Perfection. The staff elevate the proposition here. Lots of Barbados venues serve great food and have great views, but only the Roundhouse team treat you like family from day one.

Shocking service & staff attitude. Table booked for 1.30pm, ended up sitting down at 1.45pm with no side plates, cutlery or glasses on a table which was only had five chairs & place mats when it had been booked for six people By 2pm we’d been given glasses of tap water (no jug left on the table), still no side plates or cutlery The waitress then took our drinks order, 3 of which arrived but 2 didn’t so we then had to chase them up. The iced coffee finally arrived without any milk so we had to chase that up We shared a platter for starters which arrived an hour after we’d sat down, the mains arrived 30 mins later which they also got wrong as they served French fries instead of salad How the place then had the nerve to add 10% service charge to our bill is beyond me, I will never go there again.

A warm and welcoming staff, yummy food, great price, children friendly, lovely view, beach access, and more. I chose this fine restaurant to celebrate my Twin’s 12th birthday. They enjoyed everything about their experience and the walk on the beach after (well into night time). Thank you!

The view was great.
The food was good. The sauces were to spicy but when asked it there were we were told No. We had to get another sauce for the plantain tostones. 20 minutes before we received our drink order another 20 before we received our food. Honesty it could of been longer. My husband is diabetic so we had to pull out snacks. When done another 20 minutes to get the check. The reason we came to Round House looking for coconut pie advertise online but we were told they do not make it anymore. Lastly, we were seated in the doorway and kept getting interrupted when they were seating other guess in the patio.

Very good atmosphere. I love the beach setting and the roast breadfruit.

Best Rum Punch on Barbados! Quaint and cozy rooms for a Great Staycation on the East Coast! Good reasonably priced food always! They used to do great quiche. I miss that. But the chicken on garlic mash and fried okra are a good replacement. My husband loves the flying fish.

I went to Round House for a birthday dinner, and it was overall, great experience. My guest and I enjoyed the ambience, the cuisine was lovely, the scenery was incredible (especially that day because the sky had a pink cast over it), and the hospitality was the best.

Beautiful location, delicious food and warm and welcoming service! Don’t miss this spot!

We chose The Roundhouse for lunch to mark a special occasion and couldn't have been more disappointed. They were short-staffed and so the one waitress was doing a fabulous job, but the kitchen was kicking out food of the lowest standard. For a place with such a good local reputation I was sorely disappointed by and won't ever eat there again. Stick to the rum punch which is outstanding.

This is a beautiful restaurant right on the beach. Bathsheba Beach is right down the way. We sat on the balcony overlooking the ocean, palms waving above us, surf crashing beneath us. Truly island paradise. The service was friendly and helpful, and definitely on island time, even though we told her we had limited time. We finally got food, and of course tried the island specialties — all of which were delicious — Mofongo, the fried fish sandwich, breadfruit — amazing. Prices were no higher than anywhere else. Wish we could have lingered longer.

Lovely beautiful location however let down by the price and quality of the food on offer. I'm not one to shy away from spending money but when the food is poor and you charge restaurant prices I have to mention something. But outside of the food quality it's fantastic.

Five star view overlooking the water. Service was excellent. Coconut shrimp appetizer was amazing. Did not want to leave. Most of the parking is up a steep incline, and you have to walk down some lopsided steps to get to the restaurant (and back up when you’re done). If that is a concern, you might try the limited parking directly in front of the restaurant.

Iconic with amazing sea views of Barbados' eastern coastline. Only slightly spoiled by my first ever meal that resulted in blistering of my lower lip from the sauce on the fish special. But hey, first time I have ever had an allergic reaction in any restaurant so it is memorable.

Planned to pop in for light bites with kids before taking dogs for a walk on beach. Waited 25 mins for menus. Then waited an hour for food, which when it came was lukewarm at best and chips were over/under cooked (burned on outside and raw in middle). Ended up with only an hour before sunset to walk the dogs. They refunded the main meals, and one of the ladies who served was really helpful and empathetic, hence 2 stars. Great venue ruined by poor service. Easy to fix.!

Amazing view of Bathsheba beach. Was very relaxing to sit, eat, and watch the waves come in. The pumpkin fritters were delicious, the best ones we had during our visit!

This was one of the best dining options we had in 2 weeks in Barbados. Some unique meals you won't see in other tourist areas (I didn't see coucou and flying fish anywhere else — tasty and recommended! ) and a lovely setting overlooking the ocean. Friendly wait staff with good recommendations. Would come back in a heartbeat.

We LOVED the food, customer service, and view so much that we ate dinner here twice on our trip and spontaneously stayed a night. The sunrise view of Bathsheba beach from the deck of the Inn is breathtaking. Highly recommend booking a room and/or stopping in for a bite (or two). :)

Most pleasant staf very accommodating… meals are delicious even if they do take long… commanding view of the East Coast.

My fiance and I travelled to Barbados last March and stayed at Round House for 3 nights. WE LOVED IT! Not only is the East Coast a must see, but Round House staff, food, drinks and accommodations are wonderful. The rooms are unique and the view is spectacular. We recommend anyone travelling to Barbados stop here. A couple tips for travellers — when renting a vehicle, make sure you have a map or download a GPS map of the island, since it can be tricky to navigate AND prepare to pay a bit extra for food and drink on the East Coast.

Been coming here for years. Great ambiance and views of the Atlantic. I have never had a bad meal and the service is beyond excellent.

This establishment is all about the location and view, they do no disappoint. The food is good, but not inventive. The drinks lend themselves to partakers hanging about a while.

Named for it's structure this "round house" proves difficult to get to. However this hotel/restaurant is worth every death defending turn on the "two lane" road down a cliff. And the best part has to be the spectacular view of Bathsheba park.

The burgers and pulled pork were tender and full of flavor. If you are around St. Nicolas Abbey or Bathsheba you must stop here. The only downside is the wait time for food but the views more than make up for it. They also have free Wi-Fi.

If you're out exploring this more rugged side of Barbados make sure you visit the around House. The views are amazing and the food and drink just what you need. Don't be too eager to move on and this is one of the best spots this side of the island. If you do venture in to the beach I wouldn't advise going into the sea as the Atlantic currents and undertow are exceptionally dangerous here.

My wife and I arrived here late night after Google maps sent us driving though weird unpaved roads. We stayed in room 2, a very comfortable bed and the sound of the waves permanently in the background. The highlight to us was breakfast, a delicious herb and cheese omelette and French toast. The beach is not as nice as some in the west coast and as there are a lot of rocks immediately in the shore this is clearly not a bathing/swimming spot. Worth stopping for food on your way to the beautiful botanical garden nearby.
