Using the Hotel to be close to a bike race near by and at the same time I visit the lovely City of Dinant
The reception was extremely nice.
I had nice cosy and cleen room with view on the river!
For breakfast you get all what you can imagine.

Lots of traffic noise in the room. However staff are friendly and location is good.

Always delighted to stay in an Ibis hotel. Excellent reception, 2 free car parks (1 on each side of the hotel) Modest but clean room. Too bad for the bedding too hard for us. And a little noisy street side but nothing dramatic. Super strong point for breakfast. Just perfect. Nothing is missing for us and real coffee in grain and automatic machine to squeeze oranges! If the weather is nice, enjoy the terrace with the view of the Meuse, also accessible to people not staying at the hotel. Dinant, is not a very big city so the location of the hotel is very good. In conclusion, if I go back to Dinant, I'll go back to this hotel.

Great communication with the front desk, all very friendly and helpful.
The room was quite clean, a bit damp but we asked for the river view… we were basically on the shore.
They also have breakfast from 4.50th which is a regular Italian breakfast at an honest price.

The location of this hotel makes it unique in that it has a wonderful terrace right beside and above the river with great views in both directions. Like all Ibis hotels the rooms are basic but functional. The beds are always comfortable. There is a good amount of car parking available at the hotel and very near by. The only negative is that if you don't like sleeping in air co and leave the windows open for fresh air, the noise of the trains across the river is really loud and there are A LOT. As a location to explore the surrounding area this hotel is a really good economical choice.

Location location location… Ibis is a simple clean budget hotel but the location of this Ibis is everything. Actually on the river, a nice outside patio wraps around for lovely views.
Walk to the center of town in a few minutes.
We’d definitely stay here again. Oh… Pay the extra $ for river view. — ts well worth it. Total paid for room was $114. … We didn’t have breakfast as we thought €14+ each was too pricey.

Perfect for the one night city trip to Dinant altough you think there is nothing to do, it is a beautiful place with kind people.

I am a frequent traveler, graduated from a Hotel Management School. I am afraid this is my first complaint. We arrived at the front desk at 11.45 AM on 20th May 2018. Unlucky we had a train to catch up in 15 minutes. The taxi driver waited for us outside. What we need is putting our luggage in the hotel and come back later to check in. The front office "lady" had two guests in the lobby bar and I understand she needs to serve them first. At this moment, we asked a question containing a clear message "Sorry we are in hurry — how to store the luggages? — We are guests tonight. " The front office "lady" showed such an unpleasant look and pretended haven't seen us, which I may understand if she needs focusing. (Actually the hotel has a locker downstairs which need 1 Euro coin to lock it) In this situation, she can just reply directly. WELL, this is not the reason why I am angry. After she had served two guests, she went to the cashier for cash safer and recording information on the system. In this situation, it is so obvious that the guests nearby had a urgent question. She should use employment empowerment to skip those steps which can definitely be done later. WEll, we could wait and this is still not the reason I am angry. After, she turned to us and we finally knew there is a locker. Without informing the exact location but just a word "downstairs", we ran to find how to go down to find the locker. When we reached the locker, it needs 1 euro coin and we don't have it.

The hotel was very good and the location was great. The terrace at the back allows to enjoy the view and the breakfast is OK. The rooms are very clean. Only small downside: the rooms located on the street side are a bit noisy.

It is always with pleasure to book in this Hotel closer to the casino, the reception is excellent, the cleanliness of the room is always impeccable bathroom, some modifications are done as and as we noticed the renovation in the Room Shower 203 (finished plastic column with difficulty in regulating water temperature) it is renovated and convenient to use… Thanks to all the staff. A lovely hotel, located perfectly, right next to the Meuse / Maas river, a small walk to the city center, near the shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly spacious and clean.

Spend a night at the edge of the river, very comfortable room, spacious, clean, perfect, and to this town you have to go, I only stayed a few hours and loved to see it, the hotel is very close to downtown and has parking next door.

I stayed overnight at the Ibis Dinant Hotel, taking advantage of a discount (€25/person for one Night + breakfast). So I will not comment on the value for money.
I must, however, salute: — The sympathy of all the staff — the cleanliness of the room — the very hearty breakfast (€14 in normal time, but it is possible to take a less costly formula — 4, €5).
Attention, because the soundproofing is not optimal (although, from what I read, it is planned by the month of June 2018) and people sensitive to the outside noise (street side in particular) may not find their account…

The rooms are clean, the reception staff is friendly and humorous.
There is a small bar downstairs right next to the reception.
The hotel is decorated with paintings on the subject of saxophone, which gives a certain touch to the city.

We had to wait a long time to get our rooms booked long in advance. Under the bed housekeeping not done… So we waited… It is a way to find a lot of dust or other rubbish under the beds. The staff were very friendly. Heating heats very well fortunately as we had a very snowy weather.

We booked the Ibis Dinant Hotel for two nights (€100 with the flair so great! ).
Hotel staff at the top, nothing to say.
Breakfast varied, fresh, very good.
On the other hand the rooms are very poorly insulated and soundproofed, we hear what happens in the adjoining bedrooms as well as the people who chat on the terrace and the train that passes right in front.
It lacks plug next to the bed to load the smartphones for example.
The hotel is close to the centre, The Citadel, … 10 min walk, really great stay!

Honest and a little anonymous Hotel, 8-10 minutes walk from the center. Standard room with the bathroom a little small. Breakfast not included and outside parking.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bar and terrasse with a view over the Meuse was a very nice touch; enjoying a latte with such a beautiful sight was a great way to start my day. A few pluses: the good selection of the 24 hours snacks made my late arrival very pleasant and the locker system to safely leave my luggage on my last day was very effective.

Free parking and free Wi-Fi. Cozy hotel with functional. Rooms. Basic, clean room with open wardrobe, floor length mirror, table and chair. Complimentary earbuds near bed — handy for light sleepers. The shower cubicle has a shower head and 2 shower jets. 24/7 bar, good service by hotel staff. Nice breakfast — waffle maker is a plus.

We felt comfortable at the Ibis Dinant. Top: Cleanliness, friendliness of staff, free parking, hotel bar, location flop: Very soft mattress, equipment room (no toilet brush, only a few towels), good but expensive breakfast buffet.

I love the beautiful view of the Meuse that I reserve every time even if there is a small surcharge. This hotel is quiet and has a busy bar. I would highly recommend especially for the large attached parking. The staff are helpful and available. But it's better to book!

We had travelled over 600 km and we're extremely tired. Reception check in was hassle free. The room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed.

Without doubt this was the best Ibis hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the location fantastic. Nothing could have been better. 10 out of 10!

Typical Ibis located on the river which I have stayed in twice before. You can really tell how good a hotel is by how they react when the unexpected happens as it did with us when the fire alarm went off at about 5am. The hotel was evacuated calmly and the casino next door opened up to let everyone in. Refreshments were brought in while the emergency services checked everything out. In the morning we were given a complimentary breakfast. When we arrived the car park was full but with a massive free public car park almost opposite this was not a problem.

My wife and I decided to tour the Ardenne on a motorcycle and as we had previously stayed at the Ibis Dinant last year we thought it an ideal place to use as a base for the week. Weather was great, staff were attentive with Fabian on reception going above and beyond to ensure we had a list of all the local castles/chateau's to visit — what was worth a trip and what was not. We paid the extra to have a view of the river just to keep my wife happy. Unfortunately as the weather in August was very warm this also meant we needed to keep the window open to stay cooler — there is air conditioning but this is too noisy to leave on during the night. Having the window open meant having to listen to the freight trains on the other bank of the river :) What with that and being on the top floor meant we listened to the water cistern filling up in the attic space above our room. Don't get me wrong, we had a great trip but had to wait for a rest until we got home and them we slept like logs… Would I do it again, yes, in an instant. The area is beautiful and when they finish work on the Dinant promenade it will be even better. Only next time I will try a room on the ground floor facing the road :)

Easy to find hotel, free public parking on site. It was a very nice hotel. Peaceful hotel, no noise at night. Hearty and good breakfast, fresh fruit juice.

While it's basic, for an Ibis chain hotel, this place is a really good choice – it's really clean, with comfortable furnishings. We were especially impressed with the kind, welcoming staff. Overall, if you want to stay in Dinant on a budget, we'd recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location and great beer. I can't recommend this place enough!

The hotel is in a lovely spot on the river in Dinant. We had a beautiful view from our window. The hotel was fine. Exactly as we expect when we book an Ibis — clean, smallish room and professional staff. No frills but exactly what you want when doing a long journey like we were. Bed was comfy and the parking was appreciated.

Great reception at the front desk. Clean and functional room. Correct bedding except the pillows that I did not like. The service at the bar impeccable. Nice terrace with a view of the Meuse. Too bad we were not aware of the possibility of taking a river side room (with surcharge of €10). Breakfast nickel. We will return without any worries… thanks for this great stay.

A well-located car park allows you to leave your car and walk around.

Great hotel for tourists, even if you are passing through for a few nights. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable with views of the river Meuse and is only 800 meters from the city centre.

Top floor river view room is wonderful, great location, walking distance to most of the interesting places, shops, restaurants & etc. Free parking, satisfied bed, clean, good service & reasonable room space compare to the price & location. Enjoy breakfast in the hotel balcony with river view, fresh squeezed orange juice, various choices of coffee & etc. To me, it's worth to pay extra for it!

The hotel is very good, but I just find it unfortunate that for the price (290 euros for 3 nights) there is even not a whole small fridge to keep cold food and drinks, it's hurting the heart still have to throw food because they cannot keep it a day or 2. Shame, a small fridge in the room of hospitals would be really appreciated.
