Good and clean hotel with comfortable rooms. Lovely views,, in a relaxing and quiet area. I stayed there for one night only. But I liked it. The staff are smiling and helping. Prices are reasonable… they will give u some tea bags 'coffee and ceramic mugs along with some paper cups as well.

Very basic, but good value. Walking distance from a late opening KFC, and easy walk to plenty of pubs and shops. Very convenient to most things.

Stayed here as it was convenient to a gig we were going to at Castlefield Bowl (10 mins walk) — Hotel is very basic and needs updating. — Breakfast was OK for the price. — Only real gripe was that the room was uncomfortably hot which was weird as all the hallways/communal areas etc were air-conditioned. Definitely recommend bringing your own fan! OK over all but nothing more. A case of you get what you pay for!

Could be better. At least the price is fair enough and staff is very helpful.

It's a night £50 hotel so you can't expect the Ritz but it ticks all the boxes clean and tidy.

I generally stay in Travelodge hotels and this is my first time in a Campanile hotel, and I'm rather impressed. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the room was of a good standard and clean, the breakfast (full English) was much better than some other hotel breakfasts I've had. Plus free parking which is a bonus. All in all it was a pleasant and relaxing place to stay. And the addition of a power socket with phone adapters next the bed gets a big from me.

Good location, within easy walking distance of the city centre. Very comfy bed, and good facilities. Would recommend.

When I first saw the hotel on their web site I thought it was very good hotel. I booked for a family room on checking in I was given a room with two small bed. The bed was uncomfortable. We were unable to sleep all night. The interior was very old. This is one hotel that me and my family do not want to think about.

Hotel Campanile feels more like a hostel than an actual hotel. For one, every single corridor reeks of cigarettes. Not only that, but their "super fast Wi-Fi" is anything but "super fast". It is based on an extremely busy main road which is not somewhere that you would expect a hotel to be based. The only positive points about Hotel Campanile are that the heaters work perfectly and warm the room up in a matter of minutes, and the hot shower water comes out at a perfect speed and you can alter the temperature to whichever you desire. Furthermore, the beds are heavenly.

It's ok but the rooms could do with being a bit tidier and it would be good if it didn't stink of skunk as you walk through to your room.

Spacious room with canal view. Great free parking. The excessive cost considering that breakfast is not included.

Simple and good priced Hotel with parking included quite close to downtown walking. Old Trafford is also nearby to watch a game.

Great hotel it does exactly what it says on the tin!. Very comfortable beds me and my son slept like babies two nights we were here. Great location for old Trafford 20 min walk. Clean rooms powerful shower and really tasty food in restaurant. Ample choice at breakfast time with shopping and fast food restaurants within 5 min walking distance. I'll be back here to stay again. Very happy with everything. My one fault and reason for not giving five stars is bar closed at 11pm.

Absolutely shocking. Booked 2 rooms then read some horrific reviews so cancelled. Cancel facility wouldn't work in website so called hotel to cancel 2 hours before cancellation deadline. Also emailed to confirm cancellation again 2 hours in advance. Took the money off my card anyway. Been waiting almost 3 weeks for refund. Absolutely shocking. Do not book as they will not refund if you try to cancel. Only giving 1star as system won't allow none.

A fabulous hotel that is pet friendly, the rooms are well presented and clean, the bathrooms are great and the showers are high pressure and hot! A good hearty full English breakfast, not too expensive either as it was all freshly prepared, the continental buffet is available too with all that you could want from a breakfast bar. The free parking is very welcome at hotel that is right in the center of the city. You have a lot of fast food outlets nearby as well as the retail park literally just across the road. Highly recommend and I will be coming back for sure when I am next in Manchester.

Had seen some bad reviews but we were very happy with the standard of cleanliness. Beds were comfy with lovely clean bedding. Great price on a Sunday night, the only downside was the traffic but once asleep no problem. Breakfast was lovely, very quick service & everything hot. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I want to start off by saying I stay in loads of hotels for work and have never complained about one until this one. Booked this hotel as it had an onsite car park and it is a big chain so I presumed it would be a decent hotel. How wrong I was! There were spiders in the stairwell and the corridors leading to the rooms. This is never a good sign for a hotel. I went to my room. The decor was very dated but really that doesn't matter as long as the room is clean. It was not clean. There were cobwebs in all 4 corners of the bathroom and in 2 corners of the bedroom. The decorative rail that goes around the room was falling off right over the bed. There was a horrible smell in the room and it had a very unclean feel to it. I went to complain at the reception and the woman I spoke to was very nice and apologetic about it. She told me they would change the room for me and get housekeeping to sort out the other room. The new room wasn't much better. Again the new room had a general unclean feel to it. It was so cold I was shivering and when I went to put the radiator on I saw that the radiator was falling apart, I literally mean it was coming apart at the seams. Surely this has to be in violation of some health and safety code? Single pane windows so I could hear every car that drove passed as if the windows were wide open. I have stayed in some bad hotels before but this one really was just terrible. I would not stay here again and discourage anyone else from staying here.

Typically Campanile Hotel. A little dated in places but clean and tidy. Continental breakfast for £6 was reasonable. The hotel has secure gated parking which is free for residents which is a bonus.

Out of the way. Not v convenience place. Free Wi-Fi for only 20minute per day.

Stayed there last week for 3 days. We arrived around 2pm and had to wait for check in as the hotel was very busy due to the Manchester run being on that weekend. We ended up paying £110 both for the Saturday and Sunday night as the prices were high probably because of the city having lots of people there for the run. We decided to stay an extra night and was charged around £40 which was quite reasonable. Hotel is fresh and staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are a decent size and there are coffee / tea making facilities in the room. Overall it was good value for money at the non peak rate. Craig the general manager is a credit to the company and was very professional when I raised a concern which he later followed up with a written report.

Great place for a catch up meeting. Free parking (don't forget to register your vehicle reg number! ) with great menu offering and Kimbo coffee!

Really friendly staff! The car park is quite big and easily accessible. Hotel is a fine but the bathrooms are a bit old. All in all a good stay for our festival trip.

Smells like a sweaty sock everywhere. Nice staff, good breakfast, noisy location.

Cheap and for a price really ok. It is not premier Inn but I will book again. Good location and price.

Rooms were a little rough. Replastered walls wouldn't go amiss. Bathroom ceiling had a leak at some point. Rooms pretty basic and walls quite thin… overall bed was ok and wasn't in it that long so didn't hurt too much.

Fine to lay your head and sleep, comfy room, but basic, acceptable food in the restaurant and a bar for a drink with plenty of drinks to choose from (but a bit pricey). What I loved (and I know the area of Salford well) is that the hotel is enclosed within a security fence and they lock you in at 11.00pm — or maybe they lock the locals out — not sure which, but slopping out time is 0630 onwards followed by a tolerably acceptable breakfast. Staff are nice and helpful and breakfast is OK to set you up for the day. Not far from the city centre where there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops to choose from. OK so the Campanile is basic but waddaya expect for 40 quid.

Clean n tidy. Helpful staff. Close to city n all main roads. Would book again.

Ok for a budget hotel and for a short stay.

Disgusting left waiting half hour for our breakfast while other people who came after us got theirs before us when I ask the duty manager why this was she never even bothered to find out, just said "i dont know".

I have stayed here for three weeks and if you are looking for some basic accommodation with a pub next door, this will do the job. It gets quite noisy during the night as the local youngsters race on the road next to the hotel. The hotel is clean, towels changed daily (if you want) and room cleaned up daily too. The food in the pub is great (not the pizza) and cheap. Next door you have McD's and others plus a massive Sainsbury. It is around 20 min walk to the city centre. Happy to come again but not without ear plugs.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room rate excellent for a one night stay. £29 b&b cant fault it.
