one is an easy hike throw the jungle. The older one is a step rigours climb with a view spot bear the top. Both doors have great pools to swim in. Both water falls are climbable to see even more waterfalls.

Bocawina is a beautiful beautiful place. I fully loved it. We by chance ended up visiting there. But now we want to visit again. The resort is in between forest. They provide different adventurous activities. They have 2 waterfalls nearby where you can visit. They provide longest zip lining in belize. It's a must visit.

Wonderful staff (Hi Rosa! ) and food. The grounds are lush and waking up to tropical bird song is lovely. Having fresh coffee ready at 5:30am is also appreciated for those who need that to function. My only critique is they should consider building a sound wall in front of the generator building. When it comes on (never at night) it's quite loud and points straight at the lodges. Other than that, our family had an incredible time. Thank you!

Absolutely phenomenal place… my favorite in all of Belize. If you're looking for jungle, wildlife, waterfalls, hikes, tranquility, peacefulness, and an amazing place to stay and enjoy, this is the place for you. Plus the owners of the hotel are such nice people… One of them even came to chat with us for 20 minutes. I honeymooned here in 2014 and returned again for the day in 2018. I definitely won't wait 4 more years to return. This place is exactly how I picture The Garden of Eden.

We did not stay at the resort but did use the zip line tour. Very cool experience. We had two guides and they were nice and knowledgeable. While we were waiting for our tour, we wandered all around the jungle campus. It looked well kept and peaceful. We will come back to try staying there.

Beautiful rainforest area with nice place to eat or get a drink after hiking through the rainforest and seeing waterfalls and so small Mayan ruins that haven't been completely unearthed yet.

I never thought I would enjoy zipline so much now in my 50's! The guides are fun and make the adventure even more memorable.

A nice hotel inside the jungle of Bocawina National Park. Their meals are delicious, and zip line is a must try.

Did zip lining here and it was awesome, Ricardo and Samuel were our guides and they were great. Really friendly guys who made us feel like pros and pointed out the great fauna and wildlife on the mountain. Really fun experience that I would highly recommend.

We had a lot of fun rappelling down the bocawina waterfall. The guide was really friendly and security was good.

I have often read or heard writers and speakers talk about 'the spirit of a place' and after my extraordinary five day visit, I understand what that means. Bocawina is such restful, happy, peaceful place due to Don and Stasha's beautiful attention to detail in the dining room and the food served, to the lush grounds, and the richly appointed room Randy and I shared. The amazing staff demonstrates the true Belizean spirit of kindness and the desire to share their diverse culture whether during a all day visit to Mayan ruins, a chance meeting on the grounds, or a delicious meal. If you have been looking for that very special vacation, look no further. Hugs to Rose and the rest of the staff. I will carry 'the spirit of this place' in my heart.

Rooms are generous and clean, mosquito net everywhere. Location in the middle of the jungle yet well-kept and clean. Very quiet place surrounded by natural beauty. Good quality-price ratio. Zip line was great with experienced guides. We walked and bath at Bocawinas’ waterfall.

The staff is great. 5 star… The loud diesel generator powering the property gets a 1 star. My two sons and I stayed at the Bocawina Resort July 27th & 28th 2017. They state "We are powered by our own Eco-friendly Hydroelectric power station and Solar panels with a backup generator;. I was in the Sunset suite. 100 yards away is a diesel generator that runs 24 hours a day and is loud. I am not sure how loud the generators are by the lower rooms. I could not hear birds or any of the animals due to the noise from this generator. When booking ask about the noise… I left a day early due to the noise, which they charged me for even after letting them know why I was checking out. The good… The staff is wonderful, beautiful property and walking distance to a few stunning waterfalls. Dining/food is limited. If you want a jungle experience hearing monkeys and other wild animals at night or birds during the day, this is not the place for you. If you want a very reasonably priced resort to have close access to waterfalls, Bocawina is perfect. I want both…

Hiked all of the trails awesome truly. Some of my best memories.

The guids are fantastic, the zipline through the jungle is fantastic with no compare. Very impressed by the safety measures and the redundancy used to make it so safe. Also with plenty of waterfalls you have excellent places to swim afterwards.

The rooms were extremely luxurious and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. The bar was a bit pricey, but the service was great. There are tons of activities to do at the resort, such as zip lining, bird watching, and repelling down a waterfall. They also offer many popular Belizian excursions off resort.

The hike to Antelope Falls was a lot of fun. Well worth the effort. It had been raining so the hike was muddy and the pool at the top was cloudy but that did stop us from jumping in off the rocks. Lots of bug spray is needed here, long pants is best cause they are hungry!

This place is out of this world. They have the best excursions here with an incredible staffs and guides. We did an Antelope fall hike and rappel then zipline with Silvan and Victor. They are the most experienced and knowledgeable guides you could ever find. They were so patient and always concerned about our safety. I can't say enough about the excursions they offer here. The staff here are so friendly and nice, the owner, Don, even loan my husband his hiking boots and stick so he could do the Antelope Fall hike. Where can you find that kind of hospitality anywhere?
The wild fig restaurant here has the best food I've ever had, and I've had plenty. Stacia, Don's wife, runs the kitchen, I haven't had a bad meal here, everything is incredibly delicious and flavorful.

This weekend has made me realize even more that Belize is a wondrous and amazing country. My friends and I visited Bocawina Rainforest Resort & Adventures and found a gem! A gorgeously, stunning FIVE STAR resort! The trails were awesome, and they treated us so amazingly well with top of the line service. I honestly don't know if we were ever told "no". The guides were also so incredible and knowledgeable. I'll never forget this weekend! Waterfall rappelling is also my new favorite pastime lol. I fully recommend this resort! A place definitely worth a repeat visit!

Mama Noots Eco-Resort is located within the rainforest of the Mayan Mountains in Belize. Has beautiful accommodations that have been all remodeled with a full-time Restaurant Bar of course Wi-Fi. It is off the grid so all power is generated by Solar in Hydro. It is a special location only being 12 miles from the Caribbean Sea it has the largest reef in the Western Hemisphere. This is a beautiful place to visit it's 50 acres within 7100+ acres in Mayflower Bocawina National Park. The park has five waterfalls teaming with wild birds 237 different species has been recorded on the property.
