Upon arrival, having stayed here before without a child — we was greeted by a lovely concierge. He couldn’t of been more helpful, parked our car up and took our things. After this though, the hotel went and has gone massively downhill since we last stayed in 2018. Reception were cold and uninviting, the hotel restaurant forgot our coffees which we had to get up and order ourselves … didn’t start off great, didn’t end great. We will never return and it is far from a family hotel. If you have any children, 3 years old or younger — do not book. They cannot accommodate you for food or ANYTHING really until at least 19.00 and leave you waiting in reception for 45 minutes to check in with nothing. It was absolute chaos, really shocked — will never return. We decided to avoid breakfast altogether and just get out of there. So yes… a very beautiful hotel on the outside. Shame about inside. All the best.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff but while we were there for a romantic stay, we found ourselves in the middle of a hostel (drunk people in the corridors until the middle of the night and helpless staff, the management having given its agreement). At such a price, we expected better!

The very cosi atmosphere of the Room Valentin, pack as indicated there was nothing missing, only pt flat but it is a personal opinion, the price of care per person is for me a pt low. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is beautiful with a modern and subdued atmosphere. Room spacious and clean. Good quality bedding. Quiet hotel. Too bad it was not decorated for Christmas (no Christmas, no light).
Breakfast (which we eat in the room) was perfect, wide choice and quality. One of the most positive things for us was the sympathy of the staff ☺️ everyone welcomed us warmly and that's great!

Beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated and welcoming and helpful staff! We had little touches for our wedding anniversary and even the right to be accompanied by our dog perfection in a 5 star located by the lake, quiet. We have a great time!

The wonderful place in front of the lake is a precious gem. The bar is nice. The personnel is high quality. Awesome spa.

Everything is perfect! Staff super nice, hotel renovated with taste, spacious room and clean. Spa and pool are a plus. The bar lounge is very cosi. And the icing on the cake to the restaurant! The top has tt point of view. I recommend the ss of hesitation. We had already been staying there 2 years, it was a gd pleasure to return to this beautiful place that has been revamped. We will go back there well may be.

5 stars because they have the infrastructure for electric cars and it helped me greatly when I was in a hurry.

A beautiful building and a good location close to the lake. However, we felt too much as soon as we arrived at the reception. Wanting to serve us at the stone spear we were assigned a room that was not ours. The common areas are of poor cleanliness (dust, hair, stains on the tablecloths. ). The staff is nice but there is still efforts to be made: the bartender is wrong table for our order and reproaches us for having changed table (we had not moved), we almost laughed when we asked for a jug of water at the restaurant to finally forget to bring us the bottle ordered, we had to claim our coffee for breakfast. The bubble bath in our room was not working. When we reported it when we left, we were criticized for not calling the front desk to fix the problem (but hey, it was late, we were wet and naked, the moment was wasted anyway.
A 5-star hotel that I think would be worth only 3. And again. Too bad because there is a really good potential.

The hotel is amazing. The view is even better. I totally recommend this hotel! The room service could be little better. They are not active* enough. But overall a true 5 stars hotel and a great experience.

Very nice hotel. I stayed here only one night; nevertheless, the room was very nice and large. It was clean and new feeling. The hotel is 20-30 mins from the city center, and taxis are expensive, making the journey a bit difficult. Breakfast is excellent. Staff was super kind.

Very nice hotel! The room was nice, the bed was even nicer. What was most impressive though was the dinner. We got the menu of the month with a wine pairing and it tasted just perfect.

I bought a good GroupOn to know this place. The setting is beautiful, the reception very smiling but no one to guide you.
The price of the voucher for one day access was more than 44 euros for 2 people it was not worth them at all. Disappointed.

Very nice castle, we were very well received. The setting is pretty, the fitness spa services are superb. The room was spacious and functional. Everything to spend a real nice time and relax for a weekend.

Beautiful Hotel. A wonderful reception with very friendly and inviting receptionists. Very spacious room and very well equipped. We even had a drink at the bar, which was not normally included in our booking. The breakfast was succulent with an important choice and very decent opening hours. The spa is very relaxing as well as the private massages that we little make a couple in the same room. The gym is also very well equipped with even group lessons. Only small negative point, the building has left the castle which makes a little stain.

Seems like it was recently refreshed and it looks great. The staff is very helpful and the lake side location is relaxing.

Overrated hotel. Scenary nice and calm. Hotel service bally reception good. Service in hotel middle. For the rest, overpriced for the quality. All based on external waow effect, nothing much when you scratch behind the surface. A pitty.

The hotel is very nice for a weekend with friends or lovers. The spa is very complete and relaxing. As for the room, it is completely comfortable (especially the pillows with memory shape) as well as the whirlpool. The breakfast buffet is varied and very good. All of course in a beautiful setting. It's a no-fault for me.

We only did the restaurant, for a dinner. It was good but the room was crowded and the service did not follow at all. Damage.

The care area is super relaxing. On the other hand, on the side of the balneotherapy, I believed in a public swimming pool. Children under 16 have nothing to do there. I pay to relax, not to be able to go to a pool or kids scream and jump everywhere.

Comfortable and pleasant baths one can small (pool mostly) Cocktail perfectly run 20/20 on the kitchen side 18/20 all items are not always warm and coherent breakfast more than reasonable we will come back and thanks to the staff on this Believe in a palace always listening.

Nice, little spa and very good massages! The spa is nicely located with forest view. After the massage, you can relax on a heated chair with panoramic lake view.

Our banquet was very fancy and fantastic food but many of my friends who stayed the night were not overly impressed by the rooms they didn't find them to really be 5 star quality rooms. Otherwise enchanting space.

This is a nice hotel, especially by European standards. It ranks up there with some of the good 4 star hotels in the US. Rooms are fairly up to date, bedding is very comfortable, as are the pillows, and they have real King sized beds… Something you rarely find in Europe. Halajula! Staff has been friendly. Food is average, but I think that's just normal for the region. Hotel is very nice, not run down at all. Quite modern and well kept. Conference rooms are nice and work well. All in all it is a nice place to stay. You can't go wrong here.

Hotel good, spar and fitness area sufficient but without flair. Restaurant very cluttered, that means you just find nowhere to be offered. Very bad: You take 50euro deposit for any additional benefits you might take. Don't go.

Visited twice, once for drinks in the bar, once for a evening event. Nice place, cool bar and the food was good but parking is a nightmare! No much space and when there’s an event, it’s uncoordinated, on street parking and sometimes even in other businesses parking lots which can get you towed. When you address this to the venues staff, they absolutely don’t have a clue and just don’t care.

A five star hotel that has been a little over the years. The spa area is very small but nice. The food was impeccable and creative. The surrounding area invites you to linger. For a weekend with Brussels visit highly recommended.

Nice place, good service, nice bedding. Some defects of wear and maintenance (task of coffee on the carpet, lamp of the toilet which "detaches").
For the price of the room it is a pity that access to the spa is not included in the reservations.
Moreover, it is not always possible to be received in the room overlooking the lake in the morning at breakfast (alternation with a room in the dark back and on chairs and extra tables (well hidden by the tablecloths) ).
The restaurant, certainly not given to all the stock exchanges, offers quality dishes (the breast in particular).
In short, satisfied with the stay.

I stay for a night at this hotel due to a 2 day reunion which we also celebrated at the hotel. Very good and nice facilities. Cosy atmosphere. Lunch and dinner in their restaurant good and very good deal. Aunq I could not enjoy the surroundings the views of the lake were very nice. Very spacious and clean room. The only downside is that the whole hotel was full of small stretches of stairs, and the elevators a little hidden.

Wifi problems. They will send you to their other smaller hotel nearby, wothout reducing cost, unless you argue!

I am disgusted with the noise all night in the room it overlooks the stairwell of the gends who cried all night! You could hear the sound of footsteps.
Soap for the dispenser look at the pictures traces of varnish of the previous person radiator claw dining room with black Scotch cable yellow electricity never seen this in a 5 star hotel watch the photos keep a cocktail to my wife With two dead flies in the green look at the photos the server even apologized an hour and a half waiting for a cocktail never took the room 201. I paid €165 for a night in hell.

Very nice venue in lovely surroundings. Good restaurant. Excellent bar (do try the cocktails! ). Unfortunately recreational options at the lake it is on are very limited.

I came to this castle for a piano concert. The concert room is not much good enough for such a professional concert. It was impossible to see the performer from behind the room. Acoustic of the room was also not special. It was just a regular event room.

Beautiful hotel right on the lake. The rooms and very clean and comfortable. Not to mention pretty upscale. The front counter employees spoke excellent English. There is parking on site.

Felt glamorous in this spacious place. 2 person Jacuzzi in room. Brought our own champagne and chocolates. Lovely time. Only downside is long wait to reach someone at reception. Called from outside several times and never reached anyone. Put on endless hold reserving and difficult to reach reception promptly when in the room. Fantastic breakfast and amenities.

A little weekend getaway, in a beautiful room with a great view of the Lake and a bubble bath. The only downside of this room was the bubble bath because the tub is very small and so either my legs in the water or the back but not both.
We ate at the restaurant of the hotel. We took advantage of the menu discovery. We loved the simple and original dishes at a time.
For us it was a weekend successful.

An excellent business hotel, well equipped with a gym and pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Beautiful surroundings in terms of the lake, close to the small Genval town and the E411 highway. Restaurant and room service are very good, minibar well stocked and a fairly late opening bar area.

Hotel looks chique on the outside, but the rooms are standard fare business hotel, plus they look a bit tired. We tried the spa: not impressed. Cramped and noisy pool area, plus a collection of treatment rooms. The spa staff was uninspired. Restaurant was actually not bad. As a business hotel it's OK. For a romantic weekend getaway we're going somewhere else next time.

A little weekend relax together in a beautiful room equipped: TV, Wi — Fi, mini-bar, coffee/tea machine, great view of the Lake.
The spa is a little small given the number of room, but it includes a small pool, a hammam, a sauna, showers at different temperatures and a jacuzzi. A relaxation room is also fitted to quietly read.
We have not benefited from the restaurant, preferring to go eat elsewhere around the Lake, at the Shangri-la — the close first, at the Laguna then.
Breakfast is gargantuan and fits all: sugar, dirty, bread, jam, cereals, salmon, pastries, coffees, (also soy) milk, orange juice, grapefruit, strawberry, sausage, bacon, All at will and stretching from 7:00 to 11:00.
We came back rested (maybe a little too), but very happy with our weekend.

Pool and spa. HS during our week. Otherwise no complaints. Great time in a relationship.
