Aesthetically pleasing castle make sure the sky is blue when you visit as your photos will be that much more ace I'm not sure about the inside of the castle and whether it's free of charge to enter. I entered for free and they had some super dodgy activity on the inside and I stayed clear of the mad men with axes and so on. Viewer discretion advised.

Historically nice… but not that wow of an architectural design. Place is nice and clean though… get a souvenir from there.

Intereating castle near Minsk. The Radzewill family owmed for many centuries. The tour is along 3 towers and one part of the palace. The steps I the towers are quite high and narrow. Tje expositoon is moatly anout tje history of tej castle and of the Radzewill family.

Interesting place with different parts: warrior castle, hotel and museum of kings way of life. Well made!

Visit this castle a month ago; — definitely well worth visit. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best so my walk in the park became a little bit cold, the rain was hanging in the air, but I get a nice impression even during those conditions. The castle itself was well restored and maintained, multilingual info on each floor. The ceilings in the banquet hall is wonderful to watch, fantastic work and well maintained. Even without knowledge in the Russian language it's easy to enjoy this castle on your own. I came by car, so I had to improvise carparking, better signs for parking could be requested — otherwise no complains. Later I took a walk in town Mir, also pleasant place to walk around and get impression of the life in countryside.

Unexciting site great surroundings. Restoration. Of the building could be better.

A marvelous castle. I recommend to stay in it a couple of days, especially with children. Feel the atmosphere, walk in silence and solitude. Comfortable suites, including two-storey. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on site.

Decently done. Good restoration, intelligent exposition. The museum workers are unfriendly. And very short of little creative chips.

One of the few castles in Belarus that has survived to this day. The monument of architecture was restored, somewhere not very presentable and "beautiful". There is a hotel in the castle. Excursions and souvenirs can be booked. Close to the castle there is a large free parking for visitors. The exposition inside the castle is different: from medieval times to the middle of the last century.

Mir Castle is a great option to visit from Minsk if you are by car. I think I will like both older people and children/teenagers. The castle is very picturesque, all around is beautiful and well-groomed. A little disliked replica inside, but many of it will not notice.

A wonderful place to stay with the whole family. In addition to a tour of the castle (independent or with a guide) you can visit the souvenir shop, café, stay for the night. Polite staff, beautiful clean environment around and the importance of the place contributed to a pleasant pastime in the walls of this castle. Will definitely come here again, only in the summer. At night time, by the way, the castle and the neighborhood looks susceptible, if there is a possibility to stay until the evening-you will not regret.

Nice place for a promenade with a beautiful sight of a castle and a watermark nearby. If you aren't a fan of Belarus history then it's not worth going inside, though, better have more time outside and around the castle.

It is my first time to see a European castle, not a Medieval one though. But it is thrilling!

Great place to see! Plenty of walking trails, I came in the evening (18:30) which means that I could not get inside the Mir castle. Regardless, it was an educational, fun evening!

The castle is very beautiful. It's a great place for photo shoots. It's nice to be here in "not a season" when there's no crowd of tourists and you can enjoy the medieval atmosphere, climb the towers, go down to the prison basement, walk through the battle galleries.

It looks great. There's a good museum inside. Great location Excellent views.

Interesting place. There's something to see. Come and enjoy the real medieval architecture. There's a wardrobe, a toilet, a restaurant, a souvenir shop. Guided tours, audio and individually. United Kingdom (Belarus).

Like the castle and the hotel is gorgeous. Not the cheapest place. But it is clear they pay money. The staff is friendly and courteous. The restaurant is also very good. The prices match the level of the restaurant, what can be said about the staff — one fact that surprised them the very request to bring clean utensils, and not to use those that were not tablecloths of many shows, although decent schools about it it is not necessary to remind.

A very sweet castle with a cellar restaurant, but a lousy museum. Perhaps for kids only — I would recommend to walk around more after lunch.

Must! The eastern gothic styled palace/fortress in the world. Great history. Interesting museum complex and exposition. Cozy restaurant with charming staff. And finally very-very amazing hotel with modern well — equipped rooms, awesome view from windows. And very-very quiet at night. A little bit creepy but definitely cool!

This is the place to be seen in Belarus. In the castle many exhibitions and get ready to be very high steps. The lake next to the parking lot there are a few cafes.

A great castle! Beautiful views, interesting composition inside. What about the fact that many replica, it is necessary to recall the history of the castle, and personally saw the castle in 80-90 years, when it was free entry and you can climb anywhere. Desolation and ruin. The interior was empty. But at the moment everything is restored and in my opinion quite authentic. Recommend!

So, today, 21.08.2016 year we finally went on a tour to the glorious Mir castle. ON the Way to the castle a lot of pointers where to go and how much is left, so where would you are not left in the direction of the Mir castle and not get lost. On arrival there is a small Park directly opposite the castle gates, where the way and the ticket office is, but it is almost impossible to Park as it surrounds the city of craftsmen Souvenirs, and a little further if you drive straight, there will be ample Parking for buses and cars. The entrance to the castle costs 10 rubles (old rubles 100000), preschoolers free (which pleases, as in Dudutki son 4yo took the money for the entrance). TOILET if someone will need is located immediately after the ticket office on the left. By the way, very impressed with the quality of repair and cleanliness in the toilet, in the Minsk apartment you see such a high quality finish (builders note). On the way to the castle you are greeted by guides who will gladly give you a tour and answer all your questions. Wonderful castle! A small but pleasant Park. Along with Nesvizh, Grodno, Palace of Paskevich in Gomel, Polotsk and Geroicheskom monastery in Slonim is what in Belarus to travel be sure to!

One of 4 belarusian objects in UNESCO list. Great defendive style, nice interiours. Interesting labirynth of spiral stairs in the towers — available not for everybody, as the stairs are very steep.

It was a pleasure to have a walk around the castle. We were there in autumn when yellow and red colored trees beautifully highlight the castle.

Nice place, very beautiful and atmospheric. Ideal to go with children, because a lot of places where you can TM to climb, for example, in the towers. Compared to the Nesvizh Palace inside very poor and poor. But it kompensiruet just huge, compared to, again, Nesvizh, castle grounds, the entrance to which is free.

Have a place to walk: the main exposition, the two towers, the prison and the ghetto Museum. The audio guide is better not to take – a lot of unnecessary and difficult to perceive by ear.

Experience the World-Nesvizh in the school years left still, but only in age I realized the beauty of this place. Advise to go with children as a recreation and development of the cultural state.

Interesting and beautiful place, when viewed from you can get not only the courtyard, but the tower and pass through the "walls" of the castle (by the way, absolutely free). In the towers there are small exhibits: weapons, ceramics and so on. It will be interesting to both adults and children.

What an amazing castle. This is truly a remarkable place where you are right in the middle of history. A most informing museum and on top of that a very decent restaurant. It deserves its place on the Unesco list!

Beautiful castle and well maintained museum I love it…!

Really a great place. Difficult to describe, and even better to see with your own eyes. There are certainly flaws in the service, but they will not, it is still all offset by the beauty of this place.

Very interesny and original castle. There is a hotel. The next time you need it will stop. Very competent guides. Without them the atmosphere of an era, not sense. I recommend to visit.

Half of the population of Mir was Jewish (Like in Grodno Neisvizch…) The first murder of the Jews of Mir was on the castle hill The last Jews of Mir concentrated in the castle before the SS murdered them. 4 stars for the importance of the place. Like is not the right word.
