A surprisingly beautiful mini resort. We just needed a 1 night hotel before flying out. It's gorgeous. The staff is exceptional. Nice pool, bar, restaurant and bistro. Very enjoyable.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were very professional, helpful and friendly. The most outstanding was Kimberly Mckay in the restaurant. She went way out of her way to make us comfortable as we had to have our food in the room. She was very professional and made our stay comfortable!

Beautiful environment, but very poor receptionist/customer service.

We stayed there for the last week in December 2017. It's a very lovely hotel. We felt safe The entire time. Saw firework for New Year's from the balcony. Poolside is beautiful. A little disappointed they do not have more Belizean food at the restaurant.
The front desk attendants were very friendly. And polite. Check in/out was easy. The ladies in the gift shop were wonderful, very helpful. We had booked a tour with a 3rd party company and they cancelled at the last minute. The ladies in the gift shop were able to get us a tour to Lamanai that same day. But the cherry on the cake was Mr. Edwin who drove the shuttle! He is lovely, friendly, helpful and professional, just a joy to be around. He definitely helped make our trip that much more fun. He drove us to the tour boat in Lamanai, to the Belize Zoo and picked us up when we came back from Caye Caulker.

Great customer service, willing to help at all time.

The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was very tasty. They also have some honest people working there. L forgot my purse and left it hand on the back of the chair went back to get it and nothing was missing from it.

Booked based on the reviews and photos from online. Looked great and was looking forward to a luxury stay after roughing it in the jungle. Once we arrived we were given the ground floor room closest to the busy road. LOTS of trucks on the road at all hours, very noisy. Check in took over 10 minutes. Pretty long in my opinion. Rooms were nice. Clean, well presented, and organized. However, very low water pressure and hardly any hot water in the bathroom sink or shower. Staff were polite and knowledgeable. Restaurant seemed expensive for lunch and dinner. Breakfast buffet was very good and I give them high marks for this area. Pool was well maintained and refreshing. Lessons learned: Get a room away from the main road. Check the hot water before committing.

Wonderful experience at this hotel. Highly professionally managed, it is a hotel that blends high quality amenities with local style, including the richly biodiverse garden around the pool, and the dark wood style of the outdoor court, that transitions the restaurant to the bar and pool area. Absolutely excellent experience, which is especially meaningful in the context of Belize city's rather run down setting. I would not stay in any other hotel in Belize City.

Perfect way to start out our trip to Belize. Highly recommend Best Western Plus. Especially if you are planning to do excursions that depart from Belize city or you plan to do the ATM caves, Mayan ruins, and anything inland but want to stay near the city. They offer shuttle services and are very helpful when it come to finding the best root to your day destinations.

Four star Best Western experience. Hotel has room for improvement. The rooms are very tired and in need of a refresh. The staff at restaurant and bar were some of the best I had in Belize. The grounds of hotel are well kept, and maintenance was good. The pool had broken items in need of repair and water quality was poor at best. Property is attractive and quiet. Felt secure at all times. Room is kept clean and bed fairly comfortable. Service good overall, but not outstanding. Meals are overpriced and lacking in variety. Construction of new road in front of the hotel creates lots of dust. The best thing is the closeness to airport.

This was my family vacation this year. My family always enjoy our stay at the Biltmore Belize. The staff and service is always exceptional. My family enjoyed the food, drinks, and pool.

When I checked in an impression was taken of my credit card. I told the receptionist that I was not comfortable leaving a signed impression of my credit card since it's basically a blank check. I was assured that it would be returned once I checked out and paid my final bill. It was not given to me. In fact, the receptionist was unable to find it since it was not attached to my documents. I've stayed in a number of 4&5 star hotels in my travels. For the Belize area and the price paid for a room, at a minimum the breakfast buffet should be included. The room was certainly not a "good value" for the money paid. The room itself was nice. The aircon and water met all expectations. The bed was a little hard for my taste but not bad. The restaurant and bar staff were top notch, helpful and friendly. The food was decent.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful experience. Food was absolutely delicious, breakfast buffet was on point with a large variety. Beds were comfortable and clean. Rooms clean and a nice size. Pool was fabulous and well kept. Bar was alot of fun, bar tender was kind. Highly recommended!

Beautiful facilities and rooms. Nicely done landscaping and potted plants in courtyard. Fairly priced restaurant, great food with super nice employees. Nice selection at pool bar too. Spotless room and wonderful bed and linens and towels. We stayed to spend some time at Altun Ha after traveling from San Pedro and before returning to the US the next day. Recommend 100%

The Best Western Belize Biltmore has very elegant atmosphere and the decor is very relaxing. The service at great. I enjoyed my visit to the International Business Men in God conference!

Good location, easy drive to all the sites we wanted to see. Clean rooms, good service. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that there was a lot of construction happening at the hotel when we were there. We were without water for an afternoon.

It's a nice place with a pool and many other amenities. The only issue is the food from the restaurant because it always feel like it was cooked the day before. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly and it's a clean.

Not bad Hotel, equipped with pool and restaurant inside which does not cook badly. Unfortunately Belize City is a city devoured by hunger, so wandering around its streets is not even less recommendable in the Evening. As a result the only Procato restaurant is the one inside the hotel and luckily we had arranged some very out door trips otherwise they would have been 2 days thrown away.

A very nice hotel with great food! I really enjoyed the food here, from the fried jacks (which I wished they served more often! ) to the piña coladas at the bar. The serving staff was very courteous and kind. They were running around the restaurants and serving things very fast and efficiently. There is a lot of mosquitoes that are around. Coming back one day around 5 pm, I saw that the housekeeping were still making my room. Even worse, they leave the door wide open. For me it poses an issue of safety and also explains why we keep killing mosquitoes in our rooms or wake up to fresh bug bites. That being said, the rooms (when they make it) are very neat and organized when they make it. Aside from that one day, I come in to a fresh room that is thoroughly cleaned. When I come back, I would not mind staying at the Biltmore again!

Approaching the the hotel, I notice the parking lot was vast and spacious enough to park any kind of vehicular types. The interior of the plaza is modern and clean, and it has a wide range of staff, ready to greet and service anyone. I did not have time to experience the room accommodations, however I did manage to sit down and brunch on their outside restaurant. During my dining, the waitress was lovely and professional. The menu was diverse and the dining area was open to all sorts of activities. Many residents and tourist was dining at the same time and the bar was open for cold alcoholic beverages. There was also a outdoor swimming pool that caters for both children and adults. Overall, the hotel is just a few miles away from downtown Belize city. There is not much of a nature view around but yet it is peaceful enough. Since my vist was around the month of June, many residents set up private luncheons for their kids graduation party. As well as on the upper level conference, there was a meeting for Healthcare with many doctors. This clearly shows that the hotel is open to service and provide a place for your personal and public events. Overall it was splendid.

Would not recognize this place as same Best Westerns state-side. Recently renovated and updated rooms were quite comfortable and more "upscale". Courtyard has a pool and open air bar in a tropical-style garden setting. Staff were wonderful; pleasant and accommodating. Restaurant was decent.

Edited — Rooms are super clean, if you actually get one on time. Check in says 2pm however they seemed to not have any clean rooms until almost 5pm. Staff at the front desk was super slow, however, when I said something to the mgmt, they did take care of things and brought a complimentary fruit tray. The bar staff was great and the buffet at lunch was decent.

I find the hotel excellent the transport service is fabulous I visit again because they came to us to the airport and leave and took us to the next day to water taxi in general FABULOUS!

Great hotel. Rooms, furniture and linens are updated and clean. Very nice pool area. The air conditioning units in each room are newer and very well maintained. Great price for the room. Nicer than any Best Western I've seen in the US. We did not eat in the restaurants, so cannot speak to the dining experience in this hotel.

Best western very friendly staff — from front desk, gift shop, housekeeping, restaurant, shuttle service & bar, everyone was all smiles & ready to assist. Plenty of parking which is nice to have in belize city. Made a great home base for seeing belize. Grounds were kept beautiful, staff was sweeping the patios & cleaning the pools early in the morning. Room had safe to keep belongings.

The Best Western hotel has a very nice atmosphere to stay and relax in pool clean area. The staff are very polite and friendly. The restaurant and its outdoor area are very clean and well maintained. The pool area is cool and delightful. Breakfast and lunch buffet provides variety of fruits and food. The room that I stayed in second floor, had a view to the pool. It does not elavator, stairs are not high though.

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel on our last night in Belize. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress, Kimberly during our breakfast was amazing! So attentive and caring to my family and me. Highly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at the Biltmore Plaza now 9 times in the last year and a half whilst on business in Belize, just arriving home today after my latest visit. The reason I come back to this hotel is its comfortable and not too big therefore it’s friendly. All the staff are great and always make me feel welcome. A special shout out to Marcella at the front of house, Blas one of the new shuttle bus drivers who took me to Riverside Tavern for dinner and picked me up again, Triecia at the pool bar who always has my Belikin ready for me plus all the other staff, everyone says hello and greets you with a smile. The team have been working hard to renovate the hotel over all my stays and every time I return something is new, this time being the change to the layout of the pool bar and it looks good. Thank you to all the team and I will see you again next year.

My room was recently renovated, it was impressive considering earlier reviews. I like this place. The resturaunt is acceptable, the staff are friendly. If you think they are unfriendly then you likely made them that way. The people here simply move slower. I just accept that when here…

Nice rooms. Great pool area. Swimming lessons during summer worked extremely well for my nephews. I have no complaints about this place.

It is an excellent hotel with all the comforts in the room (even with desk) and with comfortable beds, ideal to rest after a long trip.
It is very nice the restaurant where you can choose between indoor and outdoor.
It is close to the center but located on the road where there is nothing interesting in the vicinity. Excellent taxi service.

I had the opportunity to travel to Belize City on a business trip. I stayed at the Belize Biltmore and found the hotel to be excellent in every way. In addition to the meeting room we used, there were several other meeting rooms of varying sizes. The fitness area offered much more than I would have expected — it was more like a health club. The restaurant served great food with a buffet or menu service. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and super helpful. All the AV equipment that I needed was available and when problems occurred (as they always seem to) expert help was available instantly — problem solved quickly. It was actually my equipment that was the problem. There were upgrades in progress at the hotel that, apparently will transform the pool and bar area. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone in Belize City, particularly any business travelers.

This place pretty much saved my staying in Belize. I was supposed to stay in Caye Caulker for half a week, but couldn't stand it. Mostly it had to do with bad weather and the non-existent internet connection. I then decided to move back to Belize City and Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza. The place is good, the staff very friendly and their restaurant great as well.

Ms Natalia Sedaccy is the best, when it came to planning my grandmother's 80th birthday party, she was there to assist us every step of the way. The room was perfect, the food was delicious and the service was awesome. Thank you Belize Biltmore Plaza. We will definitely be back.

I like this hotel a lot with the exception of the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean and the pool area and landscaping are beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful and the Wi-Fi works well. The restaurant however was not good. We ordered a pizza, tropical on one half and supreme on the other, and both were really bad. I've never tasted such sweet tomato sauce in my life, the cheese was dry and the crust didn't even resemble pizza crust. Im not super picky about pizza but this was possibly the worst pizza I've had in my life. We also ordered fettuccini Alfredo, which was ok but tasted like it was from a box. The last thing we ordered was cheese cake and the texture and flavor were so bad we couldn't eat it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel but if you can, stay away from the restaurant.

Overall, this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The taxi that drove us to the hotel from the airport (a total of 10 minutes) cost $25 US dollars. When asking the lobby about the current bus schedule they stated they had no idea when the bus ran. Since it was late in the day and we had bad luck with the taxi, we decided to eat dinner at the hotel. The service was extremely unprofessional. We spent close to 45 minutes waiting for our food and the food was poor and priced very high. The table beside us was told they only had one out of four steaks available that was on the menu. When the table asked for the price of the steak he had wanted for the one that is available, the manager declined and stated he would not allow it. After waiting another 20 minutes for our check, we heard there was happy hour going on and went to check it out. The bartender stated she didn't have any kind of happy hour menu for drinks, but that it was happy hour. We ordered one rum and coke, which was poured exactly one shot and came to a total of 10 belizean dollars. Free Wi-Fi was offered for all rooms, but our room didn't reach the wireless service so we had to go down to the pool if we needed anything. Overall, bad experience and will not be back.

We stayed here from October 1 thru October 7th, 2015. The room was clean, although needed updating a bit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay due to the excellent staff. Everything we needed was provided immediately. Many thanks to Denise in the restaurant, Eduardo and Gilbert from the bars and the front desk staff. Would definitely stay here again if we ever went back.

It is a very nice place here.

Far from the city. Expensive. 148 usd for a simple room. Taxi cost 5 usd for the town each time. You can stay better in the city spending less. If you need to the airport have other opitins close here. Easy Inn 0.5 miles ahead cost less the 65 usd.

Go across the street to the Lebanese Restaurant. Get a different hotel.

A colleague and I are visiting Belize prior to launching a five-year partnership project with a national institution. We came to identify hotels, transportation services and other amenities for our work and the teams that we will send into the country. The Best Westrn in Belize City will clearly NOT be on that list. Nasty (feces on the sheets), miserably hot rooms, a corrupt staff (the Wi-Fi voucher number we were given did not work, so a staff member logged us in to the admin Wi-Fi access — — and then proceeded to remotely access the laptop. We watched in absolute disgust to this blatant violation of security before turning off the computer), and a completely inattentive (actually quite rude) restaurant crew made for a horrible first impression of Belize. The Best Western Biltmore in Belize City is clearly one of the worst choices in lodging one could make and is certainly one that we will recommend against. It was a huge booking error on our part.

When I checked into my room, the sheets and pillow cases were made but NOT CHANGE. The water glass and coffee mug were used but not replaced. Very disgusting! Surely would not return to its restaurant for its food and services if I have other choices.

Best western is a nice place to be love the atmospher.

Food and service is very good.

Love there Home Made Cheese Cake!. It might cost a lil but its worth it.
