My sister booked this B&B for our Gent and Brugge visit. We debated whether it would be better to stay in Gent rather than the suburb, but when we arrived at the B&B Maison Lize, we were blown away by Sofie’s hospitality. She took great care of us, was very attentive, explained everything in details and made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable.
Breakfast was a wonderful experience. Sofie sourced the breakfast items as much as possible locally and even made her own yoghurt, jam and juices. Eggs are from her own chickens. Everything was of high quality which we can taste. We very much enjoyed our breakfasts.
We’re so glad to have stayed at B&B Maison Lize rather than in the city. We would highly recommend our family and friends to stay there if they visit Gent or the surrounding cities.

Its a great place. We stayed for two nights. If you have small kids, they have a small outdoor play area which will keep them busy while you have some quiet time. Location was great. Short drive to all places you might want to visit in that area. Breakfast was fantastic, more than enough to not think about lunch for a while (good when you are on drive). Fresh breakfast was something else, gives a good start for the day. And plenty of good options for kids too.
